11 Crabbe Street is a beautifully appointed residence - very tasteful and well thought out. The kitchen is superbly equipped. We first discovered Aldeburgh 16 years ago and have been back regularly since then. No.11 takes prime spot - we had a lovely week.

We found crabbe street house to be very well equipped, very clean and comfortable.

There was four of us including two elderly people in our group. Having a bathroom on both floors was ideal especially as they were fitted out to a high standard. Location was very handy with everything on your doorstep. We definitely be planning a returning visit in the future.

It’s a lovely house that is very well presented throughout.

For a family of four it doesn’t quite work because there aren’t enough bathrooms upstairs (although we knew this going in). Also, the double beds are uncomfortably small and there is plenty of room for a bigger bed in the Master so this is unnecessary. The two main problems were 1. that there wasn’t enough hot water - it runs out after two showers and it just isn’t on that the manual suggests that everybody showers at different times of day. You can’t use the bath at all as the water runs out before it’s full so it’s pointless having it. 2. the living room looks attractive and there’s a great television with loads of channels (far better then most holiday houses) but the furniture is incredibly uncomfortable, especially the sofas. It’s more like a waiting room than a cosy place to linger. For two people - which we were most of our visit it works as we slept in separate rooms and only needed two showers. However, I don’t think we could return with our (adult) sons as there isn’t enough sleeping space or hot water. It is a really lovely house though and beautifully equipped so these problems would be easily rectified.It seems such a shame to limit the hot water in such a high end house as it gives an impression of money saving/inhospitability at odds with everything else.

Fantastic position and yet quiet at night.

The cottage was absolutely lovely and in a perfect location of Aldburge.

Plenty of kitchen utensils and what looked to be a brand new cooking range. Would be nice to have a second TV in the dinning area? Our only negative was that the bed mattresses were not very firm but i suppose that's a personal preference also would suggest a lighter quilt option for this time of year. We had a lovely stay and would 100% recommend this cottage. we will back at some stage. Ray & Kim

The cottage was very clean and comfortable and we were impressed at it was all in such good condition, although it was the end of the season it felt fresh and new. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and all the furnishings finished to a high standard.

Amazing holiday home everything you need is provided, very good location near the beach, shops walking distant excellent Deli's for picnic food to take to the beach!

Superbly equipped and stylishly presented - we loved this property.

It was immaculately clean and very well located only moments from the sea front and a minutes walk to the shops, restaurants and pubs. We had a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable break and will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay at 11 Crabbe Street over the Christmas period, We really appreciated the Christmas tree and other festive touches, plus biscuits and sparkling wine.

The house is in a great location, mid-way between the beach and the high street, yet quiet in the evenings and mornings. We were really impressed with the standard of the furnishings, decoration, facilities and clear instructions etc. and managed to cook our Christmas dinner etc without any stress in the well-equipped kitchen. The accommodation was cleaned to a high standard and nicely uncluttered. Overall a very comfortable base for our much-needed Christmas break

The house was a delight - although it says it is spacious in the description, I was a bit sceptical as it is in a terrace, but it truly is spacious!

The kitchen was well equipped and the heating was generous. The location was perfect for beach and high street and to explore the surroundings. Our main goal for the weekend was to spend the day on Orford Ness which is an easy drive South but we also loved the hides at the nature reserve at the North end of town (lots of ducks and a barn owl!) - and we are on the 'love it' team for the scallop!!

Possibly the nicest cottage we have ever rented.

Outstandingly clean, super facilities and tremendous foresight with all the small touches. If there was anything to comment on it would be the sofas which were rather uncomfortable leaving us , being older, with backache. Also, everything had instructions which enabled us to leave the house as the owner wished. Parking was much easier than we anticipated which had concerned us. Overall a super rental.

We had a fab week in Aldeburgh and were blessed with the weather.

The cottage was exactly as described and was done out to a high spec. with good quality furnishings and utensils. It had absolutly everything that you might need and was home from home, and felt very homely. The location was ideal. Close to the seafront and to the town. Could hear the sea while laying in bed. We had no problem getting parked at the free parking at the Moot hall.The prosecco and biscuits upon arrival was a very nice touch. Would have no problem recommending and would certainly revisit.

11 Crabbe Street was such a lovely holiday cottage that we didn't want to leave at the end of our stay there!

It is extremely well-equipped, clean and comfortable. The location of the cottage is ideal for wandering along to the High Street in one direction or along the beach to Thorpeness in the other direction. We would happily recommend and return.

Beautiful house just over the road from the beach.

Perfect location to explore the local area from. We were a bit concerned about car parking before we arrived but there was no issue at all. There is plentiful free parking by Moot Hall which is less than 100m from the house.

High end furnishing and finishes in a beautifully decorated home. Luxury bedding and curtains for a snug night. Location of the property fabulous for beach and town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staying here felt a treat because nothing was old ‘cast-off’ furniture dumped into the holiday home, including a great size tv for cosy movie nights.

