What guests are saying
A beautiful bijou retreat situated right by the moat on the lovely estate of Columbine Hall.
Took our little dog who enjoyed the cosy log burner as much as we did. A couple of things to note for future occupants - there really is no wi-fi, telephone signal or tv, but once we got used to this we really enjoyed being ‘off-grid’ and played cards and read in the evening (take your own games!). Also there is no hair-dryer, so take your own if this is essential for you. It mentions in the description that there is a dishwasher, in fact there is a washing machine which isn’t really needed for short breaks so might be better replaced with a dishwasher in the future. Apart from these minor points, it really is a fabulous place to stay!
