No. 2 New Cottages

This was our 2nd stay at new cottage Bosherston.

It is a real home from home in this most beautiful part of the world. Great enclosed garden for dogs and perfect location for one of the best beaches in wales. It is equipped with everything you need to cater and do laundery at home but is not full of gadget appliances. It felt welcoming and nostalgic, almost like going to visit your grandparents place when you were young.

Beautiful cottage, stunning location.

Brilliant to be back in the area after many years for our Silver wedding anniversary. Lovely welcome pack from the owner on arrival. The property could benefit from a really good deep clean, we did however find the bedding and toilets very clean though. Would we stay here again ... yes 100% Would we recommend to others ... yes 100%

Great cottage and a great location

A lovely warm cosy cottage in a great area for walking straight from the door.

It was also ideal for exploring this part of Pembrokeshire. It was very doggy friendly with a big enclosed garden. The village pub was very friendly and served good food. Thanks for a great break and also for the welcome package.

The cottage was very cosy.

It was suprisingly warm despite the freezing temperatures outside. Perfect for a family of four to relax after spending time exploring the many beautiful beaches nearby. Our dog and kids enjoyed playing in the large secure garden. The welcome package was a nice touch too.

This is a dream cottage for active dog owners like us and those active small families who like to explore daily the superb countryside/seaside/lakes/woodland that is immediately accessible to it.

It's not posh and full of expensive white carpets and furniture (been there done it - a nightmare with young family and pets! ) it's practical, warm and comfortable to live in and easy to maintain. So all in all our stay (November - very cold outside but dry) at No2 was 5 star plus in every respect and we wouldn't hesitate to visit again thank you

This cottage is in the perfect location.

It’s a short walk to the lilly ponds and then onto the beach. The local pub is a couple of minutes walk. We had fantastic walks and a week of exploring more of Pembrokeshire (by car). The cottage is lovely and warm and the garden was perfect for our dog. We had a leaky tap but the owner was quick to respond to our issue. Great week - thanks

What a superb last minute find!

Lovely quaint little cottage with amazing gardens for the dogs to play in. Clean & tidy, and very cosy (a few spiders but who cares, we are in the country!) Lovely welcome pack, local pub, Lily ponds, beach… what more could you want? The only downside was the seating in the lounge was a bit uncomfortable but we would definitely stay again.

Another excellent week in this great cottage.

We love the location, which is perfect for coastal walks and proximity to the bus route. We hope to return

This was our 4th visit to the cottage(that says it all) and as always very clean and comfortable love it here and very safe for our little dog, welcome pack very acceptable .

Nice cottage with pleasant views at the back and great location for the beach.

Comfortable beds and decent bathrooms. Downside is old uncomfortable furniture in the living room and tiny fridge in the kitchen, which is fine for two people but inadequate for a family. Eat out most nights or you'll be back and forth to Tesco.

Fantastic garden, we loved it as always.

Great location for the beach and woodland walks.

We booked this cottage because of its location and wide variety of walks from the door, well we were not disappointed, miles of coast, sandy beaches, woods, countryside.

Easy access to walk into Stackpoles Lilly Ponds NT was the icing on the cake for long evening walks when everyone else had left for the day. The cottage is cosy well equipped and maintained, the welcome pack was lovely. The photos of the garden don’t do it justices, front and back with loads of space for the dog to run around. I can see why this place gets booked up early, we will be back.

This lovely little cottage is thoughtfully set up and provisioned.

We had everything we needed for basic cookery and meals, and wer very comfortable for our stay. The welcome pack was much appreciated!

Lovely cosy cottage, well equipped and clean.

Beautiful area. Really enjoyed our stay. The beach and lily ponds were very easily reached on foot and were great for us and our whippets. Local pub 2 minutes walk.

As usual a warm welcome as you walk through the door.

This cottage has the most wonderful atmosphere. Always clean and tidy, beds comfortable and clean. Its good to have a TV in the lounge and one in the bedroom and of course WFI.. Welcome pack always a bonus. Our little dog loves the large garden ,home from home as well for her. We have booked for 2025 already as we wouldn't want to miss our yearly visit to Bosherton. Always bless the day we found this place.

Small areas that need attention.

Blind in bedroom stuck up with Elephant tape. Broken bedside cabinet trim. Property does have a damp issue but didn't put us off. Would be good to have the garden umbrella reinstated as it was very hot and no shade in garden so limited time that could be spent outside which was a shame as garden is best feature of property. Appreciated the welcome pack.

Lovely cottage, everything we needed for cooking.

Absolutely beautiful enclosed garden for our dog. So peaceful and lovely comfy bed. We are already looking to return.

Super property in a gorgeous location.

Perfect for hiking or if the weather is inclement visiting places of interest around the area. Lovely welcome pack left which was much appreciated. Friendly but not intrusive neighbors. Highly recommended.

