The Barn at Harrolds Farm

This cottage was beautiful.

The garden was spacious and enclosed for the dog. The cottage was very clean. We had great cookies waiting for us on arrival and fresh flowers. The beds were comfortable. I would highly recommend this accommodation. The owner was lovely and sent messages to check we had everything and explained where the cottage was. Would definitely return :)

The property owner was very welcoming and helpful.

The property was extremely well equipped. It was a little dusty in places ie under beds and units but on the whole it was very good. We would be pleased to visit again. Sat nav tells you to turn left too soon! Go probably another 800 yards after Morry farm and then into Harrolds farm driveway on the left.

We had a fantastic stay at Harrolds Farm in Pembrokeshire and would highly recommend it.

From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm and friendly welcome from Alyson, which immediately made us feel at home. The facilities were excellent and had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The huge garden space was a real highlight, giving the children plenty of room to run around and play. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy some quality family time. A beautiful location, fantastic facilities and such a lovely, welcoming host — we will definitely stay at Harrolds Farm again!

This is a fantastic property and my family of 5 (and 2 dogs) were very lucky to stay for one week in 2026’s Sunny May Half Term.

Very peaceful patch - surrounded by Pembrokeshire countryside - with several friendly sheep, and even a couple of horses just outside the barn door, to say hello to every morning. Beaches, towns, pubs, fish and chip shops all just a short drive away. Plenty of room inside. Clean upon arrival, and comfy beds. There’s even a piano, in which our 11yo hammered away at tunelessly throughout the week. Would recommend to all and happily return to anytime of the year. One of Britain’s loveliest areas, and this is an amazing location from which to explore.

A warm welcome from the owner Alyson. The house offered everything you could want and was very comfortable. One small niggle was a poor internet connection but this didn’t spoil the experience. Highly recommended

Our dogs loved it and the paddock they got to run around in. Ideal also for our day trips as it was right in the middle. Highly recommend.

Had a fantastic break.

The bungalow was lovely and clean. There was a welcome pack for us when we arrived from a long journey of all the basics as well as cookies and milk to have with a cup of tea. It was perfect for family and dogs. Sitting in front of a wood burner with the dogs was lovely. Would highly recommend and will most certainly be booking again. One of the best breaks we have had. We booked The Barn at Harrolds Farm last minute.

It's a long way from where we live but it was well worth the drive. The barn is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Alyson has thought of everything - it's a home away from home. She is a brilliant host and made us feel very welcome. If you want to be somewhere quiet but close to amenities then it's perfect. We had two children with us and were able to find things to do within 15-20 minutes drive. We would love to go back again.

Our host Alyson was really welcoming as always.

Alyson left us some delicious cookies and milk which was very welcome after our journey. The barn is so spacious and comfortable and everything was provided for us. The beds are comfy and there's lots of seating in the main lounge. Alyson keeps the garden to a beautiful standard and it lovely to sit out looking at the views. There's plenty to do just a short car ride away and some walks straight from the barn. This was our third visit and we hope to go again. We can highly recommend the Barn.

Fantastic place to stay lovely and quite great for children we have stayed here 3 times now and alyson is a fantastic host.

The location is right for local attractions within 10 minutes to 30 minutes The cottage is big and spacious everything you need to relax, it felt like home.

A wonderful property, we had a fabulous holiday and hope to return in the future.

Nothing was to much trouble and we were made to feel very welcome.

This is a superb spot for tranquility and being at ease with nature.

Many Pembrokeshire beauty spots within a short drive and good walks. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. Not a truer word said for the brilliant host Alyson. This is only the second time we have been to the barn mainly because it`s always been booked , it is such a wonderful place to spend a holiday you are not too far from shops , places of interest and of course there is Heatherton ideal if you have kids to keep amused there are plenty to do for the adults too.

The barn is spacious everything you need to make your holiday an enjoyable one, spotlessly clean and the welcome pack is a welcome bonus. Hopefully during your stay you will meet Alyson the owner she is a lovely lady ready to help if needed and her dog Murphy isn`t usually far behind her. The Barn is a very comfortable property in a peaceful no through road just 15 minutes from Tenby.

The Barn is well equipped with everything we needed for the week we were there. Little touches left in the cottage by the owner such as fresh flowers, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and cookies were a lovely surprise. We felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. The outlook one way is over the well maintained garden to the paddock with a few sheep, the outlook the other way is over an equally well maintained garden that catches the afternoon/evening sun. A great spot for a glass of wine and a good book after several hours of walking earlier in the day. I would highly recommend this property.

Having recently stayed for a week at The Barn, we are happy to provide a review.

