The bedside lights, small bedroom and main bedroom by the wardrobe didn't work, it would not take housekeeping a moment to check between guests.

it was an inconvenience rather than a problem. One kitchen cupboards missing a knob, I think I saw it in cupboard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house is comfortable an welcoming, we love the new fire in the lounge.

We have been staying at Winkle Cottage since 2014, but sadly the place is in urgent need of a thoroughly good clean and some maintenance is needed.

Some include flaking ceiling in second double bedroom, mould all over ceiling in bathroom, torn net curtains, I could go on. Garden doesn’t seem to get any attention, had to sweep and clean before use. Bins had not been emptied and overflowing, we had to take our rubbish elsewhere. We are sad to have to write this review because we love Winkle Cottage.

we reported the kitchen knobs hanging off last year and still are.

We received the email about the cooker notworking at the end of the holiday but a ?cooker/another microwave was left on top of the gas hob no instructions and no room to plug it in the oven was replaced in full while we were there, and I do have to wonder why this could not be done prior to our stay £350 if we damage anything so although I have already booked for next year , but look forward to compensation for the inconvenience of Sunday dinner cooked on the hob I have photos to prove the dumped oven on the hob not plugged in and no instructions.
