This was ideal accommodation for a couple.

The welcome was fantastic, the walk through very professional then we were left in peace and privacy to enjoy the facilities and the surroundings. And what a beautiful location it is. Shame it was the middle of summer in a way we would have loved to have fired up that wood burner!!!

Lovely place, wish we could have stayed longer

The farm setting atmosphere and surroundings of The Stables was so calm but it was the intentional welcoming presence and home feel from Katy and her partner that contributed to this the most.

Their thoughtful touches in the cottage of homemade shortbread and other goodies was greatly appreciated. And then the luxurious feel inside a modest yet beautiful cottage on the outside turned into us appreciating amazing sleep in the massive comfortable bed and many a soak in the hot tub and slipper bath.

Perfect, what a little gem of a place.

Spotlessly clean and cosy, owners live on site and were there for help but not at all intrusive. Loved seeing the horses being so well cared for. The owners allowed us to use one of the fields at the top that was fenced in to let our dog off lead which was lovely. There are plenty of places to eat locally, would recommend Jacobs Well for a good home cooked meal. The local takeaway Honley Spice was amazing value for money and the best dansak I’ve had in years! Local Budgens in Honley has a sandwich counter that was out of this world! The walks by the stream at the bottom were great. All in all a great base if you are keen walkers/cyclists or just want a place to chill and switch off from the world for a week. Hot tub was wonderful and private and great for those aching muscles. If you want somewhere relaxing that feels like you are in the middle of nowhere but still have the convenience of Uber eats this is for you! Thank you for an amazing relaxing week. Tracey and Andy

What a great place.

We loved staying here. The rural location was just what we wanted, although only a few minutes walk from the village which had lots to offer. Katy (& family) was a perfect host, on hand for questions and advice but in no way interfering. Go on, book it - you won't be sorry!

The owners' care and commitment to the guests' experience is outstanding. The cottage is warm and cosy with an amazingly spacious bedroom. The huge bed was so, so comfortable. We slept soundly as it was so perfectly quiet. The Stables is situated in gorgeous countryside with fantastic walks on the doorstep. The magical Marsden Moors and Holme Valley are nearby. Within about one hours drive the fascinating Salts Mill in Saltaire, National Trusts' Nostell Priory and East Riddlesdon Hall can be visited. A visit to Hawarth, the Bronte Parsonage and the iconic walk to Top Withins is a mid-week must! Thank you again. Kevin and Karen June 2026

Lovely accommodation, perfect for a couple [& a dog!

]. Very clean and well appointed, especially the wet room shower. Pleasant stroll into Honley itself where there were several places to eat and drink if you don't fancy cooking. The owners, who live on site were very nice and helpful with directions and suggestions not to mention the home baked shortbread as a lovely welcome gift.

Perfect week spent at the Stables, was great seeing the horses right on your doorstep.

The owners greeted us on our arrival with the keys and a quick guided tour with a couple of welcome treats. The property is laid out perfectly and cosy, with the private hottub and wood burner to come back too after a day out we couldn’t have asked for any more,

This bolt hole is amazing!

We felt like we had died and gone to heaven. There was absolutely nothing we felt could have improved our stay, from the friendly welcome, to waking up to the gentle wynnying of the horses (accompanied by the birdsong), to relaxing in the hot tub. This really was our idea of paradise. Thank you so much to Katy and her wonderful family. We look forward to seeing you again

We had the most amazing week here!

The hosts were so so welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond! The homemade shortbread was an amazing touch. Very quiet, peaceful area and we loved the friendly horses right on pur doorstep! Rolo (our puppy) loved them too! Overall, we had the most amazing first "family" get away and we left engaged! So this place will always hold a special place in our hearts! We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Easy parking. Warm and cosy. Huge bed and the best sleep ever!! Very comfortable and greet walks nearby for dogs. Adored watching the horses and stables life. Our hosts were so helpful friendly and considerate. Fabulous spot for day trips and we loved the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Thanks again

Very nice very clean cottage.

The hot tub is very nice and kept very clean checked daily. Be aware that it is a working stable and there are busy people around most of the day. They work very hard! There is no private outside seating area. Very nice welcome bottle of fizz in the fridge. I can recommend the Jacob’s well for lunch. Very good food!

