Beautiful cottage lovely spot had everything we required Grassington is a lovely village with plenty of amenities would recommend Manna Cottage.

We also had stunning weather.

Beautiful cosy cottage, well equipped quality furnishings with everything you need, spotless clean and bonus having a parking space.

Great situation very peaceful.

We are unable to give a true assessment of the property as we did not visit the property as booked, due to the fact that my husband lost his passport on the day we were due to fly from Washington DC to London.

Our booking dates were: In May 13 Out May 20. We cancelled the reservation on May 2nd, both through Expedia and via Sykes Cottages on your WhatsApp chat. Several unsuccessful attempts were made to speak with an actual agent, including a direct phone call from our American home which cost me $US53.73 for 15 minutes on hold unanswered. Sadly, when I reached out to the property owner on the date we were expected to arrive, she informed me that neither Sykes nor Expedia had notified her of the cancellation. And to add insult to injury, the insurance company have refused to pay us any of the monies collected - a total of $US1368.82. Your bot system really needs to be overhauled as it never gave me an opportunity to speak with an agent, which may have avoided all the confusion and annoyance.

Absolutely wonderful little cottage, perfect for a couple.

Extremely well equipped with everything you need, plus welcome pieces left for us. The cottage was spotless, beautiful bedding and towels. With the added bonus of a parking space right outside the door. Beautiful village to visit, everyone friendly and welcoming. Certainly will be back to stay again.

Second time staying at Manna cottage and once again we weren't disappointed .

Everything you could possibly need for a stay away from home was there. Excellent situated at the top of the Main Street so away from the hustle and bustle but one minute walk into it. Definately will return.

We found the property to be very comfortable well maintained and still having character.

Furniture was to a high quality and comfortable too. The location was very convenient being located in the centre of the village with its own parking, we didn’t use the car at all during our stay. We would definitely recommend this property.

This was our third visit as we have family in the area and we will certainly be back again. The cottage is beautifully maintained with everything you need to cook meals, or there are pubs, coffee shops and a fish and chip shop in the village.

Thank you for leaving the bottled water in case the main went off. would recommend the Devonshire for meals. Also the fish and chip shop was handy and tasty.

Furniture and bed very comfortable. ‘Welcome ‘ items were a nice touch and appreciated.Excellent position with easy access to all of Grassington’s features. Lovely quiet place in evening when ‘tourists’ have gone home. Several beautiful walks from cottage door of varying difficulty, many of which described in leaflets stored in one of the drawers.

We had a lovely, peaceful time in a very cosy cottage!

It was perfect for two, and perfect for exploring the breathtaking scenery both on foot or by car. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, easy to find and use, and with everything we needed for a self-catering stay. The kitchenette was well stocked, the bathroom fresh and modern, and the bedroom spacious and with a very comfortable bed. Thanks for the hospitality!

Beautiful cottage in very central location- especially good to have a parking space.

Really appreciated the welcome gifts and the pint of milk in the fridge. We were really comfortable in the cottage and loved Grassington- great shops, cafes and plenty of walks without having to take the car. Despite excellent directions we had a bit of trouble finding the cottage - the entrance is at the back door rather than the front with the garden. Once we had our bearings, it was obvious. For an outing, we recommend Fountains Abbey near Ripon.

Manna Cottage is ideal for a couple.

Good location at the top of the village with 3 hotels, a good baker's shop and general store within 5 minutes walk. Comfortable and well maintained. A good range of information about the area was provided with plenty of walks available directly from the house. Our second visit.

Manna Cottage is exactly as described, if not better.

The cottage is clean and comfortable and decorated to a high standard.The welcome pack provided was a lovely touch along with an information pack which was more than useful. The cottage central heating along with the gas fire provide a good mix of heating and was really comfortable. The site of the cottage in Main Street is just a pleasant walk to all of Grassington's attractions. The shops, pubs and cafes are all handy and their staff as well as the good folk of Grassington are both friendly and a pleasure to meet. Looking forward to another visit in the near future

Was quite worried about access, as Lane already narrow and house at the top covered in scaffolding.

