The one thing that let down this property was the garden, or should I say scrub-land.

If the owners are not prepared to put work into, then AstroTurf may be a good option. Everything else was very good. No welcome pack other than a few teabags and coffee pods.

We had a lovely weekend stay.

Excellent location for visiting Goodwood. The house was comfortable, spacious and well equipped. We had no issues with plumbing as others have commented. We don’t have a dog but the garden/area is perfect for dogs & pleasantly surprised the house did not smell of dogs. Would book again if in the area thank you.

The location of the property was ideally located for the many local attractions and was in a pleasant close with a small supermarket only five minutes walk away.

The house itself was clean and well presented. However, there were a number of issues that we experienced including a blocked toilet in the main bathroom which took many attempts at contacting the person responsible for maintenance before it was resolved, the requested single beds were not made up as such, the dishwasher door and stability of the machine need attention, the right hand oven did not appear to work although there was a second oven we could use, the garden was in a very poor state so we had no desire to sit outside, there were a vast number of glasses though barely enough crockery and cutlery. Some of the pans were in a very poor condition. For the first time in many years of staying at a self-catering facility, there was no welcome pack. Despite the above issues which need attention, we had a very enjoyable stay.
