What a absolutely lovely place so peaceful and very clean and cosy really relaxing holiday hot tub is great addition the owners are really welcoming will be returning as we came home so relaxed

We had such a wonderfully relaxing stay at The Pump House.

Pauline and Mick have created a proper little slice of heaven. The grounds are beautifully kept, and it’s incredibly dog-friendly, which made all the difference. Jet and Winston were made to feel just as welcome as we were. The whole vibe is calm and no pressure, exactly what you want when you need to switch off. We left feeling properly rested. Huge thanks to Pauline and Mick for sharing such a special place.

Another perfect two weeks in this accommodation.

Fourth year so far and can’t recommend enough. Lovely owners who are there if you need them but otherwise let you get on with it. Spacious open plan accommodation downstairs with a particularly comfortable settee. Big TV with lots of apps and channels and (we found) very reliable WiFi. Kitchen fully equipped with all modern appliances. Lovely airy bedroom with comfortable bed overlooking large grounds perfect for walking your dog/s last thing. A few steps from the front door takes you to a worry free, secure garden for your dog/s with a picnic table, barbecue and whirly gig. The spa bath which is wonderful for relaxing after a hard day’s sightseeing is very easy to use and kept scrupulously clean by owners. Rural but very handy for main roads to access beaches, towns and tourist spots. Can’t recommend enough.

An excellent well maintained little cottage, the owner was very friendly and available should we have needed anything, which we didn't.

There is a small enclosed garden for you and your dog to sit out in, and you also have access to the owners adjacent 10 acre of garden and woodland to exercise your dog, plus there are local footpath walks from the cottage. We would happily book again should we be visiting the area.

Wonderful property to stay in everything you could want .

The owners were not around for our stay but were in contact with us if we needed anything . We did not use the hot tub and i did feel that it heating up was a waste of energy , i dont know if they have to be left on . The only thing that could be improved was the kitchen lighting ,it was a bit dark when preparing food and washing up. The view out of the kitchen window was fantastic ,ducks, geese, rabbits and lots of birds visiting the bird feeder . Thank you pauline and mike for the use of the pump house.

Our second visit to Pump House.

A lovely relaxing stay in a beautiful setting. The owners are lovely and very welcoming and the property is perfectly cared for with everything you could need. Set in private woodlands with lakes and wonderful wildlife this is a perfect stay for those wishing to relax in peace and quiet. Our dogs were welcomed and enjoyed their walks here. Some wonderful places to visit on your doorstep such as Hertsmonceaux Castle, the Cuckoo Trail, Sheffield Park and local beaches. A definite “must” to return to and highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at the Pump House.

It’s a really charming little place and perfect for a relaxing break. One of the highlights for us was the surrounding walks – there are plenty of beautiful routes right on the doorstep, and our little dog Millie absolutely loved having so much space to run around and explore. The property itself was cosy and comfortable. The owners were also very nice and welcoming, especially Mick, who was very chatty and shared some really interesting facts and stories, which added a nice personal touch to our stay. Our only small criticism would be the lighting. It felt like it was either very bright with all the lights on or a bit too dark with them off. An uplight behind the sofa or in one of the corners would make a big difference and help create a nicer level of lighting in the evenings. The downstairs toilet can also be a little inconvenient when you’re upstairs in bed and need to use it during the night. We also felt the small room upstairs might have been more useful as a toilet rather than a wardrobe space. The shower also lacked a bit of power as it isn’t a power shower, which could potentially be improved. It’s also worth noting that you need to step into the bath to use it, which could be a little awkward for elderly guests. Overall though, we had a really lovely stay and it’s a sweet little place in a great location, especially if you’re bringing a dog along.

We had a very comfortable stay at The Pump House .

Our dogs were also welcomed which makes such a difference to us and it’s really appreciated. The cottage is well equipped with excellent facilities including a bath and shower ,washing machine and freezer. We were there in December so needed our wellies. An excellent location to explore East Sussex .

Lovely little place, clean and tidy with a private garden for your dog!

Hot tub is a bonus! Bare in mind there is no direct access from property to garden, it's a little side gate.

