    We had a fantastic week. The local area was lovely and very friendly, especially Pauline and Paul the owners. We really loved looking at their gorgeous horses and the wildlife in the surrounding fields. Would definitely like to stay here again for future breaks

  • "Fabulous week at Calvin's cottage ,Pauline was always on hand working with the horses if we needed any advice , the cottage was immaculate and a perfect location with local shops very nearby ,the fields were full of wildlife with young rabbits and foxes ,all in all a very comfortable stay and a very nice break ."

  • "Excellent quiet out of the way place to relax, the only thing we found a little annoying was the loud noise of the hot water pump every time you turned a tap on."

  • "Calvin's Cottage is a fabulous place to stay."

    It is well equipped and beautifully decorated and the owners are really helpful. We stayed for two weeks, with our dog, and found it warm and cosy but also with plenty of space. It was great to access to the fields and lots of green space to walk the dog. We could not have been happier with our choice.

  • "An absolutely lovely cottage."

    Pauline and Paul have thought of everything to make guests welcome. And I received a text on the first day to see if there was anything further we needed. The cottage was clean and very well equipped. And a wonderfully quiet location to get away from the noises of the city. Highly recommend.

  • "Having just been converted it was a shiny and new accommodation to a high standard."

    If you're looking for a quiet bolt hole for a romantic getaway then this is a nice peaceful location with the added bonus of the sound of two horses in the stables. The hosts were accommodating and helpful with any issues or questions and the home made gin and vodka was a nice touch.

  • "We had the most amazing few days at Calvin's Cottage."

    It is stunning and has been beautifully done. There was everything we needed and more. It was a lovely surprise to have a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us together with home made blackberry jam in the fridge and home made blackberry vodka and gin. I would recommend this property 100%. I can't say enough good things about it, it's perfect.

The Old Dairy Pods And Calvin's Cottage

These four abodes enjoy a fabulous location within a lovely plot of land in the lovely village of Yapton. Presented to a lovely standard with a private patio area and off-road parking spaces, these little homes are an ideal escape for couples looking for a break from normality. It sits just outside the South Downs National Park with the River Arun winding through it. The town is known for its thriving events calendar with independent shops, contemporary art galleries, restaurants, cafes, delightful drinking spots and great attractions. Leisure pursuits include walking across the South Downs to canoeing, boating or cycling; there is something for everyone in Arundel! Arundel Castle is open to the public from April to October, whilst Arundel Cathedral stands majestically over the town and is open every day.
