the cottage was excellent in every respect and felt like home from home.

It is in an excellent location with only a short walk of 15minutes into Grassington . the towns of Skipton, Ilkley and Pateley Bridge are also easily accessible by car. Linton Falls and the surrounding countryside are a delight. Highly recommended.

Perfect location making it easy to visit Grassington without the crowds.

Will never tire of staying here. As well as being so cosy and having everything you need the property is spotless .It is perfectly positioned for travelling near or far in the Dales by car or on foot. We love the local inn, (the Fountaine at Linton) and we walked from the house into Burnsall (a lovely walk along the river) and also the shorter walk into Grassington. On reading other reviews on here it is lovely to see how the owners have welcomed disadvantaged / disabled children into their home, and made it possible for them and their families to enjoy this space (what a lovely thoughtful thing to do). We are booked to return in December and looking forward to it.

Everything is of exceptional quality, from the feather cushions to the dining cutlery. Everything was spotlessly clean throughout the house and overall a very relaxing place to be.

Very well equipped Kitchen with everything you could think of. Both bathrooms have easy to use showers both having rain heads which for us is a plus. The owners of this property have really thought about what is needed in a holiday cottage and it shows.If staying in the area again would use this property if it were available.

Set in an ideal location for exploring the picturesque Dales. We will returning for a 3rd time next year. A real Yorkshire gem.

We were kindly gifted this by the owners through the time away scheme which offers short breaks for children with disabilities.

We could not have had a better relaxed break with our 4 year old and 7 month old the property was stunning and had everything you could need . The area in general was just beautiful. We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting a relaxing get away

We had a truly lovely stay and are very grateful to the owners for making it possible through a charity scheme supporting children with chronic illnesses.

It meant a great deal to our family and gave us a much-needed break after a challenging few years. The cottage was spotless, beautifully presented and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need — it felt immediately comfortable and welcoming. The location was perfect for exploring, and the children especially loved visiting Stump Cross Caverns and Billy Bob’s Parlour — they didn’t want to leave. It’s a wonderful place to stay in a beautiful part of the country, and we feel fortunate to have experienced it.

What an amazing house.

It was without doubt the most immaculately cleaned house of any we’ve ever stayed. Sometimes holiday cottages skimp on the furnishings. Not Riverdale. Delighted to find Robert Welch cutlery, as we have at our own house, top quality bedding and towels, and a Dualit kettle and toaster. Wonderful large bathroom, again, high quality fittings. The whole house was warm and cosy which in a cold wet January week, was a joy to come back to, and jump in the lovely shower, especially after getting wet through on walks. The house is in a quiet setting near Linton Falls, but we could walk into Grassington on footpaths in ten minutes. The Fountaine Inn in Linton, is cosy and excellent for pub meals and we had a wonderful gourmet meal at Grassington House. Loved it all. Well done to the owners. Most impressed.

Our second visit to the property this year and we can't wait to come back.

This house is extremely warm and comfortable and so welcoming to come back to after a day exploring... could not have felt more cosy! If you don't want to eat out at the many lovely places in the area the kitchen has everything you need to create your own meals. We have visited in the height of summer and also winter and both seasons were just as enjoyable.Also the EV charger just across was an added bonus.

It’s a lovely base for exploring the area. Ideally placed for peace & quiet but only a short walk in to Grassington & a very short stroll to the beautiful River Wharfe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would highly recommend this property.

We’ve had a lovely stay at Riverdale House. One of the best equipped kitchens we’ve come across! The only thing we struggled with was the thick winter duvets on the beds in the summer, especially given how hot the bedrooms got due to having to keep the windows whilst we were out. Just that small issue though, we would definitely recommend Riverdale House.

A beautiful property which is clearly loved and cared for by the owners themselves, as this is reflected by the quality of decor, furnishings etc.

Everything is maintained to an extremely high standard, providing comfort and luxury for guests, making you feel instantly at home. The location is close to the Fountaine Inn (our favourite) and also to Grassington ,Burnsall and Appletreewick. Linton Falls itself is perfect for walks and a quiet peaceful area. We intend to re visit this property later this year :)

Riverdale House is well situated for all the areas we wanted to explore.

We felt instantly relaxed on arrival as the cottage has a lovely homely feel about it. The furniture and fittings were very comfortable and of a high standard. It was also very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The property guidance notes were extremely informative and helpful and the ‘welcome gifts’ provided were much appreciated. These comments, together with the glorious weather we had, made for a very memorable holiday.

This was one of the best equipped and clean cottages we have stayed in.

The cottage was extremely comfortable for 4 people and the lounge was lovely and cosy. Plenty of space with the utility room to let wet coats dry out. Beautiful surroundings and would definitely book again. Happy New Year.

We were very pleasantly surprised surprised with the house , so beautiful the interiors are excellent , the kitchen is great expensive crockery and cutlery and pans everything you could possibly need, good bed and linen snowy white towels , first class !

The main bathroom was so spacious excellent shower , only downside one of the factors in choosing the cottage was the bath , unfortunately we couldn’t use it as it had a leak which would be fixed on our departure .

Riverdale House is a beautiful property that has great facilities.

Our family of four loved our time there and wished we could have stayed for longer. My kids are already pestering me for a return visit. The location is great. Close enough to Grassington and Linton for a gentle walk to dinner and lunch, whilst also being peaceful, with just the sound of Linton Falls and wildlife at night. There are loads of walks that can start and finish at the back door.

This was a lovely house in a super position for LInton Falls and within a short walk to Grassington.

Everything in the house was of high quality and we particularly appreciated the new matresses on the beds which gave a very comfy sleep indeed. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and very stylishly furnished. The welcome pack was much appreciated too.

We are a family of four and spent three nights at this beautiful house. The pictures don’t do this property justice. Great location, spacious Interior, well equipped and beautifully decorated. Great location to explore Grassington and the surrounding areas. We will be booking again.
