Thank you to Angie and family for a comfortable week, in a lovely cottage.

Gardens are pretty and well maintained. Everything I needed - the lounge is a comfy, sunny room. Great the patio doors open onto views of rolling hills, nature and birdlife. Ideal spot to get around the area. Tucked away down a pretty track. I had a very enjoyable week

Good situation to reach the many places of interest in Dorset.

Property is subsiding on one corner so there is a strange sensation when walking down the hall. On the first night I felt I was rolling out of bed. In general it needs a lot of updating in the kitchen with a new fridge and decorating.

My Dad and I stayed for a week at the start of October and found Rycross Farm to be a very nice place to stay, clean, warm and comfortable.

The owners are friendly (thanks for the biscuits! :) and for the stay. You have privacy too. It's a very short drive into Shaftesbury, which has Barton Hill car park which is free and other car parks with free hours, then low charges. We were blessed with generally good weather and visited Shaftesbury, Old Wardour castle, Blandford Forum and Stourhead NT. As well as seeing some of the surrounding countryside. If we were ever to revisit the area again, which we hope to do, we would definitely consider again.