Lovely warm welcome when we arrived Katie could not if been more helpful in showing us round the cottage and advice on where to go for walks with our fur baby and where to go for food .

.the cottage was spotless and perfect for what we wanted ...it was a 10 minute walk into the village of honley and there were plenty of lovely places to eat that were dog friendly..must add the shortbread that we were left was amazing thank you ..plenty of walks and places to visit near by ,would highly recommend this cottage to anyone♥️

We had our first holiday with our dog and it was perfect. Fantastic walks, beautiful dog friendly pubs and restaurants very close by. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. The cottage itself is lovely and the extra special touches set it apart: hot tub, under floor heating, extremely comfortable bed, gorgeous bath...

Beautiful and tasteful features throughout and Katy was an amazing host. Really welcoming, friendly and helpful and it was lovely to arrive to bubbles, crisps and delicious homemade shortbread and then leave with raspberries and rhubarb from the garden. Honley is a great location and the cottage is perfect for two with everything you could need. Loved having the horses so nearby as well. We hope to return.

We had a wonderful stay here; a perfect middle point for myself and my mum to get together and celebrate our birthdays!

What better way to celebrate than relaxing in the hot tub, and not having to worry about anything because it was all here for us - including delicious homemade shortbread on arrival!! The cottage was super clean and cosy, and Katy was very friendly and helpful. It's also in a great location; far away enough from town to be peaceful, but not so far that you can't just nip out for dinner :)

We stayed in April for my partner's birthday.

We really loved the cottage, which was well equipped and very clean, we liked having the underfloor heating too. Great surrounding area and woodland for walking our dog. We had a really peaceful stay and enjoyed seeing the horses and life at a working stables. The short bread (best we've ever had) wine and milk was a nice gesture and much appreciated. Owners nice, friendly and helpful. Loved the jacuzzi. We would recommend.

We had a lovely week staying at this property.

The owners were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area, full of recommendations on walks and places to eat. The cottage was very comfortable, the hot tub a delight after a long walk. We would love to stay again in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here and really appreciated being shown where things were, how things worked and the home made shortbread.

Initially we were worried about our dogs barking at the horses but the owners reassured us that they wouldn't frighten them and, after a short while the dogs realised it was nothing to bark at and one of the dogs even enjoyed sitting out in the evenings to just watch the horses. It was the perfect place to relax in the peace and quiet and to be able to explore the Peak District.

Lovely little cottage in a peaceful location.

Cottage was really clean and had all the amenities we needed, private gated hot tub. Under floor heating was so nice underfoot (although we had to turn ours off as the dog likes a cold floor to lay on). Lovely big super king size bed and comfy bedding! On arrival Katy had left us, homemade shortbread, crisps, milk and a bottle of fizz, lovely little touch! Just a short walk away into the little town of Honley with shops, pubs and little restaurants. Or 10 minute drive into Holmfirth. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing break away!

Everything we needed was provided as well as treats which are very much appreciated. The owners live on site, we didn't have any issues when we were there but if we had I feel confident they would have sorted them. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will most likely return

Small but perfectly formed.

An ideal retreat for a couple looking for peace and quiet. The cottage has everyrhing to make a stay complete, and although it's in an isolated location, it's only a 5 minute drive from all essential amenities. The owners go above and beyond to provide a quality experience. Highly recommend.

Katy and her hubby were lovely, really welcoming and friendly.

The hot tub was warm and very, very clean. The hob wouldn’t work despite us having clean, dry hands. A couple more mugs for tea addicts would be much appreciated. The cottage was very smart and lovely. The walk from the cottage through the woods was perfect.

The stables was fantastic, katy is very welcoming with lots of local knowledge, some amazing walks in the doorstop, most relaxed holiday we have had in a while roll top bath and a super king bed in the bedroom and a private hot tub in the garden just topped it off, would highly recommend

An absolutely stunning property to stay in!

The room and the way it was decorated was just perfect in keeping with the stable theme, the large metal bath was great along with the large walk in shower. Kitchen facilities were perfect for the two of us and easy to use. We couldn't have asked for a better situated place to stay, within walking distance to shops and pubs also close to many walking routes or driving distance to other attractions and locations! 10/10 we will be coming back!

