Rising above the coastline of the picturesque Suffolk village of Aldeburgh, Wide Skies offers a great spot to explore the local area.
Be welcomed by this large Victorian townhouse and make yourself at home in the snug, where large windows draw in natural light, a great spot of reading with a cup of tea, and for a more social room, there is a first-floor sitting room with sea views.
When mealtimes call, the kitchen/diner will not disappoint, with contemporary décor making this a great space for family cooking as the handy utility will take care of your muddy clothes as you dine.
Five bedrooms offer a space to get cosy for the night, including a second-floor twin (can be set up as super-king-size on request), a second-floor super-king-size with en-suite with bath, shower over, basin and WC, a king-size, a double and a second-floor double.
Outside there is a fantastic courtyard space where you can enjoy the sea air as you have breakfast in the sunshine.
Aldeburgh is a fantastic little seaside town, offering a handful of great eateries where you can try out local produce and enjoy a glass of your favourite beverage.
Visiting the pebble beach is a must, with amazing views of the ocean and a great place to stroll in the sea air, try out watersports and wild swimming or simply have a family picnic as your four-legged companion runs about at the shore.
For avid walkers, the Snape path and Haven Nature Reserve will make for a wonderful afternoon with nature and coastal views and if you love history then you can visit the local museum and learn more about the village’s history.

Wonderful house, Fantastic location, Beautifully furnished. If I win the Lottery I would buy it! Aldeburgh is a delightful, clean place to stay with lovely shops and many fine restaurants. And Sykes arranged 7 days of sunshine so our entire week was PERFECTION.
Amazing house and location, however there were building works going on next door and scaffolding overhanging some rooms so the vistas not as perfect as could be, little disappointed this wasn’t communicated before our stay as they were also working there 3 days during the stay so a little noisy and lacked privacy in top bedroom.
Also a second/spare key would have been great as well as a decent hoover. That all being said though loved our stay there to remember my dad, public rooms so spacious and kitchen had everything f one needed to cook and relax.
We stayed at this wonderful holiday let from 29/12/2025 to 03/01/2026 and it was absolutely fabulous.
The accommodation was warm, welcoming, spotless, and well equipped — everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our family group of 8 was multigenerational, ranging from 12 to 85 years old, and the house suited everyone perfectly. The location was ideal too; we didn’t need to use the car all week, which made the stay even more relaxing. We visited local restaurants, the theatre (Aldeburgh Jubilee Hall) and the local cinema and enjoyed the fireworks on the beach on New Year’s Eve. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning.
