It’s a lovely place in a great location.

Enjoyed our stay and it was ideal for what we wanted. The accommodation was well laid out, had all the facilities you’d want and was clean and well equipped. The garden was ample with enough room to sit and eat out (we were exceptionally lucky with the weather) and to play a few games on the grass. We played French cricket as we thought that safest. The only negative was the hot water struggled with all of us.There is an electric shower though so everyone who wanted a shower got one but it did mean there was a bit of a queue at times. Saying that we filled it as there was ten of us so that’s obviously a factor. The Clun. Alley is a lovely setting. Beautifully quiet countryside with amazing views. Walks galore along the valley to pretty villages and hamlets. Not so much in the ‘tourist attraction’ sense but there are numerous nice market towns (Ludlow, Leominster, Church Stretton etc.) within easy reach. It is on a ‘busy’ road. I hesitate to say that because it’s not busy in the sense most of us would think but it’s not a quiet village lane. If you want to walk anywhere you do have to walk down it for a few hundred metres. On the plus side it’s easy to get to - no navigating down miles of twisty, steep, single track roads. It’s a great place and we really enjoyed our stay. The only reason we wouldn’t return is that I think our family group will outgrow it.

Wayside House was a lovely place to relax with friends.

The owners were quick to respond and kindly let us arrive earlier than expected. The house was spotless and had most everything we needed. It was comfortable and spacious for six of us. The only downside was its proximity to the road, so that when the windows were open it would be quite noisy at times. The customer service with Sykes was terrible. They never responded to any of my questions. I would suggest you contact Wayside Camping directly, as they were great.
