  • "We had an amazing week in this stunning house."

We were blessed with some beautiful weather so explored all the Islands spending a lot of time paddle boarding on the beautiful beach’s and going for long walks. The house was a perfect base to return to in a beautiful location. We enjoyed walking to the loch right from the house often visited by the ponies which the kids loved! The owner was very friendly and ensured everything was okay. House was clean and had everything we needed. Thank you so much for a wonderful week!

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Airigh nam Fiadh."

It’s a beautiful house with everything we needed and more. Allan was always available if there was any questions or queries which was very helpful. The house is in a great location and we enjoyed exploring the island and spending time at the beach. Thank you very much!

  • "This is one of the nicest self catering houses we have stayed in - it was really spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean."

We were just one family, but there would be ample space for a big group or couple of families. Allan was really helpful giving lots of local information, and nothing was too much bother for him. On the day we were leaving it was pretty windy and he messaged to let us know that if our ferry was cancelled that he would be able to put us up somewhere, so no need to worry, which we thought was really kind. We would definitely recommend the property and would return if we come back to Uist.

  • ""Very spacious, comfortable and well appointed accommodation" Perfectly located to access all of the islands with lots of wildlife right on your doorstep - Sea Eagles, Hen Harrier, Short eared Owl and Peregrine all seen from the garden!"

The games room added an extra dimension for family fun in the evenings. Can't recommend this property highly enough.

  • "A really bright, welcoming house."

Kitchen is extremely well appointed, even with baby cutlery! Right in the middle of Uist too, so easy to get to any part of the islands. Thank you Allan.

  • "This was our second visit to this outstanding property set in a rural location which is ideally situated in roughly the centre of the Uists, twixt north and south."

It's a spacious house with ample bathrooms, (en-suite and communal), sitting and social areas, a large kitchen and plenty of cupboards and storage space. The owner is nearby and is both knowledgeable about the Western Isles and accessible in case of any problems - fortunately, in our experience, rare problems! Even on inclement weather days we had plenty of space in which to settle down and read, play games or look through the large picture windows to be entertained by a resident owl that scanned the countryside at regular intervals. I'd recommend this property without hesitation.
