  • "If I owned this property I wouldn't rent it out because I'd live there permanently myself."

The location is amazing, Pevensey Bay is a well kept secret. I don't think I would ever get tired of staring out at the view. We walked every day along the beach and made it as far a Cooden Bay in one one direction and Eastbourne Sovereign Harbour in the other. The house is very well appointed, comfortable, clean and modern with good quality furniture and appliances. It felt like a home from home and I didn't want to leave. We meet the owner, Karen, who is a lovely lady and was keen to listen to any feedback, she obviously cares about giving guests the best experience. This property is definitely on our list of places we would love to return to.

  • "Buckets and spades is a wonderful property."

Clean , spacious and modern. Spectacular views. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 out of 5 is that for us as a family the beach wasn’t really kid friendly, it’s perfect for swimmers and boats etc but not so much for letting little ones paddle and swim. When it’s high tide it’s obviously very deep very quick ( to be expected ) and at low tide the clay and rocks made it impossible to enjoy. This has no reflection on the property that was fabulous !

  • "The property is as good as the pictures as advertised, can't fault location or facility's."

Beech was very quite out side the property the occasional passer by. A small well stocked shop a stones throw away, in town a selection of takeaways/restaurants and shops I guess they listened to an earlier review as two new sun loungers were in the utility room. The chinese in pevensey had a gluten free selection and our friends said the Mediterranean restaurant was good.

Many Thanks, for your lovely feedback. Property Owner

  • "Just back from a fabulous week at Bucket & Spades, which is perfectly situated, direct on the beach."

The weather was great and enabled us to sit out, enjoy the sunshine, whilst looking at the amazing sea views ( just missing a couple of sun loungers)

I am glad to hear you enjoyed your time at Bucket and Spades and we hope to see you here again in the future. I can confirm our property now has 2 Sun Loungers. Property Owner

  • "Fabulous accommodation, perfect for our family holiday (with grown up children and partners) as three bedrooms with individual bathrooms."

Well equipped kitchen, we ate in every evening, managed a roast for Fathers day! Plenty of space to relax and unwind Fantastic location, Pevensey Bay is definitely a best kept secret, the bay is beautiful, so unspoilt yet so accessible. Loads to do within easy driving or train distance, depending on your preference, we visited lots of castles

Many thanks for your wonderful comments! Property Owner

  • "Superb in every way."

It was a privilege to stay in this fabulous luxurious beach side home with fantastic sea views, beautiful internal decor, and 2 fab big tv’s. Everything needed was thought of, and the space and quality in the house was luxurious. Comfortable double beds in en suite bedrooms. Glorious peaceful sleep. There’s lots to do and see in the local area, and the small town of Pevensey Bay has some lovely restaurants and cafes.

Much appreciated your comments and love to welcome you back sometime! Property Owner

As you make your way upstairs, quirky artwork lines the staircase, adding character as the house unfolds across its three floors.

On the second floor, you'll find two further bedrooms; one double features additional artwork, a mirrored wardrobe and a nautical‑inspired en‑suite with a rainfall shower, while the master king‑size bedroom is a calm and inviting retreat.
