What guests are saying
What a delightful, characterful property in the heart of Littondale.
It is beautifully appointed, full of traditional features and homely touches! There was everything we could wish for with plentiful kitchen and tableware. Each bedroom was spacious, comfortable and attractively appointed with great views of the surrounding dale. The hosts were so friendly and made us very welcome. They had lots of helpful information about the area and how to make the most of our week in the dales. We found its location perfect for exploring much of what the dales has to offer. The journey over the tops to Malham Tarn and Cove is spectacular. The Queen’s Arms pub, only a stones throw from the cottage, offers first rate locally sourced food, beers and a warm welcome. We ate there on several occasions but, on the advice of our hosts, did book We will definitely be back!
Lovely quiet location although quite a long journey from B road on a narrow road with some inconsiderate drivers.
Beds and bathrooms very comfortable. Kitchen adequate. Were aware of spring water but did not like it for drinking so purchased bottled water. Freezer part of fridge is small.
We had a lovely stay at Litton Hall Barn Cottage.
The accommodation was generous and the rooms were thoughtfully put together. We had 3 couples staying and it worked great. Plenty of space to sit and eat. The cottage was very close to a lovely pub but beware it closes early on Sunday and all day Monday. Super for lots of walks and so quiet and cosy.
