This property is exceptional.

We felt privileged to stay in such an historic house that had been restored beautifully and to such a high standard. The view over the loch was amazing and the dog proof garden was perfect for our two dogs. The welcome pack was especially appreciated. We are looking forward to returning as soon as we can. A real treat to stay in this National Trust property.

Accommodation was first class with everything that could reasonably be provided in place - including a sample from the local distilleries!

Absolutely faultless and would have no hesitation in recommending.

This is a fantastic property in an amazing place.

The house was bigger than expected and was well laid out with the master bedroom, main bathroom and sitting room upstairs. The kitchen, a second bathroom and a large twin bedroom were downstairs. All main rooms had views over the loch where we could watch the tide rising and falling and multiple bird species. The garden has a wall around it but it’s not secure for an adventurous or energetic dog and the adjacent road can be quite fast. But there are many wonderful dog walks nearby. Everyone we encountered was super friendly and it was lovely to have 24 hour access to the gardens nearby. We loved our time at this cottage and didn’t want to leave.
