Lampland House

Fabulous house in a great location.

Easy access to beach and countryside walks, lots of birds we don’t see and hear at home (stood a few feet from a Nightingale singing away on a walk to Southwold). Two good pubs a short walk away, a village shop and cafes.

Our 4th stay at Lampland House.

It's just a lovely place and suits us down to the ground. Excellent accommodation and facilities in a wonderful location.

Lampland is a wonderful home in a great location.

We were traveling with my 95 year old mother who has mobility issues, and the downstairs single-level seating, kitchen, dining, sleeping and bathroom(s) all worked well for her, while the rest of the family was also able to enjoy the fabulous upstairs sitting room and bedroom. The kitchen is really well appointed with every dish, pan and utensil you could imagine needing. The beds are super comfortable. On a good day there is nothing more glorious than sitting outside around one of the two tables, except maybe walking left out of your front door and down to the beach through the nature reserve. Walk right and you get to the amazing Black Dog Deli (with delicious pastries and salads) and the small local Co-op, or onto Walberswick itself with pubs, tea rooms and gift shops. The hand-rowed ferry to Southwold was a particular highlight.

Our second visit to Lampland was thoroughly enjoyed.

The location is excellent for local pubs and shops. The garden was ideal to enjoy the good weather Good facilities to either cook in the kitchen or use the barbecue. Quiet location with good parking.

Location just perfect for us so perfect we have alreaady booked again for next year. Small hope for next year would be some attention and repair to the decking area

We had such a fabulous stay in this beautiful house!

From the moment we pulled into the driveway- the garden looked beautiful & we knew we were going to love it! We had plenty of room, spoilt for choice with the bathrooms alone! We enjoyed the decor & appreciated how well-equipped it was. Our 2 young children absolutely had a blast running around the spacious hall & kitchen. Situated in the quaint but beautiful village of Walberswick, the coffee deli down the lane was our regular 830am coffee & pastry run! Great location & we were extremely lucky with the sunny week too! Thank you to the owners for such a wonderful property to stay in- it was hard to leave!

A very enjoyable stay.

The house was clean, spacious, comfortable and very well presented. Large garden and decking were very useful. A very well stocked kitchen- cutlery, glasses, plates and pans etc, including fresh coffee which was a nice touch. Beds were comfortable and bedrooms were a good size. Showers excellent. Well worth the visit.

Lovely, well equipped house in a great village location.

A pleasant walk down to the beach through the historic village. Easy walk to Southwold or use the ferry and close to other villages to visit up and down the coast.

We had a great week here, the best equipped holiday cottage we have ever found.

Plenty of space inside and out, you will not be disappointed if you stop here.

A well equipped property in a lovely quiet location yet close to all the necessary facilities like pubs and food stores etc.

Fantastic garden area. A great base to explore the area in the knowledge that you will be going to a comfortable house to relax etc. Will definitely return.

Enjoyed our stay.

It was very relaxing. The house was perfect for all of us & so well equipped. The decor and art was great. Loved having all the books & magazines to look through too. Would recommend it to everyone and with family in Ipswich we would love to stay again.

We had a lovely stay at Lampland House - it was really well presented and we were particularly thrilled with the spaciousness of the house (large rooms) and surrounding garden.

Only thing I’d mention is that the decking could do with a bit of maintenance but it certainly wouldn’t stop me booking again. Thank you!

The house is beautiful, I have to say one of the prettiest houses we have stayed in with everything we needed during our stay. The garden was amazing, our young children made the most of all the space whilst we relaxed in the garden. The location of the house was perfect to explore walberswick and Southwold with lots of things to do and see. You can really notice the care and attention throughout the house and we will definitely be booking again soon.

Lampland exceeded our expectations with everything we needed for a lovely relaxing holiday.

The house is very spacious, clean and comfortable with a really well equipped kitchen, comfortable sofas and beds and a lovely garden with several seating areas. As one of our party has mobility problems we particularly appreciated being able to park directly in front of the front door and the easy acces to the large ground floor bedroom/bathroom.Being just off the main road the house is very quiet but still just a few minutes walk from the amenities of the village, beach and lovely walks.

A lovely, spacious house in a great location.

Easy walk to the beach, shop and pubs. Lots of outside seating weather permitting. You can either catch the ferry or walk via the footpaths to Southwold and enjoy t he cafes and pubs over there or walk down the beach to Dunwich if you don't want to drive. Minsmere and Aldeburgh are a short drive away. If you are into wildlife there are Bearded Tits, Marsh Harriers, Skylarks, Linnets and more a short walk down the lane to the beach and reed beds. On a negative the Aga is a bit of a faff if cooking for a few of you and there is some intrusive noise from the building site across the lane on weekdays.
