What guests are saying
We had a lovely stay at Arden House.
The property was spacious enough for all nine of us - large bedrooms! The bonus cosy snug in addition to the ample sitting room (log fire!), gave everyone plenty of space to relax! The kitchen was a great size and ultimately had everything we needed though an air fryer would have been well used if it had been available; more than the microwave I'd say which wasnt used at all. Having a separate dining room was great for evening meals. The house was freshly decorated and comfortable throughout, making it an ideal base for our trip. A couple of minor points for improvement would be the shower pressure, which was very weak, and blinds in two of the en suites would have been appreciated. We also found the bath towels provided on the small side, although we'd come prepared with our own bath sheets. Kingussie itself has a small grocery store, some nice wee tourist shops, coffee stops and a few bars too! Great chippy on the high Street (Joes), which we used on the last night. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Arden House and will definitely be back.
Very spacious and well located, comfortable for multiple families sharing (every room is an en suite with good sound isolation)
The House was wonderful, unfortunately the curtain rail in twin bedroom collapsed when trying to close the curtains that first night.
Phoning the numbers for the managing agents didn’t gain response until , after multiple messages the Monday when that and the broken ironing board were dealt with. Other than a shortage of large mixing bowls (we bake a lot), every else was perfect, it a great house the rooms and facilities some of the best we’ve experienced in Scotland or Wales. The village itself is charming and filled with some of the friendliest people. Would recommend this for people wanting to take a break in a Scottish Village.
