It was a lovely house with the best equipped kitchen.

Lovely patio and hut! However it needs several points of minor attention. 1. The front door. Part of the Yale lock attached to the door frame was coming away leaving the property insecure. We encountered some difficulty with the call handler in order to get this resolved. The downstairs toilet door difficult to shut. The toilet seat broken. We had to partially descale the kettle so it would reach boiling point without switching off too early. The bedspread on the first floor double bedroom was stained and appeared to have dried up spots of blood on it. We left a note to this effect for the cleaners s, obviously unhygeinic.

A lovely property , very central to all facilities.

Thank you for the wine and biscuits. Toilet rolls should be provided, none were. The rug in the sitting room was very grubby. Front door yale lock was loose not happy with security. Unable to make contact with numbers given to report. Would stay again if the above were addressed.

This was our fourth year at Kestrel Cottage, perfect location for us.

Very upset that it’s booked for next year but my daughter has already been in touch for 2028. The lock on the front door needs looking at and arm chair hasn’t been moved to clean under.
