This is one of the best holiday lets I have ever stayed in, modern, clean and comfortable with every facility, close to lovely places to visit, and with marvellous views.

A beautiful place,loved the location,the cottage was super clean,had everything you could need,after exploring skye it was a joy to come back and sit outside to watch the wildlife in the back garden,saw oyster catchers,otters,all on the loch,we had a great week weather wise too how lucky were we.

We’ve just returned from the most amazing holiday at Cuillin Shores Cottage, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for more.

From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and at home. The cottage is absolutely beautiful — spotless, cosy, and so well equipped, with everything you could possibly need for a perfect getaway. The location is stunning. Waking up to the sea air and peaceful surroundings was exactly what we needed. Whether it was enjoying a morning coffee looking out at the view, or winding down in the evening after a day exploring, it was pure bliss. It’s clear how much care and thought the owners have put into this place. Everything is finished to a high standard, and all the little touches really made our stay feel special. Communication was excellent too — friendly, helpful, and nothing was ever too much trouble. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already talking about when we can come back for the third time. Cuillin Shores Cottage truly is a hidden gem, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to stay on Skye. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mr Lodge

Lovely well-equipped modern house, well situated for exploring Skye.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week here and were fortunate enough to see an otter, sea eagle and aurora from the lounge, as well as some lovely double rainbows over the loch and Cuillins. We visit Skye annually - this was our first stay at Cuillins Shores and it will now be our first choice for future visits.

Cuillin Shores is the perfect place to stay on Skye.

Apart from the stunning views and the handy location, the house itself is beautiful, immaculately cleaned and has everything you could possibly need. Nina, the owner, is always very responsive and super thoughtful. This has been my third stay and I didn’t want to leave. You can’t go wrong with this property!

A very comfortable property In an ideal position if you are looking for peace and quiet.

The kitchen is well equipped and spotless.plenty of hot water and heating if needed.It was lovely to be so near to the shore and quite central to visit and explore all of the island.

The location is wonderful; the views are amazing.

It is only 10 mins from town but feels much more remote. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Beautiful cottage and location.

Excellent quality furnishings and equipment. It's clear that a lot of love has gone into this home. But we had a neighbour complain on day one that they were angry we were there because they wanted privacy. The two houses are very close. And the listing didn't mention the salmon farm a few hundred metres away, which had a noisy generator / pumps 24/7 - like a lorry on idle. Also, the driveway was very steep shingle, and turning around was scary in a hire car. Finally, nearly two weeks after checking out, we still haven't heard whether we left the property clean enough to get our £150 'good housekeeping deposit' back, which is frustrating. We didn't enjoy having to spend hours scrubbing a property we had paid so much to stay in, and prior to our stay we were unable to get answers as to what the 'good housekeeping deposit' was for / what was expected. Nor was it detailed in the property's manual.

Fantastic stay in your property, it felt like home from home.

The beds were comfortable and bedrooms really spacious with plenty of hanging space. The kitchen was well equipped and the washing machine was so handy. Views were fantastic, it’s so peaceful, thanks for a wonderful stay

Fabulous holiday let, well equipped, and a great location from which to explore all corners of the Isle of Skye.

The views of the loch, the hills to the west and the islands to the east were a pleasure to wake up to every morning, whether covered in cloud, mist, or in glorious sunshine. The house is situated to offer full privacy and yet is within easy access of many sights and facilities on the island. After a full day out and about, the house was a lovely, comfortable, welcoming place to return to.

The most perfect place with the most beautiful views.

The accommodation had everything we needed and we all made the most of the binoculars spotting the wildlife! All our hearts were a bit heavier when we had to leave.

We loved our stay at Cuillin Shores.

The property is spacious, well-designed, fully equipped, full of light and glorious views of the surroundings. For exploring the island it's perfectly located near the middle, meaning most sites are within 30-40 mins drive. And for days when the weather meant we stayed in, it was a pleasure to spend time in the property and to enjoy the views of the loch and mountains.

This is such a beautiful cottage with beautiful views.

It's so peaceful here; everything has been thought out to the last detail. We can see that a lot of thought has gone into equipping the cottage with very tastefull furnishings and useful items for the holiday. We loved sitting and watching the wildlife and enjoyed the occasional adventure onto the loch in our inflatable. This is not a criticism, but adding an EV charging port or outside socket at the drive end for those of us with electric vehicles would be amazing. Phil Reets Paul Ali. Lincolnshire

A really lovely home, with absolutely everything that you might need for your stay.

Great location for visiting all of Skye. Great watching the otters right outside the door!

Location perfect, quiet and set away from the road.

The views were outstanding. A lovely property, very spacious and clean. It had everything we needed and more. Cleaning and washing/drying facilities (although we did not use them) were provided including detergent. Full size dishwasher and plenty of crockery meant we only used it twice, we took our own dishwasher tablets but there were some provided if needed. There was two of us and only used downstairs rooms. The property was big enough to accommodate a family of 6. Minor negative was the very steep driveway which may be an issue if it is icy.

Absolutely lovely cottage: spacious, clean, tidy, and comfortable.

And we had a wonderful time seeing otters, seals, and all manner of water birds down on the loch. Would definitely return.

The property had everything we could possibly need for a great holiday - the location was incredible, made a great base for exploring the island - we were very sad to leave!!

Lovely and comfortable cottage on the edge of the Loch.

