The Willows is a beautifully presented single-storey escape set in the ever-popular coastal village of Trearddur Bay on the Isle of Anglesey.

With its generous layout and thoughtful touches throughout, it’s an excellent base for families or groups who want to make the most of this celebrated corner of North Wales.

The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking, offering an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, ideal whether you're preparing a full family meal or simply sorting out sandy clothes after a day by the sea.

The dining area brings everyone together, while the sitting space with its electric fire and TV offers a comfortable place to unwind in the evenings.

Four well-arranged bedrooms cater to a variety of guests: a double with its own en-suite shower room, two further doubles, and a bunk room that’s perfect for younger visitors.

A family bathroom with a bath and shower over completes the internal layout.

Step outside and you’ll find one of the property’s standout features, an enclosed garden with lawn and patio.

Off-road parking, plus a highchair and travel cot, ensure your stay is easy from the moment you arrive.

We have just had a few nights away at the Willows and we have had a lovely break.

There is ample parking on the spacious drive, the bungalow is very comfy, spacious and very clean. It’s situated quite central for Trearddur Bay (approx 5-10 min walk to the beach). The beds are very comfy and it has a welcoming feel. Dogs are also welcome, it’s a very practical space for them, the garden is secure but the front wall could be cleared by a nosey dog with escape tendencies. The bungalow has hard flooring in the lounge/hall and kitchen, so easy to keep clean if the dogs are wet, there is a hose pipe at the back of the bungalow if they need hosing down after a walk on the beach. It is on a quiet road and it has a very peaceful and safe feel to it. The owner is very responsive and we did have to contact them about the oven - nothing was too much trouble. Only things I would recommend (and this is being picky) are mirrors and wardrobes in all the bedrooms (only a wardrobe in the main bedroom & no mirrors other than in the bathroom). Also waste bins in the bathrooms would be useful. Most holiday lets have lots of house rules but there was no information other than to strip used beds, which was a refreshing change! however a list of housekeeping duties would be helpful eg when the bins go out (we had to watch the neighbours and then put the bins out based on what they had out) The back garden is steep but there is decking at the top which would benefit from some chairs to catch the afternoon sun. Last thing - the light in the lounge is a danger to anyone over 6 foot - my hubby hit his head on it, it has corners on the light fitting and he is bald so it did cut his head (didn’t knock any sense into him tho!) We had to put the coffee table directly under it - to remind him to stay away. Just be aware if you are lucky enough to be tall! Those are just some improvements that we feel would make the stay a bit better, but it was a super place regardless. Our dogs loved running up and down the steep garden after their ball - knackered them out!! We have stayed in 3 different holiday lets in Trearddur and this is our favourite. We would return without hesitation. Thank you for letting us stay.

We have enjoyed the best week staying at the Willows .

It’s clean and comfortable- a real home from home. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds super comfy. The property is close to the beach and everything Trearddur Bay has to offer we will definitely be returning.

A beautiful property, well maintained with everything you need and more.

Great lay out with 2 modern bathrooms. Fresh linen and towels and very comfy beds. Open plan lounge area with tv and large sofa area. Through out the property it was spotlessly clean. Secure garden for our dog ,off road parking for 4 cars. Positioned on a quiet side road, 5 minutes from the beach. Great communication with host. Truly couldn't fault a thing. Highly recommend.

The Willows is a lovely property.

It’s conveniently located, only a 5-10 minute walk from the shops, cafés, beach, etc, just a short distance up a quiet, peaceful lane. It’s modern, fresh, clean and nicely presented, with comfy beds and attractive bathrooms. There’s parking for multiple cars and a useful gate that slides smoothly across the wide entrance. The back garden is extremely steep and not really usable, but there’s lawn at the front and a paved area at the side of the house with a wooden table and chairs where you can sit out. I can suggest a few minor additions that would make the house even better for guests. There are only 6 mugs, 6 dinner plates, 5 side plates, 4 bowls and 6 teaspoons, which isn’t enough for a property that takes up to 8 guests (although they do provide children’s plastic plates, bowls and cutlery, which is great). I would have appreciated net curtains in the rear bedrooms as the windows are large and overlooked by the property behind. They have helpfully provided a clothes drying rack in the utility cupboard, but someone has broken it and it needs replacing. A minor point, but it would be handy to add a toilet brush to the family bathroom. As with many properties these days, no oven gloves are provided, and it’s worth taking your own dishwasher tablets as none are provided. There was a bit of a hiccup when the house was prepared for our stay, and although it was very clean, only 2 bath towels and no hand towels were left for our party. After contacting Sykes on Friday evening, a pack of 4 brand new bath towels was delivered on Sunday. Also, the kitchen bin hadn’t been emptied and was still full of the previous guests’ rubbish. The black wheelie bin was full to the brim with general waste and a large plastic tub by the bins contained additional mixed rubbish. Some of the recycling had been put in the wrong containers, but by re-sorting the rubbish I was able to create enough space for everything and it was taken by the bin men on Monday morning. I appreciate that 3-weekly collection of general waste can create problems with holiday lets, but it would help if clear instructions regarding recycling and rubbish collection were left in a prominent position. I had to search the council’s website to find out what to do. It would also be very helpful to provide a folder containing the operating instructions for all the appliances. But these are minor niggles which I only mention for the benefit of future guests. The house is lovely, we really enjoyed staying there and would very happily stay there again. We also very much appreciated being allowed to enter the property at 3pm, which is disappointingly rare these days.

This has been our family home for many years, and I've enjoyed welcoming guests to stay here. Based on recent feedback, I've already added extra towels, plates, cutlery and other kitchen essentials to ensure guests have everything they need. The property is professionally cleaned between each booking. As I don't live locally or manage it day to day, I'm not always aware if items have been broken or gone missing unless guests let me know. If you notice anything during your stay, please get in touch and I'll arrange for it to be resolved as quickly as possible. To help us prepare the property correctly, please ensure all guests, including infants, are included on the booking. Bedrooms are prepared according to the number of guests booked, so if you require additional bedrooms or have specific sleeping arrangements, please let me know before arrival. The property is within walking distance of the village's pubs, restaurants, cafés and local amenities, as described in the listing. Being right by the sea, salt spray can build up on the windows between regular cleans, which is an unavoidable feature of a coastal location. The listing photographs also accurately show the naturally sloping rear garden, allowing guests to decide if the property is suitable for their group.
