What guests are saying
What a wonderful property in a fantastic location.
The quality of the furniture, linens and appliances were all of an extremely high standard. The only minor negative was an issue with the tap water in the kitchen. When you initially turned tap on, the water appeared brown and smelt/tasted unpleasant. We purchased bottled water for drinking and making hot drinks so not a huge problem but perhaps a filter/softener requires some maintenance or changing?
We had a lovely vacation staying at this cottage, there were no if only they had conversations, as the owners had thought of everything.
All the facilities provided were high end, gorgeous sofas, comfy bed, quality bed linen and towels. Would highly recommend to friends and family and hope to return.
We were thrilled with this property.
It is beautifully and comfortably furnished with high quality linens, kitchen equipment, art work..in fact everything was top notch. It was spotlessly clean on our arrival with a welcome pack, always appreciated. It did not feel like a rental property at all, rather someone's well loved home. 2 minutes walk to the fish and chip shop and the same to the beach. We have been coming to Aldeburgh for 30 years and Mariner's cottage so far gets the prize. Thank you to the owners for letting us stay in this lovely property.