But no problem. One look at the visitors book confirmed our view. A quiet, clean cosy & comfortable cottage for couples. Very good quality fixtures fittings & accessories. We nearly gave up on the hob but persevered & got the hang of it. Likewise the gas fire, which we did need for evenings in. An ideal spot in the village, right at the top so you get a bit of exercise walking back up the hill, set back, so quite private and perhaps the time of year but totally quiet & still in the evenings, great for a good night's sleep. Only 2 other people mentioned the bongs from the town hall clock, but we got used to it and it was strangely comforting to know how many others had listened to them over the years. We just missed filming but the crew were setting up on our last day. Everything you want in the village & everything you need at the cottage.

The cottage was well maintained, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed for our stay.

My wife and i really enjoyed our stay in your lovely cottage .

It was a great base to explore the surrounding area. We also enjoyed the peace and quiet of the cottage as we have very noisy neighbours where we live . The owners have done a great job on the cottage so take a bow. Only problem we had was the back door lock i think it needs some attention .Hopefully we will return in the future as there is so much to see in this part of Yorkshire . A very cosy cottage decorated to high standards, very well equipped and spotlessly clean.

Located just off the main street in the beautiful Dales village of Grassington, it is an ideal place for exploring wonderful Wharfedale and beyond. Plenty of walks directly from the door as well as local pubs, cafes and shops. The welcome bottle of wine, chocolates, milk and biscuits were a lovely touch too. There is a small parking space for one car outside the back door, but there are some free spaces in the village, a small carpark a little way up the hill and the National Park carpark is another option if friends are meeting up with you. We would highly recommend Manna Cottage for a Yorkshire Dales holiday base.

The cottage was well equipped with everything you could need, it was all of a high quality too.

The only down side for us was the firmness of the double mattress,which was like lying on a board, however we appreciate not everyone likes a softer matrass, this did impact our stay, as after a walking day we didn't get a good sleep. The situation of the cottage was perfect and Grassinton and surrounding areas are beautiful. Everyone was so friendly. We ate mainly in the Forresters Arms which appears shabby but the food was beautifully, plentiful, freshly made and reasonably priced. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Apart from the bed a very nice stay.

Manna Cottage is the perfect base for anybody wanting to explore the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

The cottage is compact but has everything you need and is situated very near to the centre of this lovely village.

As for a couple it was perfect.

A bonus, parking at the rear of the property was under a street lamp.

It was a lovely cosy cottage even in the damp weather - central to the village and its own parking space which was a bonus.

The cottage was brilliantly equipped with everything that you would need - in the little things like tea bags, coffee, hot chocolate (which was lovely) - loved the little touches like a packet of chocolates and a pint of milk left for us. It was our first short break in a long time because of illness and it lived up to every expectation. Thank you for this.

Manna Cottage is an ideal holiday home for a couple like us who enjoy walking and eating.

It's very comfortable and well equipped - especially for cooking. Comfortable king size bed with good mattress, and big fluffy towels. Lovely location for walking from the door and for the town. And a good bus service to Skipton and dales. It was our second time in this cottage. And the owner is helpful and friendly.

Manna cottage is a gem in the heart of Grassington beautifully presented and configured and equiped for a small cottage.

It has the advantage of parking right outside which is ideal as there isn't much parking space in Grassington itself

Manna cottage is a lovely cottage .

However the locks on the back door and the out house are difficult to undo . Maybe people should be made aware of the town hall clock striking every hour especially through the night. The bed was hard and not very comfy to sleep on . It is in a good position in the village. A little more comfort would have been nice.

The kitchen was rather compacted, only about 10 inches of work surface.

Living room, bedroom and bathroom were a good size. Shower was good. The garden belongs to the next door house, so can't be used. It was bit uncomfortable to have people walking by in the garden. The picture on Sykes is the front of the house from the garden not the entrance you use. Parking was a bit difficult. There is no allocated space.

Very well equipped and very clean. The key for the little outhouse was very temperamental but we managed to open it twice to put out the recycling. We have had a great week and just wished we could have stayed longer. Hopefully we will be returning.

Not the most comfortable settee but OK. Couldn’t turn the key to the outhouse so couldn’t use the recycling bins. Apart from that, I would highly recommend this cottage. Also,perfectly positioned in a beautiful village and stunning countryside.

We stayed at Manna cottage in Grassington for one of the Christmas market weekends.

It was obvious from the moment we opened the front door that it was very homely, we ate out every night but the kitchen was well equipped to cook a meal for two. The host was very helpfully with answering any questions we had prior to our stay. We had a lovely weekend and will defiantly be going back.

