Ideal for couples or small families, it retains much of its original features captivating your attention.

Enter via the front door, and instantly feel welcomed into its characterful charm exuding from every wall; its original floors, low beams and cosy woodburner housed within a beautiful brick fireplace, add an elegant and refined touch, enhanced by warm terracotta colourways in the dining area to uplift your mood.

The compact yet nicely appointed kitchen leads you to the pretty garden to the rear, where you can enjoy the delights of outdoors under a sheltered patio area, looking out across the manicured lawn towards a plethora of beautiful flowers and plants, cascading around its borders.

Not suitable for elderly people, disabled or anyone who is not old but may feel challenged climbing steep steps without a hand rail.

Comfortable upstairs if you can get there. Needs a shower curtain bath too deep to sit down in. Need more blackout in bedrooms.

The only issue we had was the spiral staircase .

we just did not see it on the listing and at the age of 70 we did struggle at times but overall it was a nice cottage

This property should not be marketed until it has had a deep clean and maintenance work carried out.

As requested I stripped the bed on the morning of departure and was appalled to see what we had been sleeping on the mattress as dirty and stained, the duvet was also far from clean, the cover and sheet did not indicate that there may be a problem so we did not have a reason to check. There are steps to the kitchen and bathroom plus the spiral staircase and uneven flooring in the lounge. A broken front door step, back garden and seating area in need of care, no comfortable outdoor chairs. The cottage door leads out directly on to the road with traffic passing from early morning huge lorries thundering pass. A charming village location it is not !