Really friendly owners who were on hand if you needed them. The walks in the area were our priority but the hot tub at the end of the day a real bonus. Well equipped for cooking and a bottle of wine on arrival! Appreciated that Pauline!

Pump House is a lovely property, uniquely situated in large grounds with woodlands and ponds.

Ideal for exercising your dog. The accommodation itself is very well equipped with modern furnishings, and the hot tub is a great way to relax after a busy day of walks around the East Sussex coast and countryside. The property owners live in the adjacent house and were very welcoming and helpful during our stay. We would definitely stay at Pump House for any future breaks in the area.

Gorgeous cottage, can’t fault it.

Amazing huge private grounds that they generously let us use to walk our dog. Hot tub is great, and has wonderful views over the grounds. Great location for walks and getting to the south coast.

Pump House was perfect for our week's stay in East Sussex.

The house was ideal for the two of us, plus our dog. The property was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean upon arrival. The fully enclosed garden to the rear was great to sit out in with the dog perfectly safe. The grounds beyond, with its woods, three ponds and lake are simply amazing to wander around at your leisure. Pump House is perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding area. Battle Abbey and Senlac Hill, Pevensey and its castle, Herstmonceux Castle, Rye, Lewes and Brighton are all within easy reach and well worth a visit. If you want to venture further into West Sussex, then Fishbourne Palace's Roman mosaics, and Arundel are worth seeing too.

Third year in this accommodation.

Everything perfect as usual. Lovely, spacious open plan living room/dining room/kitchen downstairs. Comfortable, airy bedroom with separate dressing room upstairs. Large TV with good selection of channels and a very comfy settee to watch it from. Well equipped with all mod cons including WiFi. Pleasant garden, large enough for our two dogs to lounge about in and an easy to use hot tub. Big bonus is the lovely grounds to walk dogs in. Rural but near main roads to beaches and tourist spots. Owners are very friendly and are at hand if needed but let you get on with it otherwise. Highly recommended.

Lovely accommodation with great views and in a quiet area.

Loved the hot tub and used it every day! Nice walk to the local pub. The hosts were welcoming and very helpful. We took our two dogs with us and very dog friendly

The only gripe I had, was the shower.

It was more like a trickle than a shower. Most of the other places I've stayed in have a power shower fitted which is more beneficial.

The accommodation is excellent and clean and fresh throughout. The hosts are brilliant and incredibly helpful. In addition to the garden, visitors can use the surrounding private woodland and lakes. Excellent for dog walking and relaxing. Easy access to local pubs, restaurants and attractions. We have already booked for next year.

One of the best cottages we have stayed in.

It was very well equiped (every thing we needed) For two pepole, large, warm (in Febuary) and comfortable, with a hot tube which was heated for us on arrival.. Great location and you can use the owners four acre garden and wood. If you have a dog and like walking, this cottage would suit you. Lots of footpaths in the area. The owners were very frendly and also have dogs.

Great place for a couple looking for a peaceful getaway but with easy access to the south coast and plenty of other places to visit.

Would of given it 5 stars if the garden was accessible from the house (not good early hours of the morning when the dogs needed to go out ) or to get to the hot tub which was preset at 37 degrees which was not quite hot enough for us In the October temperatures

Accommodation perfect, well furnished and clean. Large but cosy open plan living room and kitchen downstairs with comfy settee and huge TV. Kitchen very well equipped. Lovely airy bedroom with comfy bed upstairs with great views of the grounds. A few steps from the front door takes you to your own garden big enough for two dogs to run around in. There’s a hot tub which is easy to use and a blessing after a hard days walking. Rural and quiet but handy for main road to visit gardens and beaches. Owners are a lovely friendly couple who are at hand if needed but otherwise let you get on with your holiday. Going back for a third time next year and can highly recommend.

We spent a lovely week at Pump House.

Enjoyed the grounds of the main house with space to exercise our dog. Very dog friendly hosts. After big days out visiting sites and long country walks it was great to relax in the hot tub with a glass of wine.

Lovely property in beautiful grounds.

Everything we needed was right there in the Pump House. The freezer and washing machine were especially useful hidden away in the cupboard under the stairs. Thanks again for decorating the place up for Mike's birthday.

