We had a very peaceful stay at this beautiful cottage.

This was a return visit for our family as we had enjoyed it the first time.

It is an extremely beautiful property that has everything anyone could need on a stay away. For the younger kids - all you could need from cutlery through to bedding and a surprise Peppa treat! The proximity to Peppa Pig World obviously makes this a target property to stay, however there are lots of grown up places within range. Great place

We really felt welcome in the house.

There is plently of space and all required kitchen equipment was available. There were toys for the kids and neighbourhood was peacefully. We had a great stay.

Horseshoe Cottage is a wonderful home from home, the owner has equipped the property with all you need to make for a relaxing stay.

It is set in a beautiful peaceful location but with locations you wish to visit within easy reach. We have enjoyed our stay and if returning to holiday in the area again wouldn’t hesitate to book Horseshoe Cottage again. Absolutely beautiful

Highly recommend, my family stayed here for a week over Easter and we were welcomed with beautiful Easter bunnies and Easter treats and decor, my daughter was overjoyed with a pepper pig bed and toys, books everything a mum could need safety gates, bed guard, bath toys.

The place was warm, cosy, clean and such beautiful scenery. The owner was lovely and very helpful and welcoming. There’s a local shop which is a 2 minutes walk. Such a lovely holiday in a beautiful cottage!

Lovely accommodation in a quiet and convenient location.

Great first impressions, matching the photos and description perfectly. Clean, comfortable and well maintained. We found all the utensils we needed in the kitchen and there was plenty of nice crockery. Beds and sofas were comfy and carpets soft. Nice layout - rooms feel separate so eg one person can watch TV while somebody else reads quietly elsewhere. Would happily stay again if we decide to visit the area again.

The property is decorated beautifully throughout and was spotlessly clean. There was everything we could have needed with regards to kitchen equipment and appliances, which were all of a high standard and all very easy to use. My 3 young boys enjoyed the huge array of toys and games available. The property owners were extremely friendly, and on hand if needed. We highly recommend this property and also the Dorset Tank Museum, Finkley Farm Park and Portsmouth Historic Docks ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very good accommodation.

Steep staircase, kids and older folk advice, good facilities, pleasant house. Not near eating out pubs or restaurants but a local shop has ready made meals.

Having stayed here in the Autumn with friends, it was just perfect & so what we needed for a chilled weekend get-together.

The owner Caroline, certainly went above & beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The cottage was clean, immaculate and beautifully presented. It was so snug & warm on an evening with the log burner lit…would love to stay in the summer sometime though too. I’d definitely recommend Horseshoe Cottage.

Very well equipped with great attention to detail. Very dog and child friendly.

We were very happy with the location and the standard of horseshoe cottage my only worry was how steep the staircase was but that was easily managed.

Would highly recommend and will definitely return for another stay.

We had a comfortable stay at this clean and well equipped cottage.

The owner, Carol, was helpful and friendly. There is a lot to do in the area, especially if you love history and archaeology like me. Historic Amesbury, Stonehenge, Danebury hillfort and Salisbury are within a relatively short drive. There are also pleasant dog walking opportunities from the garden gate, and a very useful and well stocked shop only a stroll away.

This was probably my favorite rental ever, sobs that’s saying a lot because of stayed in some wonderful vacation rentals over the years.

The house was exactly what we needed. The decor was lovely ands inviting. The House was clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The location was great for us. The hostess/property owner was easy to contact when we accidentally blew a fuse with my mother in law’s voltage adapter (oops!). The only thing that could have been improved was the length of our stay! We wish we could have stayed longer! We hope to be able to return in the future!

Delightful well appointed, cosy and comfortable cottage.

A pleasure to come home to after our days out in the area. Good location. We visited Stonehenge, Army Flying Museum, Beaulieu Motor Museum, New Forest, Salisbury, the For your tomorrow - Standing with giants D Day rememberance installation at Fort Nelson - all within 30 - 45 mins of the cottage. We had a lovely week!

Absolutely perfect property!

Very clean, comfortable, warm and plenty of room for me and my two cycling friends. Probably the best property we have had in all the years of our annual cycling trips. Great location, great lanes for cycling and numerous nice pubs to refuel at in the evenings! A big thank you to the owners!

The only word to describe this property is "LUSH".

From when you enter the front door the cottage was warm and welcoming, the quality of the furnishings was superb and every amenity was available. We have never seen such a well equipped cottage. It had everything you could need apart from a "potato masher". The beds were so comfortable and I had the best nights sleep ever. The garden was secure and the dogs loved it. We cant wait to return. Thank you Carol for making our stay such a pleasant experience.

We've stayed in many cottage over the years and this was one of the best.

Beautifully and tastefully decorated and immaculately kept it's a true home from home. It's spacious with a large snug in addition to the large lounge. The WiFi is really good and stable. We were met by Rosie the border collie at the gate and taken to the door where she barked to let the owner Clare know we had arrived. Clare showed us round and nothing was too much trouble. The beds and bed linen are very comfy. The property is extremely dog friendly but there is a gap in the front garden hedge that a determined escapee (like my dog) could get through. However, the house is on a very quiet green that leads to another quiet green so it's a very safe area. There is a well stocked shop less than 10 minute walk from the house with everything you could need. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back as we have friends near by. Very relaxing and comfortable stay.