Beautiful place stunning surroundings .Lovely to wake up seeking deer first thing and listening to owls after sun down . So much wildlife . The host’s are fantastic . Give you all the privacy you need but on hand also if you need them . Underfloor heating , so it’s always toasty after a walk . Hot tub great for relaxing . Defiantly booking again later on this year to recharge batteries and let hair down . Katy is a gem dropped some homemade shortbread round . If you’re looking for a break to unwind I think it’s perfect . You have local shops , pubs etc… 10min walk away . Close but not too close as to impact on the surroundings. Lots of woodland to explore and country lanes to walk . Great walk in shower . Kitchen is perfect for two small freezer and separate fridge . We stayed a week but I could have easily done longer which is not like me I’m usually happy to be going home .I would definitely recommend. 5 stars for me

We had a fantastic week staying in The Stables Honley.

Helpful and friendly host and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Lovely to have the underfloor heating ready for our arrival on a cold and wet November evening. We definitely give this the thumbs up

My hubby and I had a blast at The Stables.

A beautiful place to wake up in, loved the remote controlled skylight blinds. Katy, the owner is an absolute gem, we'll definitely be coming back soon. Hospitality included homemade shortbead which hubby says were "delicious" and Katy even made gluten-free macaroons which were equally as awesome. The property was very comfortable and cosy. The log burner created the perfect atmosphere in the space. The hottub was lovely to relax in, although a shelter would have been great for rainy days. All in all we had a great stay and will definitely be back very soon.

The cottage was 5 star plus it was fab and immaculate the owner was friendly and helpful ig was in thd middle of rhe country however 10 minutes walk and all the shops and pubs.

The Stables at Honley is Absolutely Fabulous!

You will not be disappointed staying here Katie the owner is really friendly and helpful Our stay here was just delightful, we were gifted some home made yummy shortbread biscuits, a large bag of crisps, a bottle of milk and a bottle of cava on arrival, such special added touches to our stay. The property is set in a peaceful location with a dog walk straight out of your door that will take you through a lovely wood. We got to watch a farrier shoeing the horses just outside our window. The copper bath was a really nice feature which we enjoyed having a little soak in, we also enjoyed an evening spent in the hot tub too. If we visit Yorkshire again we would definitely only want to stay here. Lovely memories made. Thank you

Nice to have a hot tub. Had everything I needed for a lovely relaxing stay. Only disappointment was that there was no charging point for electric vehicles as stated in the description. I have a hybrid so it wasn’t a problem. Very nice hosts and lovely area to explore.

Cottage was beautiful, well equipped with more than you would need.

So clean, finished to a high standard. So many helpful instructions in a folder. Owners were lovely, very accommodating letting us check in a little early to feed our baby, they let our little boy stroke the horse too. Owners left a nice welcome gift, crisps, cava, homemade shortbread & milk. Hot tub was so relaxing and a nice space to enjoy on an evening one the little one was asleep. Only bit of constructive feedback I can give is maybe a shelter above above the hot tub so it can be used all year around. It didn't bother us as we had dry weather. I'd highly recommend & I'd go back again. Thank you for an excellent stay

Plenty of good walks in the area and nice pubs. The cottage was really nice and cosy. Loved the hot tub and big bath after a long days walk! The owners are really kind and left us shortbread etc which was amazing on arrival! Horses just outside the cottage which are lovely to see. Thank you for having us :-) x

Very nice cottage, with some wonderful aesthetics positioned in a beautiful and peaceful surrounding area and easy access to tourist villages, sites and lovely dog walking areas.

Lovely owners who made us feel welcome and even went above and beyond leaving us a bottle of prosecco, homemade shortbread and milk, tea, coffee etc. Myself, my partner and our dogs had a lovely break, we only wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Lovely treats on arrival. Constructive feedback….. the pictures don’t show a table to eat but there is a table and chairs. There is also a small table top freezer so you can bring frozen items. Property has everything you need to make your stay special. You will not be disappointed it’s a 5 star from us!

Fabulous cottage, location & hosts.

Our 2nd stay was just as fantastic as the first. Welcome treats of home-made shortbread & Cava thoroughly enjoyed & appreciated. Fabulous walks surrounding the cottage , and walking distance to town centre & farm shop. Lovely hot-tub to relax in afterwards! Rosy (our cat) loves watching the horses in the stables. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely faultless.

