I enjoyed a pleasant seven-night stay at Blaenpant Bach.

I was greeted on arrival by one of the friendly owners, who quickly helped me resolve problems with wi-fi and heating. The owner's sister was also helpful in making sure the heating was working. The accommodation is well situated, being a couple of minutes drive from the main road along the coast. There's a lovely view of the garden and the sea beyond from the sitting room and bedroom. It was generally quiet although there was more traffic than I expected for a rural location and vehicles tended to race past. Barking dogs nearby were also a bit of a nuisance but they barked only for a few times each day. Although generally homely and clean, a few areas could do with attention: - The freezer is badly in need of defrosting. - Some window frames need repainting. - The three information folders contained a jumble of information, much of it duplicated, that could do with being reorganised into just one folder. - The bathroom light was a bit dim. Overall, I think the accommodation was value for money and I enjoyed my holiday.

Lovely peaceful stay at the cottage, which was cosy and comfortable.

Beautiful views from the cottage and it's a great location for visiting surrounding areas. Newport is a short walk from the cottage around (15 mins) or a 5 minute car journey.

Not having a car we were concerned about Blaenpant being a mile from Newport , we normally stay in town .

We need not have worried it was such a peaceful place with wonderful views and there was a pleasant off road path to avoid the busier main road . Altogether we were very happy with our stay even though it was a little far from the Pub ! Thank you .