We've had a wonderfully relaxing week in your best-ever equipped house and managed to treat ourselves to a concert at the maltings.

Dinner recommendations: Brudenell Hotel, Grandson recommends chocolate ice cream from over the road "best thing I have ever tasted2 (Thomas 15 months). It's been very hot so there's a long list of things we wanted to do - for another time.

Very well equipped, comfortable beds, good showers and we loved the bold wall colours throughout. The best bit was being only a 40 second amble to the beach, which was great to stroll along in both directions. We'd love to live in the Martello Tower! Whilst Europe sweltered in scorching temperatures, Suffolk had stormy winds, torrential rain, heavy grey clouds, then sun and blue skies, all in one day - very changeable! We enjoyed trips to Southwold and Thorpeness and will visit Sutton Hoo on the way home to Kent. Moot Hall and the little museum inside are worth a visit too. We mostly self-catered but had fish'n'chips from the Golden Galleon (yum!) and ate twice at Prezzo, with delicious pizzas and pastas.

So comfortable & you have certainly thought of every gadget & utensil anyone could need :) We played some of the games for late night fun with a glass of wine. Hand soaps & sprays are delightful too. Magpie Bakery is excellent. Ate @ Brudenell Hotel & Regatta - both very good. Agree with previous comments that sitting outside the front people watching with a cuppa is so relaxing. It's been upgraded to a high spec + has everything you would need. Loved getting some new ideas from the recipe booking, taking the boats out on the boating lake and the games. The garden is a great sun trap when it shines! Thank you for a wonderful week.

Perfect cottage for a week in Aldeburgh.

Our first stay in Aldeburgh and what a wonderful place it is!

We have been blessed with a week of perfect weather and could not have asked for more. The house is perfect, so much thought has gone into the decor and visitors comfort. Parking was also no problem with a post 4pm move to outside for the night. The lighthouse was fantastic, so glad we ate there. They are very busy and we could only get a 6pm sitting, leaving at 7.45pm but still well worth it. Man thanks!

Here we are again!

It was wonderful to return to 11 Crabbe Street + Aldeburgh. As usual, everything one could possibly need was provided so thank you. We relaxed in the cozy lounge in the evenings, reading & watching the world go by. Always a great pleasure to return to Aldeburgh. The opportunity for us to reset ourselves & be together. The location of the house is another big plus - so close to the seafront and the high street. We enjoyed our walks along the beach and visits to Sutton Hoo and Dunwich. What a fabulous cottage, we have stayed in Aldeburgh for 4 years in a row and this is has definitely been our favourite cottage so far!

Aldeburgh is a great town and the visits to Thorpeness were all rewarded. Great position - and a small regatta on the boat pond (the red yacht won!)

We have had such a wonderful time in Aldeburgh.

Your home is beautiful and you have thought of everything. Ralph our Grandson has loved the 'lion' cup, plate & bowl! As the weather has been so beautiful we have spent most days on the beach. We did visit Thorpeness and went on some lovely walks. The Magpie Bakery is a must. We ate out every night visiting The Cross Keys, Prezzo's, The Mill Inn and The White Hart Inn. Ralph enjoyed sailing his yacht on the boating pond. Aldeburgh is such a beautiful place and we will definitely visit again next year.

We've had a fabulous time visiting the Red House, Sutton Hoo and Snape Maltings. The heatwave also gave us a brilliant beach day, although the seas hasn't got the memo. There's so much to see and do in Aldeburgh and such a lovely feel to the place, that we will definitely be back. Final note... how friendly and welcoming everyone is, Suffolk and Aldeburgh are genuinely places to be treasured.

Shopping along Aldeburgh high street and the walk along Crag Path are very relaxing. A trip to Snape Maltings was interesting and Thorpeness is not to be missed. Spent hours on the beach looking at the waves! We would return to 11 Crabbe Street again as it's a beautiful please to stay.

Only our 2nd visit to Aldeburgh, it's been a great find this cottage is beautiful and so thoughtfully equipped.

Such a lovely cottage comfortable and very well equipped.

We had lived locally for than ten years, but left late last year. This was our first time back and we couldn't imagine a better return.

One of the nicest holiday cottages we have stayed in, very comfortable and everything we needed.

Would recommend parking near golf club and walking the sailors' path to Snape Maltings- 4 miles of easy walk both ways. Also visited Orford and had a hour river trip, a trip to Woodbridge, walked along the beach to Thorpeness, morning in Framlingham and to the beach at Southwold. Would recommend Aldeburgh market for a meal. Thank you for a lovely stay.

..what a great stay! Beach, walks and fabulous food. We were 5 friends and we enjoyed the comforts of the beautiful house and the location was perfect! The sun was shining, we walked to Thorpeness where we rode on a horse & cart, which took us round the village where we got to see the house in the clouds and the windmill. Flat walk and well worth the visit! Planning to come back. Thank you!
