We had a lovely stay in this comfortable, well-equipped cottage in a great location.

It had everything we needed for a relaxing break, and the owners were very responsive and helpful throughout. We’d happily stay again!

Always wanted to go to Scotland finally get to go and it did not disappoint.

Shotts Cottage was exactly the same fantastic well prepared home away from home everything you could want. The cottage is in a superb location to get around for all that you need or want and made even better being run by an wonderful friendly and welcoming couple Karen and Graeme who really do about your stay. I would highly recommend Shotts Cottage for the property it's location and it's hosts.

Do not hesitate to book this property as it’s a perfect house and just as described in the listing and photos.

High quality furnishings, fixtures and fittings in good condition. . 2 of the double rooms have ceiling fan lights which, came in handy during a heatwave. The bedding and towels are of very good quality and exceptionally clean. The property is all on one level with an extra large bathroom with wet room design shower & remote controlled WC. It’s a real plus for the property & would work if someone is a walking aid /wheelchair user or struggling with reduced mobility. Well equipped kitchen with all plates/cutlery /cooking appliances you need. Good water pressure and hot water. You really need a car as the property isn’t on a bus route and set on its own however, it’s only a short walk to the Spinkhearse retail park where you can get the Park & Ride bus to and from Stirling Town. If you are driving it’s really not far from town & is a good central location to explore this part of Scotland and beyond. We stayed a week for our daughter’s graduation and the lovely owners left a card, some flowers & chocolates for her which, was so thoughtful of them. This shows how caring the owners are towards their guests. We will definitely stay at this lovely house again soon.