Cottage is stunning. Finished to a high standard with everything you need and so warm. Host super friendly and approachable, but leave you in peace. Ideal location as rural but just on outskirts of village so you get the best of both worlds. Really highly recommend. Owner also has a 3 bed property (sleeps 6) which she kindly let us view, to the same outstanding standard. I'd love to come back again to either property, with or without the rest of our family.

A wonderful holiday cottage in a lovely location.

We loved everything about this cottage and it felt like home from the minute we stepped inside. Spotlessly clean, very cosy with a massive comfy bed…it has everything you need for a relaxing weekend away. The jacuzzi was lovely even on a cold, rainy day and the welcome goodies on arrival were a nice surprise too. Katy and Stuart are the Perfect hosts and Honley is a great village with plenty of walks, pubs and things to do.

If you are looking for a relaxing break with first class accommodation and endless walks in beautiful surroundings then this is the place.

The cottage is finished to the highest standard and the hot tub is excellent for chilling out after a nice walk. The town of Honley has some great little places to visit like Krafty for a fantastic little tipple of craft beers and Wired for home made cake and coffee. If you want to escape the daily madness for some tranquil peace and quiet then definitely give this place a go.

We finally treated ourselves to a holiday!

Owners were warm and welcoming and provided a bottle of milk, prosecco and short bread which was unexpected! I did feel the property wasn't correctly listed. I wouldn't say there is an enclosed garden due to it being at the back of the property that you can't access from the property itself, it's a short walk from the front door. It is also not a high fence or large area for two medium dogs! This is also where the hot tub is situated. Unfortunately there is also a busy working farm with horses that affect privacy and cleanliness. In the property itself there's a large window in the living area where it is overlooked by the stables and people who pay for their horses to be kept there were constantly looking in! It was a lot of money for what it was! The bath only filled up so far and stopped running hot water. The window in the bedroom there was no blind or curtain so next door in their garden would be able to see in. There were lots of insects around because of the horses right outside and cleaning them next to the property, which prevented opening windows. I asked the owners before booking if the horses would be a problem to a dog who will scream to see horses and they said no, it definitely was an issue. There's no photos on here of the stables outside the property window, it is a busy farm. I found myself timing when we could go out and my dogs were constantly having to be kept on lead.

Lovely location, very clean, beautiful bath in the bedroom, shower lovely but if you put the sprays on the shower the bathroom does get very wet and takes a while to dry, bed a little hard for us but nice and big Owners are lovely people and very helpful, and suggested some great places to visit.

Overall the property is very well kept, clean and of a high standard and I enjoyed my stay.

The property is however very close to a very busy stables and I did feel privacy and cleanliness was an issue as a result. There is very little natural light to the down stairs, but having the curtains opened on the one large main window and the front door open for ventilation meant everyone in the yard can see what you are doing downstairs. Also being so close to the yard, I feel caused a secondary problem of flies and moths in the property and there were a lot of both during my stay. The Jacuzzi is not accessible from the building, but is a short walk down the side of the building, but also through the stables and I felt at times like I was being watched every time I walked through. There is an upstairs window which looks out at the Jacuzzi that, is of a height where next door being stood in their yard, could just see over their fence and into the room, the fence not being just high enough in my opinion. There was no curtain to obstruct this view either, so I felt I had to avoid that side of the room whilst changing.

A great location for the week.

Lots of walks to do and close to the village and farm shop which had lovely places to eat. Our dog loved meeting all the horses and people. Perfect size for 2 people and a dog! Everyone was so friendly and helpful too.

! It's perfect for any little get away where you just want to relax - due to the nature of our stay we didn't venture too far for walks but the host told us about a variety of different ones we could have gone on. The whole property was stunning, immaculate and made you feel completely at home. The hotter was amazing and secluded, the bath was massive!! Me and my boyfriend loved every last minute and are looking to return in the colder months. Excellent stay away - We Recommend you all go !!

The hosts were very welcoming and helpful and there were some lovely extras i.e bottle of Prosecco/home made shortbread and milk all ready on our arrival. Would highly recommend this property. Ps if you love horses this is the place to stay!!

Our stay at The Stables was wonderful.

