Llangaffo 0.8 miles.
Black Bird Cottage is a bright, pet-friendly cottage nestled on the outskirts of Llangaffo, in the Isle of Anglesey.
Perfect for friends or families, this abode boasts a Smart TV, an open-plan living space, single-storey living and is near Eryri National Park (Snowdonia).
After pulling up outside, the rustic charm of the stone-built cottage sets the tone for a peaceful retreat, with its characterful façade blending beautifully into the surrounding countryside.
Step through the door and into the open-plan living space, where warmth radiates from the underfloor heating and natural light fills the room.
The kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with everything needed to prepare a hearty breakfast or a simple supper, with an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, and microwave tucked neatly into the corner.
Slide a tray of treats into the oven, pop the kettle on, and gather around the dining table to plan the day ahead.
After a day exploring the island, sink into the soft seating and flick on the Smart TV for a film night or catch up on your favourite series.
When sleep calls, retreat to one of two inviting bedrooms, a double and a twin, each offering a peaceful place to rest and recharge.
The shower room is sleek and functional, with a walk-in shower and basin, perfect for refreshing before heading out or winding down for the evening.
Outside, guests have access to off-road parking for two cars and a shared on-site launderette, ideal for longer stays or sandy beach days.
The nearest shop and pub are just a short drive away, offering convenience without compromising the tranquillity of the setting.
From this base, you can explore the enchanting landscapes of Anglesey and beyond.
Head to Newborough Forest and Beach, where winding trails lead through pine woodland to sweeping sands and views of Llanddwyn Island.
Venture to Beaumaris, a charming coastal town with a moated castle, independent shops, and boat trips along the Menai Strait.
Or spend a day in Caernarfon, where the imposing castle, bustling market square, and riverside walks offer a rich blend of history and local life.
Black Bird Cottage offers a peaceful retreat for those looking to explore the natural beauty and heritage of Anglesey and North Wales.

What guests are saying
Comfortable property and the complex of barn conversions look great however lots of little bits let it down.
These could easily be addressed to make this a 5* place. Its in a beautiful area, easy to access anywhere in Anglesey from here. The bits that need addressing: We had no hot water for 2 days, this was fixed when we reported it but took over 24 hrs for the engineer to come out. I do wonder why this wasnt picked up on by the cleaner prior to our stay. The lighting in the cottage whilst cosy is not bright enough, we stayed in summer, must be a nightmare in winter. Lounge area lighting meant couldnt read in there or play games in the evening. Only 1 lamp in the main bedroom, 2nd bedroom had a second lamp with a USB cable yet no USB sockets. Under furniture looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long while. Fridge was not switched in when we arrived and smelt musty, did clear up once on. Crockery in the property is limited and old, no spare for extra serving plates etc and some chipped. The cottage could easily be superb but these little things let it down. Outdoors - there is a lovely area with seats and picnic tables, let down a little by needing a good weeding, however someone did turn up to cut the grass areas whilst we were there. The paths in the fields leading down to the lakes were completely overgrown and not accessible. The track down to the lodges is a long uneven track and full of potholes, our car coped with it but some may not, so maybe needs something gone the listing or some work doing to it. Having said all this, we didn't allow it to spoil our holiday and still had a lovely break away.
I would recommend some fans or air conditioning as the lodge became too hot and stifling in the recent warm weather.