We booked last minute and were so lucky to find this property. Everything was perfect, couldn't fault a thing. Fantastic grounds to walk round and walks very close by. Thank you to the owners for a relaxing stay. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely Christmas at the pump house.

Very comfortable with everything we needed including to make our Christmas dinner. Lovely bed and a great sofa to relax on. Despite the terrible weather there was one nice day that we were able to use the hot tub. Our first experience and it was lovely. The only slight negative is to be aware that the TV is just a TV. The internet speed is so slow you cannot stream anything. It would have been useful during our stay to be able to watch Netflix/ Amazon etc as the weather was so awful. This is the only thing missing from this lovely property.

A five star location, quiet, restful, the perfect retreat.

Everything you will ever need on site and if not just ask and you will get a quick responce me thinks from the great hosts. Thank you. Spent two weeks of bliss and would certainly recommend, really nice surroundings, huge garden with lakes to take your mind of any stress you may have and fenced in all round for large dogs, little ones watch in places with wildlife lifting fence. Plenty of attractions, nice fairly local pub The Bulls Head near Hertmoncux with great food every visit. Pump House and pub Highly recommend.

One of our best holidays.

We loved it here and so did our dog. What a treat waking up and starting your day with a stroll around the owners 10 acres! The property was well decorated and clean and the area in general had everything we needed to buy/visit.

We wanted a holiday which was relaxing and that's exactly what this place offers. Pump House is exceptionally beautiful and clean. The bed is so comfy we slept really well. Outside is so peaceful all you can hear is the birds. Superb scenery. Enclosed garden which we needed for our dog. Afternoons spent in the garden with glorious weather to sunbathe and relax in the hot tub. Even our reactive dog was more chilled than at home! Absolutely nothing to fault. We enjoyed it so much we booked for a third time within 3 days of returning home! See you next year and thanks again

Great place and particularly perfect for anyone with dogs.

Private fenced in area a few short steps from the front door with a dog guard provided for when we wanted to have the front door open. Large grounds for walking the dogs in the evening. Very well equipped kitchen and comfy settee for relaxing whilst watching the TV. Good shower and roomy bedroom with a dressing room adjoining. Washing machine a bonus as meant I didn’t have an huge washing to do on return home. Owners are lovely, on hand if needed but let us get on with holiday otherwise. Can’t recommend too highly. Planning to return next year.

The owner was lovely, we felt very welcome.

We had a really nice time at Pump House in its beautiful grounds where we were able to wander around and enjoy the wildlife which was great for our Cockapoo to enjoy the walks in.

The cottage was very comfortable and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for your holiday (including a bottle of wine/milk/dog biscuits on arrival) and was well placed to reach most places along the south coast including Hastings and Eastbourne. The owners were very welcoming and although we didn't need to contact them much during our stay they were always available if required. We would have no hesitation in booking Pump House in the future.

Would like to say we had a wonderful break.

The cottage and grounds were fantastic. The bottle of wine and milk was a nice to touch. They were very helpful in taking me to the garage to get oil for my car.

Almost perfect for us.

A few MINOR tweaks would make it so. The owners were away so we had rhe pump house and the beautiful grounds all to ourselves. A bottle of wine had been left for us as a welcome gift. A lovely touch. There was actually no cupboard for us to keep food in. A bread bin would have been good but everything was clean and we were very comfortable.

Would have been nice to have private access to your back garden.

Only access is your door to owners front garden which having a dog we had to keep door closed. We also found the sofas not very comfortable. Overall we had a great stay, Owners very friendly and accommodating.

The hosts, Pauline and Mike are lovely people and we enjoyed chatting to them while we were there. The house was well kitted out and everything was perfect. Our dog was welcomed and he enjoyed the closed in garden while we enjoyed the hot tub. The surrounding property has a beautiful garden with ponds and a forrest area - a credit to the hosts for maintaining such a beautiful garden.