Just a minor detail, when it was very windy, it was drafty sitting by the front door.

Perhaps a curtain hung there would help to cut the draft and keep the heat in.

What a lovely cottage, perfect for our week away (1adult, 2kids 11&13), thank you.

We could walk to Broadhaven through the ponds, and also ended up visiting Pembroke castle, Heatherton and Oakwood, but the beach was the best!). The pub in the village is lovely too, very tasty food about 2min walk. The only thing I think the cottage lacked was a clothes dryer for hanging clothes up (which couldn’t be tumbled dried) when it was raining so you couldn’t use the washing line. As a parent I always end up doing a wash on holiday and it was raining when I did so and there was nowhere to hang clothes. Otherwise thank you for a lovely stay.

This was our 3rd visit and we have booked already for next year.

The cottage had some refurbishment since our last visit in 2002, creating a separate dining room and lounge .The exposure of the fireplace and bread oven making it even more attractive. The atmosphere of the cottage welcomes you. The cleanliness throughout top notch and the welcome pack always well received. The very safe garden for our dog gives peace of mind and adds more enjoyment to the relaxing and peaceful surroundings. Looking forward to visiting again next year.

Cosy little cottage.

The owners kindly left us bacon,eggs,rolls and Welsh cakes. Large secure garden great for dogs. Great location for beautiful beaches and dog walks around the lakes. Would definitely go again.

Very pleased with this well equipped, comfortable cottage, in excellent location, with added extra of breakfast provisions to start us off, making for a lovely warm welcome.

We stay in this property every year.

The location is superb, we love the large enclosed garden for the dog(s) which is also a great sun trap. It was a real nice surprise to see they’ve made improvements to the inside of the house as the lounge/dining area previously wasn’t too comfortable for more than 2 people. Would definitely recommend this property and will of course, book again.

Lovely cottage in a great location, with the bonus of a garden to spend time in when you return after a day walking the coastal path.

Facilities to enable recycling for those staying in the cottage would be an added bonus.

This was our second stay at new cottage, it's the perfect spot for a peaceful break, with the new beach and lily ponds just a short walk away.

The dogs loved the long walks from the door and the large enclosed garden. We had a lovely welcome pack along with a nice clean and warm cottage. We have not been to this area for over thirty years and having such a lovely little cottage made our holiday

Had an enjoyable week the cottage was ideally situated for walking, Approx a mile from Broadhaven beach.

The cottage was comfortable with all the basic requirements. If I was to make any negative comments there was a mismatch of heating elements but none of the heating items worked in the kitchen or bathroom so a little cold for February, although this wouldn’t stop me from staying at this cute little cottage, some may find it a little cold at certain times of year. The garden is dog friendly and large, our dogs absolutely loved the garden and wanted to spend time laying out in the sun. I love Pembroke and would love to return to this cottage.

Have to say I fell in love with this lovely cottage and it's dog friendly amazing gardens.

A very generous welcome pack was a lovely and unexpected gift from the owner. The cottage is a really welcome home from home, providing everything you would expect and more and the laundry room means no grubby washing to take home. The beds are super comfy, I can't remember the last time I slept so well. All rooms are bright with plenty of storage, all neighbours are super friendly with a lovely cafe and local Pub two minutes walk up the road. No need to drive to the beach, we walked to a different beach every day and the Lily ponds are all walking distance and my little Jack Russell had the time of his life being welcome pretty much everywhere. If I had to be really picky the fridge door is catching and needs a good push to make sure it's closed and a comfy chair as well as the sofa would be a welcome extra, but as I to that's being really picky. Overall the Cottage, it's owner and the surrounding are gets a 10 out of 10 from me and I hope to be back in the new year.

Great little cottage with excellent garden front and rear, wonderful peaceful location, if the front of property was painted would look absolutely awesome but that's a very minor point and did not distract from our wonderful stay and will gladly re-book for next year, owners replied promptly to messages and our stay was fantastic

This is a little treasure of a cottage.

In a fabulous spot. Lots of walks, gentle and energetic. The coastline is gorgeous..as good if not better than Cornwall. The cottage had absolutely everything we needed. The welcome package was lovely. The village is superb. Great food at the pub a few steps away and we never got to try The Olde Worlde cafe, but it looked popular. The lily ponds on the doorstep are magical. The cottage has a large front garden and a shady rear garden with views over the fields. Internally the cottage is of an era and I would personally be itching to give it a makeover.. but that might put it out of my price bracket! We would most certainly go again.

Had a great time, really enjoyed it it was perfect for a getaway.

Fantastic location.

Cosy, clean cottage. Garden was great for dogs. Bosherton and the surrounding area is idyllic. Mould around Bath could be easily sorted and another comfy chair would have been helpful. However, all in all it was money well spent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Have already booked for next year.