Good location, well fitted out and quiet too as set beneath the A87. Weather typically Scottish Highlands, but that did not diminish our enjoyment. My constructive suggestion for improvement - clear the garden area down to the loch to make it a little more child friendly.

House was located on lake Modern, warm and everything you could ask for.

This was a beautiful property and was perfect t for a few couples to stay on a group get away.

Would love to return. Only improvement would be to provide some cooler duvets for some of us hot sleepers, and we always prefer 100% cotton bed linen too.

A fortnight in this lovely property was a real treat and a quiet haven from the increasingly busy island - and the motorhomes.

We avoided the honeypot sites and it’s still possible to find beautiful quiet locations. The weather was brilliant, giving great views of Skye’s dramatic scenery. We enjoyed boat trips from Elgol and Portree. Roger and Liz, Norfolk

The cottage was really well equipped and our stay was extremely comfortable it's position was ideal for exploring the island with a lovely view of the loch and even the Northern Lights one evening!

A beautiful, clean house in such an amazing setting.

A well kitted out kitchen and very comfortable beds. We were lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins/porpoises on the far side of the loch; seals basking just along the shoreline; herons flying to and fro and even luckier to watch a sea otter having his fishy lunch. Thank you for the welcoming tea tray and the opportunity to stay in such a wonderful place.

A beautifully maintained house with everything we needed, on the shores of Loch Ainort.

Large windows in the living room overlook the loch and the stunning scenery, which changes mood throughout the day. Some members of our party were difficult to entice out of the house because of those peaceful views. We saw the heron daily and otters playing in the waters plus lots of little birds. A real home from home and we'd love to come back.

It is extremely well situated for exploring this Isle of Skye and Rassay Island. It offers home to home comfort and we would definitely recommend.

It is is a great location for exploring Skye, it's well worth a visit. The cottage is comfortable, cozy and well stocked. The views over the loch are great and if you're lucky, there's plenty of wildlife to spot too!

Property was clean and tidy and well equipped. Greeted by a family of three otters within hours of arrival who returned on most days. Highly recommend this property. Would go back there anytime!

Lovely cottage.

Well presented and spacious. Great Wi-Fi!! Very well equipped which made our stay very comfortable. As did the modern furniture. Fab location for exploring the whole island. Would highly recommend this cottage. And we would definitely like to stay here again if we came back to Skye. Only improvement we would have liked was better access to the water. Also, not sure if this is a Sykes thing but we don’t like having to strip beds when we’re on holiday. Especially with a 10am check out time!

We stayed for our honeymoon and had the best time ever.

We had a wonderful few weeks, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The fireplace, amenities and the surrounding area were just amazing. The location of the cottage was perfect for sightseeing, from the picnic table to surrounding walks, and it was perfect for getting around the island too, as it’s so close to the road (yet so quiet!). The cottage was immaculate, and very cosy - blankets, bedding and pillows all perfect! It felt like home from home. Even though it was just us two, the cottage offered many other rooms so it would be perfect for bigger families, too. So much was provided for us, from washing up packs to washing airers! We couldn’t fault our stay at all, and we are already planning on when we might come back for another stay! :-) Thank you for looking after us so well!

Very comfortable cottage with fabulous facilities that enable you to feel at home from the minute you arrive.

Location is perfect to enable you to see the island and the changing views of the loch with both sunrise and sunsets, is breathtaking. The owners have clearly thought of everything with books, games and all the little furnishing touches to ensure you have everything you need to make your holiday very special.

Stunning location, beautiful decor, amazing location.

Nicest holiday cottage I think I have ever stayed in. Will definitely be back as would like to catch a glimpse of the northern lights (great place for star gazing) and the elusive otter. Only improvement I could suggest would be a better path down to the beach, which the property next door seems to have.

House was extremely comfortable and very clean with great facilities. The only drawback was the parking. We only had one car. The driveway was steep and the turning area small. If we had had two cars it would have been very tricky. We coped but it was always a thought as to who was driving on our return to the cottage and who would park the car!

Cannot fault anything it was so nice to have stayed in the cottage which is surrounded by wonderful views .

Great place to be for Christmas and credit must go to the owner making sure people using the cottage were well looked after in every aspect.

The cottage was absolutely immaculate and perfect in every way.

The furnishings, towels and linen were all beautiful and we had everything we needed for a self catering stay. The weather was turning chilly but the cottage was extremely warm without heating of any sort. The location is superb and offers beautiful views across the water and mountains. Instructions for getting there were spot on. We would thoroughly recommend Cuillin Shores.

The house was so comfortable with the most amazing views.

The contemporary decor style was spacious and elegant. The facilities and location to Broadford gave max options for fuel, food and restaurants if required. We only wish we had booked more than 1 week.

This as an extremely well equipped cottage fitted out to a very high standard in a convenient central location.

Very nicely decorated cottage, with fantastic views over the loch.

Over the course of our week we saw dolphins, seals and various seabirds out of the living room windows. Great Wifi, but no Mobile signal for phones. Excellent showers, but found the halogen cooking hob challenging. Well positioned for the majority of the places we wanted to visit, and would definitely use again.

What can I say apart from exceptional.

This place was absolutely amazing and there is not one thing I would change. The location is great and very central for seeing everything on Skye, the cottage itself exceeded my expectations and at times it was hard to drag myself away from those amazing views. This is my third visit to Skye and I will at sometime return again and it will definitely be to this cottage.
