Calvin's Cottage

A beautiful, well appointed, spacious cottage.

We wanted to book it again for next year but somebody beat us to it!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Calvin's Cottage.

Everything about it is excellent. The cottage was very clean. The car parking is easy. The Welcome Hamper was lovely and a very welcome surprise! The 2 horses that live at the Old Dairy provided daily entertainment and kept me company for the week. Spectacular countryside and beautiful beaches are within easy reach! I would definitely book again. Can highly recommend.

We love Calvin's Cottage, it's comfortable and very quiet, tucked out of the way from any busy roads, but within easy reach of shops, the beach and hiking trails.

Calvin’s Cottage is a single storey property with its own gravel garden.

Very good for dogs! It is next door to a beautiful church. The cottage had every facility necessary - very well appointed. Pauline is a friendly hands on host. Great stuff!!

Excellent well equipped and spacious accommodation for two.

The good weather meant we were able to relax in the private small outside area.The property is nicely positioned down a quiet lane but within easy walking distance of the recreation park which was perfect for dog walking and the local shops.

Calvin’s Cottage was a lovely place to stay, comfortable and very well equipped.

We especially appreciated the thoughtful and delicious treats. The cottage is well situated to easily explore Sussex. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wow what a wonderful place to stay in best yet out of all the cottages we have stayed with on Sykes lovely owners and great surroundings our dog Buddy also loved the great field to run about in can’t wait to go back

Calvin’s Cottage is a delight.

It is light and airy, well equipped and warm and comfortable - even in January. Pauline, our host, was so welcoming and gave us recommendations about local pubs and places to visit. Good location for both Arundel and nearby beaches, which our dog loved.

Quiet location within easy reach of Arundel and the coast. Perfect getaway for couples. Very welcoming host, would highly recommend staying here.

Property was immaculate and done to a very high standard, location was great tucked away but still close to local village ,on arrival greeted with some essentials like bottle of presco and homemade gin and vodka,oh and milk,jam,tea and coffee, will definitely be back.

We stay in holiday cottages a few times a year with our dog and I have to say Calvin’s Cottage is the highest spec we have stayed in It was so clean and had everything we could ask for and it was well placed to visit West Sussex The hosts were very helpful with ideas of places to go I couldn’t recommend Calvin’s Cottage enough and hope to return

Love this cottage, it's situated in a quiet spot yet within easy reach of the beaches and country walks.

We've used this property twice now and will definitely be back. The property owner is very welcoming and we love seeing the horses. Great getaway spot for any couple.

The property was as good or better than Sykes description on line, fitted out to a high specification.

The owner welcomed us and would stop for a chat without being intrusive. A quiet location with easy access to the Sussex coast and South Downs.

Beautiful cottage which was spotlessly clean and comfortable.

We had a fantastic week. The local area was lovely and very friendly, especially Pauline and Paul the owners. We really loved looking at their gorgeous horses and the wildlife in the surrounding fields. Would definitely like to stay here again for future breaks

Fabulous week at Calvin's cottage ,Pauline was always on hand working with the horses if we needed any advice , the cottage was immaculate and a perfect location with local shops very nearby ,the fields were full of wildlife with young rabbits and foxes ,all in all a very comfortable stay and a very nice break .

A brilliant cottage, for our holiday, loved it, so comfortable and well equipped.

Excellent quiet out of the way place to relax, the only thing we found a little annoying was the loud noise of the hot water pump every time you turned a tap on.

Other than that it's a lovely little cottage.

Easy to book, easy to find with the instructions given, beautiful location and the house had everything we needed, A lovely garden at the back which was a sun trap.

We really enjoyed our stay.

We have been looking for somewhere to go for weekend breaks that we can return to again and again... And I think we've found it!

Calvin's Cottage is a fabulous place to stay.

It is well equipped and beautifully decorated and the owners are really helpful. We stayed for two weeks, with our dog, and found it warm and cosy but also with plenty of space. It was great to access to the fields and lots of green space to walk the dog. We could not have been happier with our choice.

An absolutely lovely cottage.

Pauline and Paul have thought of everything to make guests welcome. And I received a text on the first day to see if there was anything further we needed. The cottage was clean and very well equipped. And a wonderfully quiet location to get away from the noises of the city. Highly recommend.

We had the most amazing few days at Calvin's Cottage.

It is stunning and has been beautifully done. There was everything we needed and more. It was a lovely surprise to have a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us together with home made blackberry jam in the fridge and home made blackberry vodka and gin. I would recommend this property 100%. I can't say enough good things about it, it's perfect.

Having just been converted it was a shiny and new accommodation to a high standard.

If you're looking for a quiet bolt hole for a romantic getaway then this is a nice peaceful location with the added bonus of the sound of two horses in the stables. The hosts were accommodating and helpful with any issues or questions and the home made gin and vodka was a nice touch.
