Situated in a quiet setting on a hillside overlooking the town, this delightful holiday cottage provides the perfect base for a couple or small family within this ever popular area.

A well thought out renovation of this traditional cottage, the current owners have gone to great lengths to produce a modern home with good facilities and yet still retain the character and charm of the original dwelling.

Individual styling and contemporary furnishings are evident throughout the accommodation in this superb cottage, which features a lovely sitting room with cosy open fire, along with fabulous long distance views.

The modern kitchen diner, extended to include a summer room boasts a bright, light space through the Velux windows and offers a well-equipped and spacious area for getting everyone together and enjoying an evening meal.

The spacious garden with the patio and outdoor furniture is an excellent place to sit and relax.

This superb cottage is ideal for walkers as it has the Nidderdale Way running past the back door and guests can visit Brimham Rocks, How Stean Gorge, Stump Cross Caverns and Fountains Abbey, a World Heritage Site.

This charming holiday home is also close to the 2014 Tour de France route so people can experience the route and spectacular scenery that was screened worldwide and bike riders will relish following the route taken by the world’s cycling stars.

Within driving distance are Grassington with its wonderful old town square, Harrogate offering a fabulous shopping centre and famous Bettys tea rooms and the canal side market town of Skipton.

Comfortable cottage with fantastic views.

The decking area is a lovely place to sit and relax. The local town is just a few minutes walk and has a bakers, butchers, convenience stores and lots of lovely coffee shops. There are so many walks that can be done straight from the cottage that we hardly used the car. The lane is narrow and has potholes but is drivable. You do need to cross a shared patio area to the garden. The steps down to the garden are steep just need to take care. We had a really relaxing holiday and would definitely think about returning.

We had a fantastic week here with our dog Otis, the cottage is perfectly located for some stunning walks around the area many of which are from the cottage.

The cottage is spotlessly clean with everything you could need for your stay, a well equipped kitchen ( some steak knives would be helpful ) as there are two lovely butchers in the town. Pately bridge is a very short walk away with some lovely shops, butchers, bakers and places to eat. We cant recommend this place enough and will be definitely planning a return visit.