Cracking location, lovely enclosed garden for dogs.

Bed really comfortable and a good powerful shower. However the mould around bath was unacceptable and the plague of flying ants in living room and downstairs bedroom, living room quite small with restricted space for comfortable seating.

Generally nice property, could do with a bit of updating in kitchen/bathroom.

Dogs loved the garden. Would suggest mentioning the firing range in the cottage listing as although we knew about it before we went some people may well be put off by the noise especially when it is being used at night.

Love this cottage such a lovely atmosphere,clean and comfortable great for our little dog Pepsi safe garden and she even made friends with the cows and calves in the field.

Welcome pack very welcoming.Managed to do online shop and that came on time.We both adore this cottage ,have already booked for next year this will be our 3rd visit, roll on next June.

booked for second time. Overall cleanliness is good however bathroom tiles and grouting of tiles and bath are mouldy and make showering not pleasant. This could be easily corrected to the same standard of cleanliness throughout the cottage. Was really disappointing from this aspect.

This is a little gem, thoroughly enjoyed holiday.

Garden safe for dogs and big enough to have a run around. Located within easy walking distance to Bosherton Lily ponds and beaches, didn't use car for 4 days as there is plenty to explore. Cottage has everything you need, would love to stay again. I felt very safe as I am single in the cottage and the area.

This is the most wonderful location.

A deceptively spacious cottage with every conceivable convenience thoughtfully and generously provided. Linda’s kindness knows no bounds and this together with the fantastic walks, beaches and fabulous views make this a must to those who enjoy getting out & exploring.

A great little cottage, situated 3 minutes from the beach by car.

Comfortable and homely inside with lots of garden space which the dogs loved. . We had a fantastic few days away, the kids loved it. Already recommended it to friends and hope to stay again.

The property was as described.

ideally situated.the ground floor bedroom was rather musty but not a huge problem.the hot water did not work on the last two days and we left a message with caretaker,again no big deal.thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Cottage located next to a firing range so subjected to daily barrage of shelling and rifle fire which could still be heard after 10pm one night.

So loud whole house shook. The dog was terrified and tried to hide herself away & we decided to return home a day early. Very disappointed as had we known we would not have booked a holiday here. A refund for the Friday would have been nice. spent

Delightful cottage in a lovely area in close proximity to some wonderful beaches.

Large enclosed garden ideal for our dog with seating area for ourselves. Village has a pub serving excellent food and a cafe with outside seating area for light refreshments as delicious cream scones. Will definitely return next year.

First time visiting beautiful Pembroke.

What a little gem the cottage was.lovely, spotlessly clean cottage.Beds really comfortable and the linen pristine .The welcome pack was a lovely surprise.The garden was very secure for our little dog and I didn't have to worry about her escaping,it backed on to fields and we were visited most days by the cows, a real country feel.We shall be returning soon for another visit.Just loved it.

Bedrooms and kitchen were lovely but the living room/dining room looks a bit tired, could do with updating.

Replace some of the sharp knives and scissors as they were blunt. No information book

Light bulbs out not the right bulbs to replace Chairs rickety and we had to tighten them up No information book with the cottage only a contact no but no phone signal

Lovely place to stop.

Garden spacious and well kept, cottage quaint and charming, and very well kept. Great bath & shower downstairs, just brilliant for after a day on the beach just down the road!

Warm comfortable cosy cottage.

Warm phone call from owner Linda prior to us leaving home with clear instructions Re key. Location of cottage is excellent and we were able to visit both north and south pembroke easily. So near to beautiful beach and headland of south broadhaven and over the headland to barafundle and stackpole quay and bosherton pools. Really lovely . Cottage is within walking short distance to local pub St Govan Inn where again a warm welcome given. Also a warm thanks received from owner Simon on leaving for home. We have already booked our return stay for next year. With thanks . We are so glad we had already booked

2 New Cottages was such a lovely cottage.

It was extremely comfortable and well equipped. It was in a peaceful location and great for exploring the lily ponds, Stackpole and St Govan's. The online photos do not do justice to the garden especially the garden at the back. It has a lovely sunny position and backs onto a large field which at the time of our stay had cows and calves in it. It was so pleasant to sit there. I would recommend this cottage and I would love to return and maybe stay 2 weeks next time.

2, New Cottages is a very welcoming ,peaceful & comfortable place to stay.

The garden is as the picture shows & more. My dog & I enjoyed the walks straight from the door to the lovely beach & around the lily ponds. I would certainly stay here again.

Cottage kitchen could have done with a few more items and utensils

We both thought the cottage was perfectly placed for great walks and lovely beaches so close.

It was a peaceful village with a very relaxing atmosphere. Loved the local countryside.