The Barn access upon arrival, was by lockbox with a code. the Barn is down a track about 1/2 mile long, with some 4 properties in the vicinity, with the owner Alyson, who is lovely, in a home attached to the Barn. The location is very quiet and was what we had hoped for. It has a paddock with 6 sheep adjacent to the front garden and the rear garden is overlooked by the neighbouring properties. Both the front and back gardens are shared with the owners property, but we only saw Alyson coming via the front pathway and she was rarely seen in our week there. The Barn is spacious, with a large kitchen that Alyson mentioned that she intends to upgrade, but is all fine and good for a pleasant stay as it is. Off the kitchen you can find a doorway to a small hall that services the upstairs 2 single bed room,which is fine for children, a separate toilet and also what would be termed the master bedroom, complete with a modern en-suite. The master bedroom has a double bed and also a single bed in the room. The only thing I'd add to this master bedroom would be blackout curtains (they are not blackout at present in this room), although are present in some of the other bedrooms. Off the kitchen is a large spacious living room with french doors to both the front and also the back garden. There is a smart TV, good leather sofas and chairs and a log burner with an ample supply of logs, kindling, matches and fire lighters. Off the living room is a hall that services a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a full bathroom. The floors are in the main wooden and they do creak, but this adds to the charm of the place. On our arrival, in the kitchen, Alyson had baked some chocolate brownies and also provided some milk in the fridge. A nice touch. The place was an ideal base for us, and as the weather turned a little cold, Alyson even provided some more logs and kindling, which were much appreciated. We took our dog to the Barn and she was more than happy with the garden size, the sheep neighbours in the adjacent paddock and also being somewhat bemused by the mowbot, Alyson's robotic mower, that came out daily to over all the spacious gardens. Alyson also tends the many plants in pots and tubs around the gardens, which looked delightful and a credit to her. There is an outdoor bench and seats at the front garden, a clothes line and in the back garden, a stack of 4 chairs, plus a large table and a further 4 chairs. Perhaps the only thing missing from the rear garden would be a couple of sun loungers perhaps, but that is being perhaps picky. The wifi whilst not fast, was adequate. There was plenty of off road parking and the availability of little touches such as books on the coastal area, games in the bench seat in the kitchen, dishwasher tabs being provided by Alyson, as well as coffee, tea and sugar being available for us on arrival was great. Overall, this is a lovely place to stay and Alyson is the perfect owner/host, even offering a dog sitting service if needed, to avoid your pooch being left alone in the house, which is a no-no by the way for the booking. You will have to look far to get a better place to stay, but you will need a car to get to and from it, as it is off the beaten track, so to speak, but that wasn't a problem for us at all, we loved our stay.

Excellent maintained barn with lovely garden overlooking a paddock of sheep .

All the equipment and facilities just like being at home . Alyson is a lovely host with her friendly companion Murphy. A nice welcome pack greeted us on arrival , as well as treats for our dogs. Bedrooms comfy and spacious . Excellent location for coastal path walks and visits to local beaches and attractions. The scenery around this area is outstanding. We would love to return in the future .

Fabulous property.

Perfect for a family holiday. The barn is well equipped, spacious and beautifully clean. The owner Alyson is very friendly and welcoming and left us freshly baked cookies and flowers. We had the whole use of the front and back fully enclosed and beautiful gardens which was ideal for our young grandchildren and 2 dogs. The sheep in the Paddock kept both the children and dogs amused all week. Quiet location but near to beaches and parks. Would highly recommend.

This is a lovely property set in nice gardens and a paddock.

There are country walks in all directions with excellent facilities less than 15 minutes away in Tenby. Our only regret was not having more time to explore the area which means we will HAVE to come back. The owner (Alyson) lives next door and couldnt be more helpful and supportive whilst being very discreet.

The Barn was the ideal property for a family holiday.

Alyson, the owner, was both welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Facilities were of a very good standard and the welcoming starter pack was very much appreciated. The garden was ideal for children and the location was beautiful. The nearby beaches of Tenby and Saundersfoot were also a real bonus. Remote feel with lovely gardens, lots of wildlife, incl bats and sheep. Conveniently close too Tenby and other attractions, will definitely stay again. Kids had a blast.

Had a lovely two weeks at The Barn, the property and the surroundings were excellent.

Alyson (and Murphy the black lab) were extremely welcoming and on hand for any queries when necessary. The fresh flowers and cookies on arrival were a lovely touch and everything you needed was provided. It was peaceful and relaxing with plenty of garden space for children to safely run around. Recommend Manor Wildlife Park as a place to visit, had a lovely day here including feeding wallabies and there are plenty of other things to do in the area for all ages. We’ll definitely be making a return visit!

We had a delightful week at the Barn and Alyson was a very welcoming host.

There were flowers on the kitchen table and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies when we arrived. The Barn was very warm and everything was clean and comfortable for a relaxing stay. It was easy to walk our dog in the garden and down the lane as the property is located half a mile down a dead end lane. Access to the coast is easy and the beaches around the area are beautiful. We would love to come back again!

Nice and secluded but within half an hour drive of a lot of the attractions and places of interest to visit. The cottage was picturesque with all the amenities you need for self accomodation. We could not fault the place.

