The cottage felt like home from the moment we walked in. Beautiful fairy lights around the fireplace aded to the cosy atmosphere. Very convenient location only a short walk from Mother shiptons cave and local pubs that serve delicious meals. We can't wait to stay in maple tree cottage again.

This is probably one of the best cottages we have stopped in, from the very generous welcome pack to the big comfy bed - just lovely.

The location is perfect as within reach of castle, shops, pubs and rail / bus links. Parking next to the cottage wasn’t a problem, kitchen is well equipped and bathroom is fab. We had warm cozy nights in the lounge (loved the throws and fairy lights) Hosts communication was instant for any queries we had. Would be happy to return! Carole, Paul & Tess the collie!

Perfect cottage in a wonderful location.

Really well equipped, there was nothing we needed that they didn’t have. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Lots of little extras provided that made our stay feel luxurious. We hope to return to this cottage in future as it was perfect for a cozy stay, also for exploring the local area. So sad we had to return home!
