Description
A lovely mid-terrace house resting in the village of Pakefield, Gull's Nest is a delightful property on the Suffolk coast, perfect for a family of four to enjoy.
With a bright open-plan living space, an enclosed courtyard and even a cute snug room, Gull's Nest is perfectly positioned for exploring the likes of Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth and even some of the Norfolk Broads, as well as the beautiful beaches.
Enter into the open-plan living and dining room to find a pretty blue sofa, and an armchair resting before the electric stove-effect fire, perfectly positioned for enjoying the TV in the evening.
A contemporary dining table with bench seating sits to the back of the room, ideal for coming together at the end of the day for a family meal, before you head into the excellent fitted kitchen.
Discover all the appliances you need for a self-catered stay, including a fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, and a washing machine.
Continue to the very back of the property to find the ground-floor family bathroom, with a bath and shower over to serve the property.
The pretty courtyard is great for stepping outside for some fresh air in the evening with a drink before you head out for dinner in Pakefield or Lowestoft, with outdoor seating to relax on.
Head upstairs to find the two bedrooms, coming first to the twin room with lovely decor and matching bedding, and then to the double bedroom which benefits from a large walk-in cupboard space for hanging your things.
From the double bedroom you can find the sweet snug room, set up with a chair and desk space, great for anyone who has to bring the office with them on holiday, or a good space for the travel cot to be placed for little ones.
Everything you need can be found within a short stroll from Gull's Nest as well as historic pubs, a cliff-top church and the beautiful Pakefield Beach dotted with fishing boats, you can enjoy lovely walks along the Victorian promenade and pebbley sands.
Discover the UK's most easterly town, Lowestoft just a few miles north of Pakefield, famous for being the first place to see the sunrise in the UK and home to many attractions.
Let the children run through the 74 jets of the Princess Royal Fountains, browse the high street which lies in a historical part of town, discover the maritime history at Heritage Quay and the Maritime Museum, and visit Lowestoft's beaches popular with families.
Head to Oulten Broads and hire a boat from Oulton Dayboats to coast along the waters, coming to waterside restaurants and looking out for all kinds of wildlife.
Take a memorable trip to Africa Alive!, a walking animal safari with an African theme, home to wonderful animals like rhinos, lions and ostriches!
If you're a family of thrill-seekers then head to Pleasurewood Hills Family Theme Park where rollercoasters, rides, animal shows and laser tag offer endless entertainment for all ages.

What guests are saying
Very pretty , clean and comfortable accommodation within 5 minutes walk to a beautiful, unspoilt beach.
Fantastic location with great transport links- no need for a car.
Cottage was comfy with everything we needed.
Welcome pack was well received. Cottage looking a little tired .please weed that back yard and beyond gate so bins can sit there instead of pavements in this heat the smell was horrible when u opened front door or windows. Few things we wernt comfortable about but on the whole was ok . Lovely pub and walks just down road.
I arrived at 3pm on Saturday and left at 3.
20pm! The property smells. Floors had not been cleaned. Paint flaking off damp walls. The stench from the kitchen sink was revolting. Orange limescale all over both shower heads. Bedsheets not changed (just turned inside out) with disgusting stains and dirt and hairs inside the crumpled mess. Damp carpet, black mouldy walls, curtains and windows. There was absolutely no way that my dog and I were staying in this health hazard. If I could add photos to this review I would. My much needed holiday completely ruined and I am still awaiting a refund!
