This is not aimed at the accommodation.
This is aimed at Sykes - almost impossible to get hold of them by telephone and then once I did was given wrong information. Will think twice before booking through Sykes again.
Super, cosy cottage beautifully located for hiking in stunning Swaledale & just a short stroll from the lovely hamlet of Keld.
Even after a wet day’s walking, the cottage soon warmed up me (& all my wet gear!). Rachel the host is very friendly & on hand to deal with any queries but not intrusive. Had a bit of a battle with Sykes initially to check whether towels are included (they are) but otherwise all seamless.
Our second visit to this supremely clean , comfortable and cosy little cottage right by the river and in the middle of beautiful countryside.
Rachel is the perfect host. The 'goodies' were much appreciated too. We hope to be back