It was the first holiday with our dog Winston and it was a dream. The location is relaxing and peaceful. The property it’s self was great, and faultless. The shortbread and Cava was a lovely touch. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to get away and relax with or without a pet. Definitely looking to book for next year.

A wonderful stay couldn’t ask for much more really in any type of accommodation this had everything.

Owners were fantastic and very friendly and are always about if you need them but there is still so much privacy. There is a walk in every single direction which was perfect as we took two of our dogs. Would 100% recommend to anyone and we will definitely return in the near future.

The property did not disappoint was very comfortable had eveything we needed and was very clean and warm.

The bed was comfortable the copper bath was lovely and the hot tub was a brilliant bonus. Had a very lovely and relaxing stay would Highly recommend and would love to go back again.

This is a cracking little cottage and an ideal position for totally relaxation, surrounded in stunning views.

The cottage is immaculate and I'm very fussy in cleanliness . The freestanding bath in the bedroom, the multi-jet walk in shower ,and not forgetting the hot tub , the owners have really done a great job in making this cottage a little gem . Last but not least, the owners were so welcoming, friendly and approachable, there if you needed them but left you to get on and enjoy yourself, perfect hosts .

We had a great holiday in the most wonderful cottage - relaxing entertaining with the horses just outside and beautiful walks direct from the cottage.

Katie, her husband and daughter were perfect hosts there if you needed them but otherwise very unobtrusive. Perfect - would highly recommend this cottage.

Romantic setting and beautiful views, the cottage was excellent and had everything we needed for a relaxing week away. Hot tub and copper bath were also awesome. Katy and Stuart were very friendly and so helpful. The Cava and shortbread was well received!! Will be coming back soon! 5*

Wonderful walks along public footpaths that were found in every direction you took from the cottage.

Brilliant to watch the comings and goings of a working stable from your front patio or retreat to the secluded hot tub to the rear of the cottage. The property itself is just gorgeous and the hosts could not have been friendlier with lots of useful tips about the area. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic little getaway for 3 nights at this perfectly placed cottage.

Everything you need supplied for an enjoyable stay and great location for nearby village and walks. Sykes were great when we had to change our original dates due to Covid. All in all a wonderful experience!

The hosts were lovely and attentive, the place was exactly as it was described and was immaculate.

The hot tub in particular was a lovely treat.

A wonderful little cottage and an equally wonderful couple who own it, very welcoming and helpful nothing is too much trouble.

This is our 2nd time here at the stables and it wont be our last. No bother booking through sykes very easy to do.

The accommodation, including the external courtyard and hot tub areas were spotless.

Good quality bedding and towels, comfortable bed. Bath in bedroom and wet room excellent. Owners supplied provisions on arrival, including bottle of fizz, shortbread, teabags, milk, salt and pepper etc. Underfloor heating to the ground floor, including the bathroom. The setting is beautiful with an enjoyable walk into the village of Honley and around the beautiful countryside. A short drive from Holmfirth and lots of other village and open areas to explore. The Stables, as you might expect, is directly adjacent to the horse stables and the owners also have chickens. The hot tub area was reasonably private with fairy lights and a separate outdoor light to provide a romantic setting in the evening. I would definitely recommend this for a short break, a short distance from the cities of Leeds and Manchester.

It’s in a very peaceful setting with lots of walks on your doorstep and not far to walk into Honley. The cottage was lovely just like the photos it’s exceptionally clean. Lovely comfy bed and lovely views. The cottage is lovely and warm our dog enjoyed the heated floors. Lovely to see the horses and chickens right outside your window. Everyone there very friendly. I would recommend this cottage to anyone.

The Cottage comfortable and homely with all of the essentials, it even has a hot tub with excellent views of the Yorkshire Dales.

They provide information on some local walks in laminated format (great for taking on a walk). Katy and Stu are friendly, welcoming hosts that are happy to share ideas for days out in the area. They went the extra mile to make us feel special on our honeymoon. We would highly recommend a visit to the stables for anyone looking for a quiet getaway in the Yorkshire Dales

We had such a fantastic holiday at The Stables & we came home very happy & refreshed.

It was such a comfortable place & on our arrival we were pleased to find some homemade shortbread which was delicious, crisps, milk, tea, coffee & also a lovely bottle of cava. Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful telling us good places to visit & there were also some excellent maps of local walks right from the door step so our dogs were happy too. We had a nice warm place to return to & the hot tub was sheer luxury to relax in. We would highly recommend The Stables & we look forward to returning.

