Unfortunately not up to expectations for Sykes.

Not as clean as you would expect, dust, cobwebs and cooker oven not nice at all. No information folder giving emergency phone numbers, about the area, etc etc. Gardens not very welcoming, algea covered furniture and lots of weeds. Plagued by small Flys all week. Barry Island however is fantastic. We would come back to the area but not to this listing.

The house was the perfect base to explore Barry Island and local amenities like supermarkets, shops etc.

.. It was so spacious and spotlessly clean. However there are a couple of suggestions/ and one small complaint to share. Suggestion wise, we felt the property needed more storage for the bedrooms and kitchen, especially the fridge/freezer as to stay for a week it was very tight and the clutter/bedding in the wardrobes meant very limited space to put belongings. Small complaint- the garden. It did not appear anything like advertised, grass area completely overgrown, weeds everywhere, the table and bench is in a pretty poor condition and the edging of the decking was completely hanging off so the garden was unusable really. Overall we felt the property was well worth the money and were happy with our stay but just wanted to bring up these couple of things. I have attached pictures of how the garden was when we arrived for your reference. Thanks for having us

This property is always spotless, has everything we need.

Ideal location for us to visit friends in Barry. We have used it a couple of times and it would be our first choice for any future visits.
