  • "We really appreciated the extra mile that the owners went to for us, such as providing a lovely goodie bag full of milk, bread, tea, coffee etc."

It really made us feel welcome. Thank you!

  • "Lovely comfy stay at Ty Canol kitchen was one of the best equipped we have had in all the years we have been going to different cottages."

Bed really comfy and good wardrobe space available. It had a very comfortable feeling and was in easy reach of plenty of places to visit. Lovely village and the pub was literally on your doorstep although we didn’t eat there it seemed very popular . I would recommend this cottage to family and friends and would not hesitate to stay there again too.

  • "Very well equiped and nicely decorated making it comfortable and cosy."

Bread, milk, butter and cake made us feel welcome. The smart TV was a great bonus to catch up with our favourite programs. A pub and a tea room in the village make eating choices very agreeable. Less than 2 miles away, as well as the coastal path, are quiet beaches, no need to drive but plenty to explore if you want to. Good shower but could do with a bit of TLC to avoid leaking, an easy bemol to overcome with an extra towel on the floor.

  • "We had a lovely week at Ty Canol."

Mathry is a quiet village and so close to the coast and all that there is to explore. The cottage was a great find. The facilities were good and the welcome groceries amazing! Lots of lovely locally produced and purchased foods.

  • "Lack of sitting places outside was a shame, but we were aware of this."

The proximity of an excellent pub (100 yards away) was a great advantage. Thoughtful provision of every need, plus free basket of local produce on arrival, were much appreciated. Plus, although we may have been lucky, it was wonderfully quiet throughout our stay.