Beautiful setting with horses outside the window. Very comfortable and well equipped cottage and the welcome package was great. Just wanted to stay in and enjoy the place. The hot tub was amazing. Will definitely return for a relaxing break.

Lovely clean and cosy cottage with friendly owners and great views

This stay was the best break we have ever been on in the UK.

It was simply magical! The hosts were lovely and welcoming and the hot tub was bliss. If I had to be picky, the only thing I would say is that the bedroom stone wall and corners of the room around spotlights were not dusted leaving big spider webs, along with the biggest spiders we’ve ever seen in our lives and we are both terrified of them! Other than that, everything else was perfect!

The Stables was a lovely place to stay, we had a very warm and friendly welcome (with homemade shortbread) The cottage was beautiful and met our needs and was very comfortable.

The copper bath was luxurious. I enjoyed every day we were there, I really did not want to come home.

Facilities within the cottage was excellent very modern and clean, very friendly owners always on hand if needed, fantastic location and dog friendly, in fact it was so good we have already booked again for next year, absolutely fantastic holiday had by myself my partner and our little Jack Russell Milo.

The Stables is one of the best places we have the pleasure to stay at. We loved the hot tub and the Copper bath was pure luxury. There was everything we needed and more. Very comfortable and cosy, can’t wait to go back.

The cottage way beautiful didn’t want to leave. Thank you so much for the bottle of bubbly and home made shortbread. It was so nice. The owners are mega friendly couldn’t do enough. Will definitely be returning and already recommended to family and friends. If there was anything I could say for changing is it’s shame there isn’t a back door to the hot tub. But that’s such a small thing. Overall amazing experience and stay.

A perfect weekend getaway!

Katy and Stuart couldn’t have made us feel more welcome, providing home made shortbread and a bottle Cava in the fridge. They even washed our dogs blankets following a spot of travel sickness on our journey over. We enjoyed some lovely walks, visited the local farm shop/cafe and had an amazing evening meal at the Punch Tapas restaurant (recommended by Katy and Stuart) We will definitely be visiting again at some stage in the future! The couple who own it are extremely welcoming and warm - couldn't fault them or the cottage in any way.

A fantastic relaxing few days, the place was really nice, cosy and homely.

On arrival there was cava in the fridge and homemade shortbread which was very welcoming. Would very much recommend for a relaxing break away.

The cottage was everything we expected and more.

On arrival we were greeted by freshly made shortbread and milk in the fridge including a bottle of bubbly!. the owner was very friendly and the cottage was beautiful. The whole experience was 10/10 from start to finish and this is a lady who takes pride in her cottage and that really shone through. I will 100% be back, I proposed to my partner here and it couldn’t have been anymore perfect for us both. Thank you so much

This is a really lovely little cottage.

It is set in a very picturesque location with very accomidating hosts who are not only very welcoming but are also non intrusive. They privided little treats for us which made us feel at home. The underfloor heating and log burner coupled with the spacious hot tub was a real bonus in the cold weather. They have very freindly horses all around which you can go see. We would deffinatly stay here again and recommend to others :)

What an amazing cottage in a fab area with lovely local walks and suitable for stays all year round.

The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay that much better, lovely home made goodies cupboard staples and bubble in the fridge. The hot tub was just perfect and the cottage has underfloor heating, muilt jet shower and the most amazing bed with lovely views from every angle.

We would highly recommend the stables to stay, myself, husband and two dogs visit Monday 7th Jan for 3 night and we couldn’t be more welcomed.

Before arriving we received a lovely text from the host Katy followed by arriving to some lovely fresh flowers, bread & butter, homemade shortbread and a lovely bottle of chilled bubbly to enjoy whilst relaxing in the hot tub. Looking forward to going back later this year. Thanks Again x

The little cottage as lovely, beautifully appointed with all new stuff.

The owners were lovely- friendly, helpful and they left a welcome pack of bubbly, shortbread and tea! The fresh flowers were a bonus! I would have stayed an extra night (Thursday preceding), but Sykes demanded another booking fee for the extra night- a bit top since the extra night was only £30 and the fee would have doubled this.
