    "We had a wonderful time ."

    The cottage is roomy and had everything we needed. Plenty of shops and places to eat within walking distance. Even though we were in the high street it wasn’t noisy. Plenty to do out of town as well. Would highly recommend staying here.

    "Excellently located for beach and shops."

    Spacious. Overall the property was very well supplied with everything you needed. However the cutlery and oven utensils were old, tired and of mixed origins.

    "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

    The only comment we would make is that there are not enough teaspoons, and also some larger tumblers for cold drinks. There is a damp smell in the downstairs toilet.

    "What a fabulous little place!"

    ! Fantastic location!! Seaflower is not only very pretty to look at it is extremely practical and well equipped! Clean and spacious! Excellent shower and such a plus having a separate toilet downstairs. The beds are all very comfortable and the bedding is great quality. As a group of 5 friends we really enjoyed our two night break at Seaflower and would recommend to our friends and families.

    "We have been coming to Aldeburgh for many years and Seaflower is the most quirky but comfortable family cottage we have stayed in."

    It is in a great position with the beach and fish sheds and the high street with all it offers with the cinema, bookshop and eateries all on the doorstep. The younger children loved the quick access to the sailing pool and the ice cream/coffee hut which we visited several times! The house is well equipped with most things we needed for a week away with three generations of family. The kitchen and bathroom were modern and clean - constant hot water and a great shower were appreciated. Good to have eco friendly cleaning products provided. The beds were very comfortable. The little courtyard perfect for a bit of private outdoor eating space and for drying swim things. We loved the original artwork which gave a personal touch. We would have liked a few larger glasses for the Adnams ale bought up the road and some less chunky mugs but that's just a personal thing and we will bring those next time. We all loved the 'blue house' with all it offers and look forward to coming back. Thank you

    "One of the best holiday houses we have stayed in Aldeburgh."

    A very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The house was very well equipped with everything that you would need. Our children also loved it and want to go back to ‘the blue house’ soon!

    "The cottage was good upstairs and lounge acceptable."

    However the kitchen left much to be desired. There was very little cutlery. The worktops were very sticky. The washing up bowl was old and not clean enough. The washing up brush was not clean enough to use and we immediately bought another one. The cottage was not suitable for 2 dogs as outside space was small and airless. We spent very little time in the cottage as our relatives had booked another one which was much more welcoming. Good job the weather was kind to us!

Thank you for your comments on the cutlery, we have since added additional. We are glad you liked the upstairs of the property. We have had numerous comments on the outside space being wonderful, so are sorry that you found it unsuitable for your needs.     "Lovely house very clean and comfortable."

    Well situated in Aldeburgh high street. Near the sea and the town. Felt at home very quickly. Great to have a back garden to read in. Good size bedrooms with clean and comfy beds. Large bathroom with a shower. Would definitely recommend.

The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!
