The property was pretty much as listed.

It was super spacious and certainly plenty of room for up to 12 people. We had 12 people for a long weekend and everybody had a great time! Plenty of bedroom space for each person/couple and the games room was a particular favourite for a couple of kids that were with us for the weekend too! The garden is big which our lab puppy loved and the hot tub was a welcome addition especially in the evenings. A couple of downsides, there isn’t much sitting space in the living area if you do have 12 people. Some of us were sat in the floor each evening as a dining chair can only be sat on for so long. The kitchen could do with some more equipment for cooking. As we brought some of our own equipment, we were ok, but there’s not very much oven space if cooking for 12. I would say the kitchen is more catered for takeaways where there are plenty of plates, cutlery etc. Could do with a few more tall glasses as there were only 2 and the rest were small tumblers. Lastly, there was nothing to clean up with other than a mop, which made it trickier to tidy up the house before we left. So would definitely recommend to anybody coming to bring a dustpan and brush and plenty of cleaning wipes/kitchen roll etc.

As a group of 6 mature ladies having a weekend break we felt the accomodation was excellent and we felt comfortable.

A few observations though: Ensuite bathroom had an awful damp smell and lights hanging from the ceiling they where covered in masking tape. Bedrooms where spacious but missing just a few items to enhance the stay *Mirror *A space to hang clothes * Chair As the lodge can sleep 12 there were not enough chairs for the table inside or the garden(more later). A place to put coats would be great possible under stairs boot room!! Or next to down stairs loo. Garden was lovely hot tub fabulous but again seating was tight for 6 and it was missing a dining area bbq was a surprise a welcome one but we couldn't st it to light!! All little niggles that didn't distract from amazing stay. Games room wasn't used but we did have a great air hockey competition

We had a really enjoyable stay here.

The property is generously sized and comfortably accommodated our group of nine, along with two small dogs. One of the first things you notice when you walk in is the arcade games, which were a brilliant addition and something we ended up using every day. The air hockey table in the living room was another big hit, particularly with the teenagers in our group. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed, and we really appreciated the lovely selection of welcome food items that had been left for us. Outside, there is a good-sized garden with a hot tub, which we thoroughly enjoyed during our stay. The house has lots of character, with each bedroom featuring striking artwork inspired by Greek gods. It gives the property a fun and distinctive feel and makes it a little different from your typical holiday rental. Having a toilet on every floor was also extremely useful, particularly for anyone who might find stairs difficult. The location worked really well for us too. Glastonbury is only around a 10-minute drive away and has a great selection of restaurants, cafés and places to explore. There were just a few things that could be improved. The two bedrooms on the top floor don't have blinds on the Velux windows, so they become very light early in the morning – blackout blinds would make a big difference. There was also an unpleasant smell coming from the top-floor bathroom throughout our stay, which would be worth investigating. We also experienced a power cut that affected the living room and Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, the fuse box was inside a locked cupboard, and it took a couple of hours to obtain the access code so that we could reset it. Leaving the code somewhere accessible for guests would make situations like this much easier to resolve. Overall, though, these were relatively small issues in what was a very enjoyable stay. It's a spacious, characterful and well-equipped property with plenty to keep a large group entertained. We would happily recommend it, particularly for families or groups looking for somewhere fun and a little different close to Glastonbury.