We loved the cottage It was really homely and our dog liked the large well fenced garden.

The cottage is in a wonderful position in a beautiful area of Pembrokeshire.

It was comfortable and well equipped. It is old and could do with some TLC, but we expected that. It does sleep 4 but there is not enough room in the lounge for comfortable seating for 4 adults, although this did not affect us being a couple. However, not having a dog, we were immediately aware of the dog hairs on the rugs. I tried to hoover with the equipment provided, but the hoover was clogged and had no suction. I did not feel inclined to empty it, it should not have been left like that. This did let the cleanliness of the cottage down.

Local pub a stones throw away. Nice walk to the beach through the Lilly ponds. Spotlessly clean cottage ideal for our week stay. Washing machine and tumble drier a great plus. Welcome pack a lovely touch. Super friendly host, would highly recommend.

The details of the cottage were accurately described and on the whole met our expectations.

It was a little dated but in keeping with the character of the cottage. It had everything we needed for a short break and the gardens were perfect for our dogs. Would recommend it to our friends.

Excellent garden. Could do with some garden furniture to make it even better. Beware if you are tall though, good head height in rooms but low doorways. Overall, a very nice property and very, very well located for the pub, lily ponds, coastal walk and beaches. All easily walkable.

This cottage is set in a lovely location with good outdoor space, also great scenic views.

The living space we feel is adequate for two adults, maybe two children, unfortunately the furnishings let it down in living room, we do not consider it comfortable. The deco could be improved on, also some areas need some minor DIY.

Lovely cottage, spot on for us as a small family and lovely location.

The cottage is in a beautiful scenic setting and very well equipped.

Lovely big gardens for the dogs and dog friendly local pub and tea rooms too. There was no mobile signal - another plus!! Thoroughly enjoyed the holiday and visited lots of gorgeous beaches and places and people were exceptionally friendly and helpful everywhere we went.

This cottage is at a wonderful location for any keen walker especially if accompanied by a dog.

Cottage may be a bit small for family of 4 but for me with just my dog is excellent. Very well equipped and very close to good dog friendly pub and also a small good café for snack lunches.

Welcome pack was much appreciated, loved my early morning walks with my dogs, just us the birds singing & the smell of wild garlic!

Cottage was well thought out & tastefully decorated!

The location of this cottage is exceptional for its tranquillity and its convenience: there is access by foot to Bosherton Lily Ponds and The Stackpole Estate.

It is a short walk to the Pembrokeshire coastal path and to the very pretty Broad Haven Bay with its sandy beach. It is only a three minute walk to either the very popular cafe providing afternoon teas and daytime meals or to the equally popular pub for evening meals. The bus stop for the Coastal Cruiser, the Pembrokeshire summer service bus linking Bosherton to the other coastal locations,is located a minute from the cottage.

Beautiful location.

Lovely little cottage. Stunning beach 1 mile away - excellent for runners and dog walkers. Nice pub about 200M away. No local shop so do take basic provisions with you.

The cottage was very charming and in a perfect spot, with views of gardens and fields both front and back.

We were greeted with a some supplies for breakfast and easy to find keys and instructions. The beds were very comfy and the bathroom was roomy. We had some lovely circular walks right on the doorstep and the local pub provided a welcome refuelling after our exploring. We would definitely book this cottage again.

We booked this cottage in Bosherston for our family to stay close to us.

It was a lovely cottage and enjoyed by the family. The one slight downside was the heating, as they came in the cold weather, the heating didn’t really warm the place up very well. On the plus side, was the food left for them to enjoy, that was an unexpected surprise and very welcome. Definitely would stay again, just come in the warmer weather.

The cottage was OK for 2 adults but the down stairs would be very small for 4 or 3 adults or a family.

The heating in winter is not enough. There is an electric fire and a small oil filled radiator in the sitting room together with an extra fan heater and oil filled radiator neither of which work. Also it need a lamp in the sitting room instead of the harsh overhead light. Beds were comfortable, bathroom could do with a little TLC. Kitchen was well equipped and it was nice to have a washing machine plus a tumble dryer (only the washing machine was mentioned in the description) The area is amazing but I would choose alternative accommodation next time if I was coming with more people.

The only problem was the heating.

It was so cold the only form of heating was an electric wood burner that blew out cold air. All the other radiators switched themselves off when a certain temperature was reached and it got cold again. If you are renting out a property in winter it needs to have adequate heating. We did not use the upstairs of the cottage just so we could keep the downstairs warm. It is such a shame as everything else was lovely.

Really good location, between a loverly beach, headlands, coastal walks and a lake walk.

Perfect for the dog and the family. House was comfortable and offered everything you needed, thoughtful touches from the owner made it a good holiday from the outset. Weather was good which meant we could enjoy the garden too
