Caravan

Lovely clean well maintained van.

Found welcome basket on arrival and toilet roll, washing up liquid etc supplied to get you going. Would deffantly book this van again.

The caravan itself was very comfy, in a great place and well kept.

However there was a distinctive smell of a garbage dump coming out of kitchen sink overflow. It was so bad that we had to buy bleach etc to mask the smell. We do like to give positive reviews and excellent feedback back where Necessary. We have recently received an email asking if we've pinched linen off single beds and taken it home??? We never used single beds, they were still made up with the towels on the bottom when we left. There was only two of us and respected the place like it was our own. The owner has asked if we packed the linen with our own stuff by mistake???? The answer is NO, why would we to start with and then not notice. I would just like to reiterate that the single beds were still as we'd found them when we first checked in. Not happy about the incinuation that we would have pinched linen. So basically we won't be recommending this particular holiday caravan.

We have just returned from a great week at this lovely caravan.

It was very comfortable and very clean, it felt like we were the first people to stay there! (Even in a pet friendly accommodation). It made such a big difference not to have to bring our own bedding and towels and the quality of those provided was very good. The presentation of the towels when we arrived was a lovely surprise. As per the previous review, a map of the site and kitchen items had also been provided. I would also say that the wine glasses were the best I’ve ever found in a caravan! The caravan was very clean, warm, comfortable and user friendly especially the shower!

It was great to be able to park next to the caravan and it was within a nice area for walking the dog. The site itself is good with well stocked shop and places to buy takeaway food. Just a few things for improvement: A map of the site inside the caravan would be useful as well as a few leaflets on places of interest nearby. It would be useful to have a few accessories in the kitchen such as washing up liquid, bin liners and kitchen roll which we’ve always found at other Sykes bookings along with full toilet roll and tea/coffee/milk etc. These add to the home from home feel. We had a thoroughly enjoyable week!