Suited us all. Everything we needed for a home from home stay. Granddaughter's enjoyed the bunk beds as a new experience for them. They loved the bath even when empty!. Plenty of games in the Snug. A lovely room. Spent a lot of time in the garden too. Stayed in more than going out as so comfy. Pepper Pig and Marwell Zoo were our only real trips out. Now looking at next summer to include 'The Shed' property next door so more family can come. Thank you Carol for having such a peaceful retreat for a holiday.

This cottage was probably the best equipped cottage for families that we have ever stayed at.

The owner had thought of every detail and if you have young children there is very little 'baggage' you would need to take. Being close to Peppa Pig world is an added bonus but you could consider staying here as a base for lots of other sightseeing trips in the area. The property is stunning and spotless. The aim of the owner is to create happy memories and you cannot fail to do this at Horseshoe Cottage. We will be back again for sure so now wondering why I am giving it a rave review. ...it may get too popular and I wont be able to get a booking!!!

We had a lovely stay here, the girls loved it especially the fact that there were 3 toilet bathroom.

Only challenge was the en-suite which had the walk-in bathroom without an enclosed entrance so we had the floor wet and also the smallness of the bathroom sink. Thanks Carol for a wonderful first experience on Sykes cottage.

Lovely cottage.

So quiet. Area great for walks. Dog loved it. Garden is secure for dog. Wished we could live somewhere as peaceful and beautiful. Only small criticism is the sinks in the bathrooms are impractical for washing, shaving etc. They are too small. Otherwise the cottage is amazing. So comfortable and practical.

It was extremely well equipped with everything one could need, and lots of extras. It has direct access to good dog walks, and within easy walking distance of the local village shop. We would highly recommend!

Found a little Gem in Hampshire. Cottage is well equip with more than expected & required, our two year old lived the Peppa Pig theme & toys, she also enjoyed playing in the garden & on the slide. Carol is very welcoming & we will be back in the future.

Absolutely beautiful Cottage in the most beautiful countryside of Hampshire.

Carol has thought of everything facilities wise and our 4 year old daughter loved the Peppa Pig bedding and toys at the cottage and the spacious garden. We had such a great stay visiting, Winchester, Salisbury and Beaulieu.

A very nice comfortable cottage that has a lovely well equipped kitchen and a nice little garden for sitting in.

The area is quiet and peaceful and a lovely dog walking area and a good base for local sightseeing and visiting places like Salisbury and Winchester. We enjoyed our stay there very much, owners are very friendly and they have two lovely dogs.

So well equipped, comfortable and family friendly - Horseshoe Cottage has thought of everything to create a really relaxing break for families, with wonderful additions for the children and proper comfort for the adults. We had a great stay as two families with 1 year olds and a dog, and hope to be back regularly as the little ones grow.

Tastefully decorated cottage in heart of rural Hampshire.

Suited 4 adults and two small children (especially the toys). Lots of seating downstairs with separate snug and outside patio. Master bedroom spacious.

What a fantastic cottage, couple nights away with the family in a lovely comfortable environment.

Well recommended property. Bathroom layout for master bedroom is a little unique but perfectly fine. Lovely touches with the Peppa Pig theming for the children.

The cakes and children's activity pack was a lovely welcome. The cottage was spacious and very well equipped for our large family and dog. We were particularly impressed with the children's toys and board games, which we enjoyed most evenings. We would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful cottage.

We had a lovely stay at Horseshoe Cottage, property was warm, clean and had everything to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

Carol popped around to say hello and reiterated if we needed anything to just ask, we didn’t as the cottage was perfect. The only thing i would say is the garden is not completely secure for the dog, although back garden is fenced he could have easily got to the front of the property and easily escaped.

This is a truly wonderful cottage , everything you need is here was lovely to have the log burner , a really quiet place just pity going to work it was dark and coming home too so never appreciated the garden or village

We have just spent Xmas here and couldn’t have been happier.

The house was decorated for us and looked beautiful also lovely and warm. We had everything we needed and the log fire in the evening was an added bonus. Very well maintained, lovely and clean and cosy. Great to have the parking for 2 cars on the driveway and the fully enclosed garden. Great local recommendations, things to do and information provided in the cottage too. Great spot to explore the New Forest from - 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

This was a fabulous and tastefully furnished cottage.

The main bedroom was enormous with a luxurious bath as well as an excellent separate shower. The cottage was warm and very comfortable. The owner was friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. The children enjoyed the toys. We loved how quiet it was at night and the beautiful stars due to lack of light pollution. A bonus was having many great places to visit without driving far. Would definitely reccomend!

It was perfect for our 3-generation family break and it was so easy to feel relaxed from the moment we arrived. The owner is absolutely lovely!

The cottage is perfect and exceeded our expectations.

It's on the edge of the village, surrounded by fields, and stylishly decorated, with special touches (proper coffee machine, handmade soaps, prosecco in the fridge). It's perfectly equipped for children, with a toy selection, stair gates and highchair etc. We hope to return.

Ideal for a family, everyone is catered for from adults and children to dogs. The little personal touches are amazing and so thoughtful. Spotlessly clean and comfy, everything looks brand new.