Idyllic setting nestled amongst the countryside yet less than 10 minutes away from the local town for amenities.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Pump House as we used this as our base for the week of dog walking in and around the coast. The layout of the property was surprisingly spacious and the extensive private grounds were ideal for the dogs to have quick run morning and evening. The jacuzzi was a delight for soothing the aches after miles of walking, coupled with the extremely comfortable bed (seriously comfortable!) for ample recuperation ahead of another day of walking. Overall a very enjoyable experience and we would not hesitate to return again. Many Thanks!!

Have just had a relaxing and comfortable week at The pump House.

not only was the house clean comfortable and very quiet,it was set in the most lovely surroundings,also,felt extremely safe and secure. The owners were very helpful and although we didn’t see a lot of them always knew they were available in case we had any queries.would highly recommend

Lovely spotlessly clean cottage set in the owner’s beautiful grounds.

Even though the cottage is next to the owner’s house (detached), they give you a warm welcome, but then leave you alone, but are also there to help if needed. The cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need and is a real home from home. The enclosed garden (accessed via a very short path through a gate at the side of the cottage) is dog-friendly. The view from the garden is stunning, and coming back to the cottage after a day out sightseeing and exploring, and then chilling out in the hot tub looking at the amazing view is just what the doctor ordered! :)

Everything we wanted for our perfect holiday.

The cottage was very clean, super comfortable and well equipped. The cottage accepts dogs, we are not dog owners but you would never know a dog had been in this property. Located in a very quiet, peaceful setting. Lots of interesting places to visit within easy reach. A lovely warm welcome from Pauline. We really could not fault our stay. Thank you.

We had a really lovely experience and it was just what we needed to unwind.

The cottage was clean and inviting with lovely views. Everything was included for what we wanted and our dogs enjoyed the surrounding and country walks.

Was a lovely touch to walk in to the accommodation having Christmas decorations up and homemade mince pies waiting for us.

The lighting in the bathroom could have been more brighter .difficulty in seeing when shaving etc 2. A little concern over there being only one door in and out of property ie if there was a fire there is no other way out. Otherwise a clean well looked after property with excellent heating during our stay in the bitterly cold weather, owners very helpful and bags of room in the property grounds which our German shepherd loved to run

Beautiful property, clean, comfortable and in a perfect location to explore the area.

Having the hot tub was a lovely touch and we thoroughly enjoyed using it, even though the temperatures plummeted during our stay. Having such wonderful grounds, was an added bonus to walk the dogs first thing in the morning or at the end of the day. Overall a fabulous stay, we would highly recommend and consider returning again. A lamp in the lounge would have been great to add some light, when the spot lights (which were very bright) were not on, and perhaps a stair-gate to stop the dogs going upstairs would of been of help. This did not make our holiday any less enjoyable, but felt it may be a helpful suggestion for future guests.

Had a fantastic week away at the pump house.

The house itself is just what you need for a couples holiday with access to the picturesque grounds and a wonderful view of them from the hot tub. Pauline and Michael are fantastic hosts with useful information about the grounds and local areas.

Overall we had a lovely time at the pump house.

Pauline was super helpful and the home was clean and cosy. We definitely will be staying again. The wifi was a bit unstable but that’s to be expected as it is a rural area. The tv was a bit temperamental too but we came to relax and enjoy the countryside so not a big deal for us.

We stayed at the cottage to use as a base for visiting family we had not seen for a while, and it was an excellent place to stay: warm, comfortable and everything we needed.

Having a dog friendly garden in quiet and picturesque setting with seating and hot-tub was a treat. Good area for walking and easy access to countryside and coast. We hope to return next year. .

We had the most wonderful stay at the Pump House.

It’s set in the most idyllic grounds, which include three beautiful ponds and woodland. The Pump House is central to lots of local attractions including Herstmonceux Castle, Birling Gap, Seven Sisters and Battle Abbey. I would highly recommend staying here, you’ll find it clean, very comfortable and perfect for a relaxing stay. Pauline and Michael are wonderful and helpful hosts.

A beautiful property with a bottle of wine on arrival, made a lovely touch.

Wonderful location, the 10 acres available to you during your stay combined with the hot tub are fab. Really enjoyed our time and would recommend, the dog could not get enough of the freedom to run. It is remote, but also offers the ease where you can venture out and about and get to places easily. Thank you to Pauline and Michael.

Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as did the dogs who are completely exhausted. Beautiful, peaceful, clean place and I tried to book again for next year but alas already booked. Don't miss out. I'll def return. Loved it

What a delightful cottage.

Everything in there you need, some reviews mention no dishwasher but certainly for us this was not an issue, there is a stand alone fridge and a seperate freezer which is good (no little icebox in a small fridge that is no go to anyone). There is a huge flat screen TV with one of the most comfortable settees I have sat on to watch it from, although so peaceful in the garden and with a super hot tub that is easily big enough for 4 people that you probably will not watch much TV. Pauline and Michael were great hosts and despite living very close by left yourselves to yourselves but always available for any issues (of which there were none). We really want to visit as any coastal places in UK as we can so do not normally return to a cottage but this will probably be an exception.

The Pump House is a delight.

The property is perfect, set in glorious peaceful grounds with just the birds to listen to. We enjoyed a fabulous two weeks indulging in both its comfort and its calm. If you want a totally relaxing experience, I would highly recommend the Pump House. Pauline and Michael were great hosts and struck the perfect balance. We will most definitely be returning.

This cottage had everything we could want.

It was a beautiful cottage in a lovely place. The weather was glorious which obviously helped, but we would have enjoyed it in any weather. Lovely week away. Hope to return.

The Pump House is a truly lovely cottage set amongst the most beautiful garden.

They also left an advent calendar, wine and mince pies for us. We visited a number of different places during our stay and then made use of the hot tub to relax in the afternoons and evenings. Lovely week stay at Pump House.

The view from the property into the surrounding garden and onto the horizon was beautiful and the location so peaceful. Having a hot tub at the rear of the cottage was a lovely indulgence to use at the end of the day to soak up the location. It was a home away from home, with the cottage being spacious and providing everything we needed. Great location to explore High Weald AONB and the south coast with farm shops, pubs and walks close by. Perfect for a romantic, relaxing week away for a couple.

It had everything you could wish for and more. It was so peaceful surrounded by the beautiful countryside. The owners were most welcoming and easy to chat to but gave you your privacy. Beautiful, tranquil setting.

Ideally situated for exploring the area. We were fascinated by the variety of bird life that visited the garden. The hot tub was a joy after a hard days sightseeing.

We have just returned from a relaxing week at the superb Pump House.

The owners are very friendly and the property was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and had everything and more we could have wanted. It's so peaceful and we slept really well, the weather wasn't always kind but to be honest it was lovely just getting away from work and really chilling out for the week at Pump House. The garden is totally enclosed so we didn't have to worry about our dog escaping and we enjoyed the hot tub with a gin or two! Plus you can walk in the owners grounds. Thank you for a lovely week and the extra goodies, we hope to come back again one day.

Feeding the Carp was a rare treat . Chill out in the hot after energetic day. Pauline & Michael the owners live next door but still private , were friendly & helpful . Only about 30min from the Coast . Will stay again when visiting our Family . The only thing we didn't enjoy was having to go home !

We were lucky with the weather so enjoyed time in the garden looking at the views and the birds.

There are good walks straight out of the house in the woods and in the fields and on the Cuckoo Trail. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. Michael and Pauline were great hosts. The only request might be a dishwasher! Many thanks

They welcomed us with Christmas decorations along with a tree and mince pies, they even left biscuits for our dog. Our stay was amazing just what we needed. The surrounding area is full of country walks and you can find plenty of places to stop for lunch. The owners allow access to their garden which is beautiful. We will definitely be placing The Plump House in our places to re visit.

The Pump House was beautifully clean, well furnished & with all the comforts you would expect.

My husband & I had a wonderfully relaxed getaway with our two dogs. The property has a safe enclosed garden with a hot tub, dog wash & outside seating. There is a bonus of the owners 10+ acres which has lakes & a wood, which they kindly allow you to walk your dogs on. I cannot fault the property. The owners have gone above & beyond. Thank you !

The pump house was in the ideal location that we were looking for.

