Description

Tucked away on the outskirts of the popular town of Crieff, Perth and Kinross, is this wonderful end-terrace cottage, Greystones Cottage.

Enjoying a fantastic location with easy access to the local amenities and residing near the historically renowned hang man spot, Greystones Cottage is a delightful family-friendly dwelling for couples or a family of four.

Be welcomed into the inviting sitting room, where you can look forward to evenings spent relaxing on the plush seating as your favourite show plays out on the Smart TV.

Rustle up flavourful dishes in the light and airy kitchen/diner, ready to enjoy around the dining table for four, or alfresco out on your private rear garden.

Follow the stairs to the first floor, where you can wash away the day’s adventures with a soak in the bath or freshen up under the overhead shower.

When sleep calls, choose from two tastefully decorated bedrooms, a king-size or a twin and both with plenty of storage.

Explore the town, where you can dine at the welcoming eateries of Station Bar, Delivino, and The Tower Gastro Pub, stock up on essentials at the convenience store, tour The Strathearn Gallery, or test out your swing at the excellent Crieff Golf Club.

An ideal base for those who favour outdoor activities with Archery, 4x4 Driving, horse riding, mountain bike hire, treetop adventures and crazy golf, all nearby at the famous Crieff Hydro Hotel.

Or why not take the kids to the fantastic adventure playground or treat yourself to a relaxing afternoon tea, keen walkers can also embark on the nearby Lady Mary’s Walk which follows the River Earn for 6.5 miles.

For watersports or just a Lochside daytrip, head to St Fillans on Loch Earn a just short drive away.

Next stop is Gleneagles, where you will find The Gleneagles Hotel, with fantastic golf course and spa so you can indulge in a pamper, followed by dinner and drinks at the Golf Inn.

Continue onto Perth, home to the Huntingtower Castle, The Blackwatch Castle & Museum, Perth Racecourse, and the Moncreiffe Hill where you can follow woodland trails and soak up the exceptional views on offer.

Further afield is Stirling, where you can tour the Stirling Castle, Cambuskenneth Abbey, and the Stirling Old Jail.

All this and more awaits at Greystones Cottage.

Good location.

Nice property but agree with other reviews could do with a bit of TLC & upgrade compared to other properties we’ve stayed in.

We had a very pleasant week at Greystones Cottage.

It's well situated and parking wasn't a problem: always got a space just around the corner in Burrell St. Aldi, Co-op and Meadow Inn are nearby. Nice meals and friendly atmosphere at the Inn. Quiet for sleeping and comfortable beds. We had a nice holiday there. William McCairney.

This is a lovely property.

Very well equipped, spotlessly clean and so convenient for everything in town. Only a short walk into the centre and other lovely places to explore nearby. Perhaps some more local info leaflets etc in the guide book would be helpful. Would definitely recommend for a Crieff/ Perthshire stay.
