What guests are saying
This is the most expensive property we have stayed in at freshwater east on arrival key safe open with keys showing back door open with spare key in.
Walked in was so dissatisfied All crockery is of very poor standard beakers look old on the inside so we bought two for our use while we were there. There was absolutely no cleaning products apart from some washing up liquid so all these had to be purchased. Only a dustpan and brush to sweep floors so got a brush. Tea pot lid loose bin lid broken. There was no information pack at all giving information about the property local drs etc. nothing to tell you how to work tv. There was a tiny note to tell you to put rubbish in bin outside. The sofas were very uncomfortable old and dirty. My husband has Parkinson’s and uses both hands to use stairs the top edge of the stair bannister was filthy so tried to wash them. Your picture of the property shows a nice bench but it does not reflect it now as it’s old and needs attention..Bed uncomfortable . This property needs a thorough clean re decorating and better furnishings etc. would definitely not recommend it to anyone very disappointed
We arrived 26th June 2026 the Owner didn't leave us any information as to where to leave the rubbish we don't have any note left for anything from no one.
We found out thy picked up every two weeks We left 2.black bags in side by the back door whe we left. The House is Described as a Cottage We would Describe it as a terraced House in just liveable state cooker very Old be we didn't not have to ues We didn't need it. The kitchen sink had a plug with the chain broken off. The bathroom sink had a plug with no chain atall. The are very dangerous no handrail Deadley for Children or Old people The clothesline in the back garden has a rusty pole and when my wife Was hanging some clothes on the Line the top of the rusty Old pole Came off just missed my wife's head The photo outside the House is an Old photo not showing a lot there's a Bench thats falling a part very old. So your over hall description of the House is Deceiving.
The accommodation is basic but a good location.
However our stay in the property was not enjoyable due to a fly infestation in both of the bedrooms, which took a lot of effort to sort out. The property did not have any cleaning equipment to deal with this nor anyone nearby to help us.
