Lovely house although you could tell coming out of the main summer season the property had been used a lot.

Unfortunately we had no hot water or heating for the last 48 hours or our 3 day stay but managed albeit disappointing as we wasn’t going to wait around for it to be fixed whilst on a short break…..but the accommodation was okay for what we needed…Personally wouldn’t return but just my opinion …

Heron House is a beautiful house to stay in.

Its location is very convenient for the sea and High Street. The house was very comfortable, clean and stylishly decorated. We were a group of 8 and there was enough room for us to sit around the kitchen table and relax in the sitting room. All the bedrooms are a good size, the attic was a lovely spot to read or hang out away from the rest of the house. Our only criticism was that there were not enough big pots and pans for us to cook for the group. We could have done with a larger saucepan for cooking pasta for 8, and more pans generally. We also needed more bowls for food preparation & more serving dishes. Of course, not everyone who stays will want to cook but the kitchen is a good size and we did want to make use of it. That aside, I would definitely recommend Heron House for families and larger groups, it fitted us all in very nicely and we had a great stay. Thank you!
