Ideal spot for exploring south Wales.

A lovely property, quiet but within walking distance of Llantwit Major.

Very well equipped, everything we needed. Our second visit and we will be back!

Lovely comfortable cottage with a generous welcome basket of mainly homemade/ local produce.

House was warm, clean and well equipped. Parking right outside the door. The owner respected our privacy but responded promptly when I contacted her and was very helpful. We loved the local beaches with interesting cliffs and rock pools, lighthouse and castle. Barry Island with long sandy beach and tourist facilities only a few miles away. Altogether a great week in a lovely venue.

Beautiful setting on a farm, up close and personal with cows and chickens and in ooen countryside but close to local village and not too far from Cardiff of Bridgend.

Cottage was beautiful and very well kept and spotlessly clean. Owners live in attached property and we're very friendly and approachable. House had everything you could possibly need and more we cooked a full meal for 5 adults one evening and had absolutely every cooking implement we needed. Would very happily recommend this property and have already booked a return trip

An altogether "five-star" experience.

The house was lovely, immaculately clean, warm, very well-equipped (especially the kitchen!), the beds were incredibly comfortable and Phil and Caroline (the owners) couldn't have been nicer or more helpful (they had two lovely dogs as well!).

We had a fantastic week at Ty Coets and the owners are very helpful and friendly.

The house is spotless and roomy with everything you need in the kitchen to cook and wash. Having 2 showers was ideal for our group of 4 adults. Our dog settled in straight away and we had use of the fenced garden for him and us. The location is perfect for exploring the Glamorgan coast on foot or on bike. There are plenty of way marked trails and footpaths in the area which made our week very enjoyable The blue plaque trail of Llantwit village is a must along with a visit to the much loved church which has 3 celtic crosses on display. Added bonuses were the local damson trees which were full of fruit during our stay and the fossils found on Llantwit beach.. Ty Coets is in a lovely quiet spot and is a perfect location for exploring south Wales. We hope to return again.

Gorgeous little cottage with everything provided that you could need - only need to bring your food.

Sat Nav is spot on for location and really easy to find. We stopped there as a base for a concert in Cardiff and used the train at Llantwit Major ( free parking) to travel in and out and it couldnt have been easier. Have already recommended to friends for watching rugby matches etc.

One of the best holidays we’ve had.

The cottage was homely, comfy and well equipped, the hosts were lovely as was the welcome basket on our arrival. We loved the area and was lucky with the weather so was able to enjoy a trip to a different nearby stunning beach or nature reserve everyday for 2 weeks! We’ll definitely visit again sometime. Thank you very much to the hosts.

Very comfortable cottage with everything we needed.

Very accessible to good walks and the attractive small town. We were lucky to have perfect weather and made use of all the local information the owners had provided.

Helpful and available when required. The property was very clean and well equipped, just like a second home. A lovely welcome hamper greeted us on arrival. The location is both wonderfully remote in the countryside, yet mere minutes away from towns and facilities. A short drive takes you to some clean sandy beaches on the Jurassic coast. Great for fossil hunting! Would certainly recommend the cottage.

The hosts were very welcoming, and there was a generous basket of foodstuff when we arrived.

Unfortunately due to family problems we needed to leave a day early.

However we were very satisfied with the accommodation. It was extremely well equipped, very clean and everything which we needed for our short stay was provided. The ‘Welcome pack’ was outstanding and very much appreciated. Thank you.

Lovely welcome basket which was much appreciated.- the Welsh cakes and jam were delicious!!The mattress on the double bed was a little thin and hard and could probably do with replacing . Would definitely recommend as a base for exploring the fabulous Glamorgan coast.

Nice peaceful location, but within a mile of facilities. Owners friendly, pleasant and helpful. Welcome pack the best we've had. Actual house had everything, was well maintained and spotless. Very roomy as well, and comfortable. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Accommodation doesn’t come any better than this!

All you need for your stay in beautiful Wales . Easy half hour walk into Llanwit Major. Many fantastic country walks. Very friendly owners. Lovely!

Lovely property .

Ideal for small family or a couple who prefer more space. Plenty to do nearby. We had a great break enjoying the coast path and the lovely surrounding area. Cardiff is also easily accessed by train from the station in the village. We would happily recommend it. Owner lives in adjacent property.

The accommodation was in fact a whole house, very suitable for longer stays.The location in the countryside outside Llantwit Major was very beautiful and quiet. A good starting point to explore the environment, including the beautiful coast. The owners of the accommodation were very friendly and helpful. An excellent place to stay!

Wonderful place to stay.

Especially welcoming with children, baby and dog. Hugely welcoming upon arrival, superbly located and would love to come back. A home-from-home. The little garden was a delight for my children and at no point were they ever made to feel unwelcome, even playing and singing outside :-)
