  • "It is a lovely barn conversion, with ample space for a family for 6-8 and it is pet friendly."

It felt like home away from home but with a lot more greenery and well equipped sports room which the kids enjoyed. Well maintained and much recommended…

  • "This was a fantastic place to relax with our family, with plenty of space and everything we could need."

It was great to have such a well equipped kitchen in which cooking for everyone was a joy. The owner was very friendly and helpful and made sure everything was OK for us. We will be back!

  • "We were five adults staying for three nights."

This is lovely property in a rural location. There is plenty at the property to keep you occupied, with a games room containing many indoor and outdoor games. A vast amount of music CDs and DVDs on offer. The property was clearly converted to a high standard and contained all that you require to cook. Given we stayed in December, although it was not freezing outside the property was plenty warm enough and had been decorated nicely for the festive season. Thank you so much, we had a great time.

  • "A wonderful property for a family gathering ."

Really spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Dog walks from the front door. The photographs do not do it justice! Teenagers well catered for in the games room. David was very welcoming and on hand for any questions or assistance. Make sure you provision before you arrive as there is not a shop locally but do not let this put you off - a gem in the Suffolk countryside. Thank you

Thank you for your feedback. We are so glad you appreciated our Barn and so glad we ticked the boxes for the teenagers - hope to see you again in the future. Property Owner

  • "Lovely spacious barn."

Loved the en suite bathrooms and all the great games provided for the children. Plenty of space for our party of 5 and our dog. The games room was fantastic for families. Comfy duvets and beds. Hosts were fantastic helping arrange a casserole from the local pub on arrival as well as lots of help as we were stuck in the floods! A few small things just to be helpful for the future, not criticisms: foil in the kitchen would be useful, as would anti bac spray (without bleach as didn’t want to damage surfaces!) to give things a wipe down. A pint of milk in the fridge on arrival would be appreciated as shop was a drive away- not walkable. (Wine appreciated but not necessary in our opinion!)

Thank you Phoebe for your feedback, I have to say that I am disappointed that you have marked us down as we did all we could to make your stay as comfortable as possible, including looking after your family when you got stuck in the floods. Im sure you must be aware that had you needed anything from kitchen foil to milk (which by the way I provided to your mother whilst you were stuck in the floods) we would have provided it for you. We have been providing 5star self catering accommodation for 14 years and as you can see by our reviews we are not used to being marked down. Property Owner

  • "Beautifully decorated and facilitated accommodation."

This really was one of the best places we’ve stayed and we travel regularly. The setting was wonderful too, a truly gorgeous part of the UK. The attention to detail at this place was 5 star. It had anything and everything (and a whole lot more) you need to enjoy your stay. The games room was an added bonus and we truly enjoyed playing the group games available. Thank you so much for the perfect stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

A lot of consideration has gone into all aspects of the property and its amenities, and it actually catered for 6 easily, unlike other places we have stayed!! The games room with its pool table and vast array of other games, CDs and DVDs was a big hit. Dvaid the owner is extremely welcoming and helpful and is always available to give great recommendations on where visit and/or eat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Thank you.

About the location

FRAMLINGHAM

Saxmundham 7.5 miles; Aldeburgh 14 miles; Southwold 20 miles

The beautiful market town of Framlingham is mentioned in the Domesday Book (1086) and has been known since Anglo Saxon times, when it consisted of several manors which William the Conqueror (1066-1087) presented to Roger Bigod. The town is of particular interest as it has a large castle and mere which was built between 1190 and 1210. The town is surrounded by lovely villages to explore and has two of the oldest working post boxes and one of Britain’s smallest houses, with the footprint measuring 6.1x2.2m! Today, the town offers a number of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants and it is also home to Framlingham Summer Arts Festival.