Perfect size for 2 adults the hot tub was just what we need after a day out shopping and exploring the towns and villages close by. Michael and Pauline the owners left us a nice bottle of wine on our arrival and i would recommend the pump house to our friends and family.

Immaculate cottage in ten acres of beautiful grounds.

Took our two little dogs and added benefit of enclosed garden. Hot tub to relax and take in peace and quiet. The cottage and garden is situated directly next to the owners property, which was not a problem as owners very friendly, but we personally would have preferred something a little more private but that is just our personal preference.

The pump house was amazing.

Host Pauline and Michael were very welcoming the gifts left for us and our 2 dogs were very nice. The pump house had everything we needed from milk to cleaning stuff. The grounds were amazing to walk round and it is in perfect position to reach all the coast we wanted to visited. We loved it and so did Bob and Sid our dogs thank you for a lovely week

We had a lovely time at The Pump House.

It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The hot tub was available to us at any time in our own private garden. The owners grounds were amazing and we were able to walk in them for most of the day. (the owners walk their own dogs in the grounds for just a few hours a day) Our dogs had a wonderful time exploring the grounds. The wildlife is wonderful, especially the birds. We went to sleep every night listening to the owls.

The Pump House is in a wonderful secluded spot and had a fantastic hot tub.

Looking up at the stars and planes we were able to enjoy it and relax during our stay there. The cottage was immaculate, so clean, the bed was comfy and there was everything we needed. The owners were friendly and on hand if we needed anything. An ideal location to explore the south coast.

It was the most peaceful holiday we have had.

The grounds around the cottage where beautiful lots of wild life . The local community were very friendly. Will be returning next year.

Pump house cottage was a brilliant base for exploring East Sussex.

The facilities were excellent especially having a nice hot tub to relax in every night. The hosts were great and their gardens were beautifully kept. Dog friendly as were the local pubs . Would highly recommend.

This place is magical.

The pump house is gorgeous but it's the grounds that really make this place special. We visited as a couple with two large dogs and could not have picked a better place to stay. Loved it.

The Pump House was an excellent base from where to explore the area, and a lovely place to come back to each evening.

We had the best week for weather, so that really helped us getting out and about. Bexhill and Eastbourne are both great promenades to walk along to get a nice cooling breeze.

A really wonderful cottage in the owners grounds of 10 acres.

Extremely quiet, excellent cottage, everything required and the hosts are very friendly. TV has Netflix for guests to log into their account. Fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, cooker. Guests garden with hot tub. We love this place and nothing has come up to the high standards of The Pump House for us.

What is there not to like?

We loved staying at the Pump House.

I am not sure I have ever stayed at a cottage that was so well equipped. It exceeded our expectations in terms of the kitchen equipment, and in particular it had a full freezer, microwave and washing machine which a lot of places do not have. The sofa was super comfy. We have an escape artist dog, and the garden is properly secured with wire as well as post and rails all the way round. I had no worries that my dog would escape from the garden, usually I feel the need to keep him on the lead when I am away just in case he finds a gap in the fence. There were no issues with enough hot water for showers and there were DVDs and books left for the evening plus lots of leaflets and maps for days out and walking. The owners are really friendly and took the trouble to text us on the day of arrival to clarify the key arrangements. The hot tub was always hot and ready to use, and very straightforward to uncover and re-cover after use, with instructions left. The location is great for walking and pub lunches with part of the cuckoo trail close by. Beaches and the Downs are about 20 - 30 minutes away depending on which bit of the coast you choose. And finally, a bird feeder was kept topped up hanging from the apple tree next to the garden whilst we were there. The main visitors were woodpeckers but it also attracted squirrels and some birds that I had never seen before. It was very entertaining watching their antics from the garden or the hot tub! We enjoyed our stay at the Pump House. I am sure we will return again and I have no hesitation in recommended the property as a base for exploring the Sussex coast and for a dog friendly holiday.

I think it would be fair to say that the hot tub is exclusive use but not completely private as it is in the owners' grounds and they may pass/ be out in the grounds whenever a guest happens to be in the tub.

Having said that, they were extremely discreet and friendly so this wasn't a problem for us. The surrounding woods were an absolute delight full of wood anenomes and bluebells - gorgeous!