Excellent cottage ideally situated in Grassington close to all you need for a holiday

Location is brilliant with easy access to town and walks.

We expected a bit of noise at night but it was so peaceful, just the sound of the town hall clock chimes. The cottage is perfect for two with adequate facilities. I personally found the bed too hard and therefore uncomfortable, my husband had no problem sleeping! The bed linen and towels were all of very good quality. We love Grassington with the offer of wonderful walks from the doorstep, combined with very good eateries, we shall definitely return.

I enjoyed my stay but with roadworks which was no one's fault I had trouble finding parking.

also I have stayed at cottages before and never had to strip the bed before I left.otherwise there was everything in the cottage I needed and Grassington was very enjoyable.

We followed the instructions regarding rubbish, but it was apparent the bin hadn't been emptied for some time as it was absolutely full. Otherwise perfect. Shame nowhere to sit outside as we had stunning weather, but we managed very well. Thank you for letting us share your home.

Great cottage for a couple.

Well equipped and in a good location. Only negative was builder’s vans blocking the gunnel and parking space on our first day. After speaking to them they kept it clear for the rest of stay.

Manna Cottage was the perfect place for our say in Grassington, the cosy cottage was immaculate with beautiful furnishings and within walking distance of places to eat out in an evening.

We will certainly be booking it again.

The picture of the cottage was confusing as it showed the front while main access was via the back door as the front garden did not belong to the property.

This meant instructions were to first cottage on the left down the path way/road whereas the picture indicated the property was on the right. It didn't cause a problem finding the cottage but was confusing when viewing online.

We loved our stay at Manna cottage, the location was perfect in a quite cobbled side road and less than 100 yards to nearest pub.

We were surprised at how clean the cottage was and we were not expecting a modern shower A perfect place to stay and much better than a hotel room.

Spacious lounge with efficient gas fire for chilly evenings (had to get on hands and knees for controls). The bedroom was also spacious with good quality beddng on comfy king size bed. Shower was good, always plenty of hot water, fluffy towels. The kitchen was very small (half width counter), but we did manage, it had all necessary appliances - microwave, fridge, washer/dryer (outside) and plenty of crockery/cutlery. Parking immediately outside the door was convenient, we only used the car one rainy day to visit Skipton. We loved walking from the door. The owners obviously look after this property very well. We hope to return.

Manna Cottage was an ideal place to stay when visiting Grassington and the Yorkshire Dale's.

It was extremely clean and well maintained. All furnishings were of a high standard. We would definitely use it again and recommend it to others.

This is a gem of a cottage - excellent location, very clean and comfortable, well equipped.

So good to find somewhere which has all you need to cook with and plenty of cutlery and crockery. Good bed and shower. Wifi worked well. Warm and cosy but with plenty of a space. Owner helpfully made contact beforehand. From the visitors book we can see people have come back many times and we can see why. We hope to return.

The cottage was excellent and was fully equipped, it was exceptionally clean and contained everything necessary for home from home and for the perfect holiday. I would certainly stay at this property again and would book through Sykes for a similar break in the future.

Lovely warm cottage perfect

This is a cracking little cottage right in the heart of the village, what you get is a typical miners cottage converted for modern living.

Spacious and comfortable for two people and ideal for a holiday to explore the yorkshire dales and with parking as a bonus.The only negative is the difficulty sometimes in lighting the fire which takes a bit of effort to get the pilot light lit but with perseverance it's not much of an issue.

Had a lovely holiday in Grassington, the cottage was superb, very central, private parking and lovely comfy bed.

Frequented the Forresters Arms, very friendly staff, good food and only a few yards from the cottage. Will be back.

Nice small cottage, well positioned in the middle of the village.

There are some negative points. The kitchen is tiny with limited work space, the settee in the living room is small and very soft you can't sit on it for long, there are alternative chairs provided. There isn't any outside space. This is clear in the description but what isn't clear is the garden in front of the cottage belongs to the next door neighbour, who hangs her washing over the railings in front of the living room window. There is parking for one car but access is tight and you have to reverse out on to the road, this can prove tricky with on coming cars and pedestrians, there is alternative parking in the village. This cottage is a good base for exploring the Dales both by car and on foot.

Exceedingly nice soft furnishings. Nice complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits very welcome after a long drive. Walks around the Dales just on the doorstep. Grassington has got lots of character and friendly people.
