Ideally located just a short distance from the thriving city of Dundee and all the local amenities, as well as the beautiful Broughty Ferry Beach, West Deyne makes for a fabulous getaway for two couples or a family of four wanting to embark on a Scottish adventure with a bit of character.

Step into the property, where you will be greeted by a spacious boot room, ideal for golf clubs, storing bikes and walking equipment after a day of exploring, as well as a cloakroom; perfect for avoiding those morning queues.

Moving through into the glorious entrance hall, you will find two well-presented bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, both served by an immaculate bathroom where you can indulge in a blissful soak in the bath or wash away the day with a refreshing shower.

The designated chef of your group will delight at the well-equipped kitchen where they can take advantage of the double electric ovens and hob, fridge and microwave to create mouth-watering meals, as well as a handy dishwasher for keeping your space tidy!

Gather around the dining table and savour a flavourful meal, as the wine is poured, and plans are made for the days ahead.

After a satisfying meal, retreat to the sofa where you can sip on your favourite tipple as you catch up with your guests.

In the morning, wake-up with a steaming cup of coffee, sitting out in the private gardens as you soak up your peaceful surroundings.

Explore the local area, where you will find an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants to suit any taste and budget, as well as well-stocked convenience stores and supermarkets for picking up any ingredients to recreate your favourite holiday meals.

Venture along the new River Tay promenade over to the remarkable Broughty Castle Museum, a superb 15th-century castle housing a museum spanning four floors with fascinating exhibits, as well as boasting stunning views overlooking the River Tay.

Nearby, you will find Pirate Boats, where you can take to the waters and enjoy spotting the local wildlife of dolphins and seals which frequent the shores.

If you’re looking to relax, head straight for the glorious sands of Broughty Ferry Beach, where you can beachcombe the shores, build sandcastles with the little ones or soak up the sun with your favourite book.

If you don’t fancy driving, why not take a train over to the bustling city of Dundee, where you can peruse eclectic exhibitions at the V&A Dundee, step back in time to explore the city’s rich heritage of jute production at Verdant Works or climb aboard the HMS Unicorn where you can wander the decks of a restored 46-gun Royal Navy warship.

For a getaway to Scotland like no other, secure your stay at West Deyne.

West Deyne is an exceptional property.

It is extremely comfortable, from the bed to the settees, the shower is great and the kitchen well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was great to have plenty of room to store bikes and boots and to hang up coats. It is so well situated, only minutes from the beautiful River Tay with its promenade and cycle path and only a few minutes walk to shops, pubs and the train station. We cycled to Arbroath one day and Invergowrie the next, and you can also cycle around Dundee itself on off road cycle routes! Things not to missed were Glamis Castle and the Verdant Works in Dundee. We also visited St Andrews, Anstruther, Montrose and Dunkeld, but there was so much more we didn’t get around to. Would definitely recommend this property and wouldn’t hesitant to come back in the future.

A beautiful apartment, seconds walk down to the river promenade a short walk in to the town .

Handy for the train station and ideally situated to explore Dundee or over the Tay bridge to drive the coastline of the kingdom of Fife . Then back to relax in a beautifully restored lounge ,comfy beds plenty of storage space and a fully equipped kitchen. It has been such a delight and I hope to return again in the future.