The Pump House Cottage was the ideal base to explore the beautiful countryside of Sussex.

The cottage was cosy, comfy and spotlessly clean.Our hosts Pauline and Michael were very friendly and helpful and kind enough to leave us a bottle of wine and treats for our dog. The cottage has an ideal enclosed garden for your dog to enjoy a run around. The Pump House has the bonus of a fantastic hot tub which overlook the beautiful grounds and where you can enjoy starry night views.We would definitely recommend The Pump House.

We have had a wonderful week at the pump house.

It was everything we hoped it would be and more. Michael and Pauline were a lovely couple who met us on arrival and were there to help if required. We had a lovely bottle of wine awaiting us and doggy biscuits for our little jack russell Gem.There was milk in the fridge and all the little extras to start the week off well. The cottage was delightful . beautifully clean warm cosy and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful too and a delight to walk around with our dog.We enjoyed our dip in the hot tub every day which was a lovely extra. There were plenty of lovely walks on the doorstep and lots of places to visit within a short distance.We loved it so much that we have booked up again and cannot wait to return . A real gem. This is definitely a 5 star property with plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. We would definitely book this cottage again.

We had a truly lovely relaxing holiday, great garden for our two to be let of their leads to wander, lovely grounds to also relax and take them for a walk in. I have never know a week pass so quickly. There is also plenty of places to visit where dogs are welcomed, although the beaches are shingle, and probably not dog friendly, we were never at a loss as to what to do. Will definitely be returning next year. Nearly forgot to mention, the owners are also delightful Thanks

A lovely comfortable place to stay, would highly recommend.

Hot tub was great. Only down point was the WiFi connection, very intermittent.

We were met/greeted on arrival by Pauline and Micheal.

On entering this cottage we were extremely impressed by the cleanliness and layout of the place. A welcome gift was waiting for us including our dog and the little things such as milk, tea and coffee, toilet roll were present. It’s a small neat cottage for two and very nice indeed. Tv is included and one is able to sign in to your personal Netflix account if you have one. Wi Di was not good but the tv worked fine. We made use of our mobile WiFi for our week stay. Everything is supplied including rotary clothes line, parasol, two metal garden chairs (not loungers) and picnic table. Fridge, freezer, microwave etc. We made a couple of suggestions to the owners. One being two comfy loungers for the garden, and also replacing the bed mattress as the edges have slightly worn, giving one the feeling of falling off the edge. The small garden including a fabulous hot tub was great and we enjoyed this so much we stayed on sight for most of our week. The 10acres of grounds including lakes and wildlife was made available to us for our stay. Times for walking in them were clearly laid out in the information pack, as the owners also have dogs to walk. All in all I would highly recommend this cottage. 5***** definately.

A beautiful little cottage in the middle of the Sussex countryside.

Really comfortable furniture and very well equipped. The hot tub in the garden was very welcome at the end of the day and the owners grounds were great for walking the dogs early in the morning.

there is restrictions on when you can go into the owners grounds with or without pets, turning cars to go out is tight and care must be taken as large traveler van parked next to pump house door.

The Pump House was spotlessly clean and a lovely welcome pack left for us (including flowers, wine and buiscuits for our dogs!

). The garden was safe and well fenced in, complete with a hot tub and the most wonderful grounds for long walks beyond. Dogs adored all! (and snow........) We have two Newfoundlands who had plenty of space within the house & a perfect spot for beds had been left for them. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners - who fortunately love large dogs! A great spot for us all. Sadly we decided to cut our holiday short due to very heavy snow and our concerns for reaching home - would like to say a huge thankyou to Pauline for checking we were warm and safe, which we certainly were - temperature fantastic as were all the facilities (television so good have bought one like it on return!) This cottage is a real gem.

A beautifully converted cosy cottage with everything you could need for your stay. The hot tub is a bonus and the generous owners allow you to make use of their extensive grounds. We stayed over Christmas and the cottage was nicely decorated for us complete with Christmas tree. The location is good, with many country walks on your doorstep. The views over the South Downs Way are worth a short trip too. You won't go wrong booking a week at the Pump House.
