What guests are saying
Terrible odour from toilet upstairs the rim was filthy not been cleaned for along time.
Frying pan left grease in it none stick coming away.Out side decking wants a good jet wash sweep etc .Wow what a welcome tray a bottle of lemonade and biscuits no milk .Couldn’t even leave one pint.Very poor indeed.
Very convenient location, dedicated parking a huge plus.
TV very good, house comfortable and clean. We stayed in September, with the upstairs windows VERY restricted opening, imagine it would have been far too hot during this summer! Two irritating defects mentioned by others in the visitors book - dishwasher is not very efficient and one of the spots in kitchen ceiling flashes on and off. Otherwise no complaints.
Mycroft ticks all the boxes - comfortable and with outdoor seating, car parking, close to High St shops and cafes and not too far from beach, or common, even harbour.
We've stayed at Mycroft several times (most recently, June 2026) and would highly recommend it. Just booked again for 2027! It's dog-friendly too. Carol ad Bob