Ideal location for exploring this area of Wales.

The property is quite, comfortable and warm (plenty of logs for the wood burner) especially when you return to the cottage after a rainy day, and having the owner, who is extremely helpful, living on site is a real bonus.

Harold s barn is in a lovely quiet area .

It is ideal for a relaxing break, but also near to the many beaches and attractions in the area . The really large garden space is ideal for children , my grandchildren loved it . The barn is very well equipped with everything you need , and owner Alison is nice and friendly and on hand for any help you should need . We will definitely return to The Barn . Loved it and did not want to come home .

We enjoyed our two weeks holiday at the Barn.

Alyson greeted us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. The welcome pack exceeded expectations. The Barn was clean, comfortable and spacious, in fact it ticked all the boxes. Our retired guide dog had the best time ever walking on the beautiful sandy beaches nearby and plenty of walks from the barn.

.. what a “home from home” in an idyllic peaceful setting!!.... Alyson provided everything you could possibly need and more to ensure the Barn accommodated for our every need.... you are able to pack some clothes and shopping and literally everything else is provided, even down to toiletries!.....It was exactly as the pictures detailed and everywhere was beautifully decorated and kitted out to an extremely high standard. The lawns and gardens were well kept, providing seating on both sides to enable us to enjoy the sun all day long.... yes we were even blessed with beautiful weather! It’s was our daughters 21st birthday and Alyson picked up on this during our introduction and surprised us by knocking on the day of her birthday with a card and chocolates.... so very thoughtful We would highly recommend the Barn and will definitely be back

Fantastic converted barn which is ideal for a large group of friends or family.

Four spacious bedrooms and a very large kitchen/dining room and lovely spacious lounge. Definitely one of the best equipped holiday lets we have ever had. Alyson, the owner has thought of everything, you really only need to bring food, booze and yourselves! She also provided lots of information on what to do and where to go in the area which we found invaluable. Nowhere is further than an hour away and there are some lovely villages to explore. We had two dogs and we were delighted at the large grounds where they could run around as well as loads of walks on the doorstep. If you want a quiet, restful holiday, look no further.

We had a fantastic stay at the Barn.

The space was perfect for a family gathering of 9. We had a very warm welcome and the host was extremely helpful. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook during the week. The location is great. Plenty of parking and space outside for the kids. We were in easy reach of Tenby, Folly farm and plenty of childrens’ attractions. Would definitely recommend.

If you want a peacefully relaxing break in a lovely country setting with a very helpful considerate owner then this is the place to book.

An exceptional property.

Incredible welcome by owner. Lots of room for whole family. The homely touches made all the difference and there was no need to panic about anything we'd forgotten to pack as all equipment provided and cleaning materials. a very relaxing week "at home".

We had a wonderful time at the Barn, Harold's Field, we were celebrating my husband's 70th birthday and the family joined us for part of the week which included 3 grandsons aged 6, 4 and 2.

The cottage was more than expected with plenty of room, everything you needed was there and with a wrap around garden our grandsons had plenty of room to run around. The location was excellent not far from all the attractions and Alyson was extremely helpful. Definitely recommend it. Thank you

The Barn at Harrolds Farm was everything we could have hoped for with the added bonus of spectacular weather all week.

The hostess, Alyson, was wonderful and nothing too much trouble with another added bonus being Murphy, her adorable black Labrador. We ate outside all the time as there are outside tables front and back meaning that you can either avoid the sun if too hot or sit in it if too cold - perfect. The local beaches are beautiful and the sea lovely and clear and none of us wanted to leave at the end of the week, it really couldn't have been any better.

This was the perfect accommodation and location peaceful natural beauty and quiet .

but the garden is perfect for children large and safe .the cottage was rustic but modern at the same time every thing you need plenty plates big pans for a big family Alison the owner is extremely friendly and welcoming.she lives next door that doesn’t make it arkward it added to the enjoyment of the holiday .we loved it so much we will be going back and the rest of the family who were staying in another cottage about 20 mins away want to rent the other cottage near this one when we go back for the location for it’s true beauty a true family environment..they have a lovely log burner .we just waited for a chilly night to light it which added to the experience really cosy so big thankyou Alison and family

In a quiet relaxing position with everything you need for a wonderful holiday.Don't know wether to tell family and friends about it because i don't want them booking it for when i want to go again . Very friendly and helpful owner who is on site to help and advise about the property and area.

THE BARN AT HAROLDS FARM WAS BRILLIANT EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED ALYSON AND HER HUSBAND WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL WE ALL ENJOYED A RELAXING WEEK EVEN THOUGH THE WEATHER WAS CHANGEABLE WE WERE OUT EVERY DAY.

A bit disconcerted to find the property wAs semi detached.

And that people needed to walk through the property garden to get to the owners property Did not seem very private or there than that the property was beautiful and very well equipped
