Everything was perfect.

I cant think of anything needed to improve the cottage except perhaps curtains at some windows; plastic venetian blinds are not light proof and feel cold in the winter. We had a lovely meal at the pub, all the staff were delightful and to top it all an excellent general store was next door. Parking was easy and safe, altogether a wonderful place.

The Stables is in a great location and was perfect for myself, my husband and our cockapoo to spend a few days relaxing following our wedding.

The adjacent pub, owned by the same family, is lovely. The pub food is fabulous and the staff even delivered our dinner to the cottage. The owners and staff are super friendly, the accommodation was clean and had everything we needed. The lovely village of Battle is just a couple of miles away and the coast at Hastings and Bexhill is a short drive. Our stay was the perfect finale to our wedding week, thank you so much.

We stayed for a week in September, we can't find anything negative to say about the property apart from the narrow parking space, which is only a slight inconvenience, it was very comfortable and clean, and the pub next door is very good, with very friendly staff and locals and excellent food, even the dog was happy with the treat tub on the bar, would highly recommend this property
