Comfortable, clean and in a great location. Having parking provided too was brilliant, parking in Grassington is quite challenging. We found the village itself a delight! We played all the various pub quizzes, popped into the Devonshire Arms for 2 evening meals and I would definitely recommend their food. I can honestly say this turned out to be one of the best holidays we've had for a while. Thank you to the property owners and also Sykes.

Cottage was beautiful and the hostess very helpful on the one occasion we needed to call.

The living area was spacious and well equipped with a lovely view of the village. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms modern with good shower. A few minutes stroll to the shops and a great choice of places to eat. A perfect stay!

Brilliant cottage, everything was exceptional and a real nice touch to leave a some logs for the wood burner, although the central heating was very efficient, we lit a fire on one night for a cosy evening in with a nice bottle of wine.

Comfy sofa/lounge area. Upside down layout provides good views of village, but a note noise from upstairs [footsteps] can be heard in bedrooms.

After a long drive, we were welcomed to Rose Cottage, immaculately presented, very comfortable, warm and cosy, every convenience catered for with nothing lacking, including off-road parking - a definite luxury for Grassington.

This was our third stay in this lovely cottage, a fourth visit in early 2026 is already on the cards. Many thanks to the owner (Andy) and his crew.

Grassington has always been a lovely place for us to visit so to actually stay in the village was wonderful. The cottage was cosy and warm and had every we needed. Beds and super comfy and the cottage was spotless. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area and the village has lots of great pubs and eateries to choose from. We would definitely return. Rose Cottage, comfortable well-furnished and every thing that you would need to enjoy your holiday and situated in the heart of Grassington Car parking next to the cottage was a definite plus.

The cottage had an upside down configuration so that you had better views from the 1st floor but accessing for an older couple was challenging. Village life has surrended to popularity and over crowding was an issue for us.A trip to Grassington very pleasant but for us not to stay Brian&Pauline

Rose Cottage is simply gorgeous.

It's position in the village is perfect with a great view of main street and the all important parking space. Beautifully clean and warm with lovely decor. This was our first trip to the Yorksire Dales and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay- the cottage really made our holiday perfect. Looking forward to a return trip

Rose Cottage was a really good choice for our stay in the Yorkshire.

Grassington is a pretty, vibrant and welcoming village and is the perfect location for exploring the beautiful dales. We loved the nearby walks, the local shops, pubs and the general atmosphere of the place and would return in a heartbeat. The cottage, which has been cleverly and sympathetically modernised, was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and had everything you needed to enjoy this stunning part of Yorkshire. We are very happy to recommend Rose Cottage. You won’t be disappointed.

Perfectly placed in the middle of the village. The car parking space was an added bonus. Lots of walks from the cottage. Good upstairs space and great view from the window. Would reccomend this cottage.

Perfect cottage in the heart of Grassington.

Two Beautiful double rooms on ground floor and both with en suite. Upstairs Lounge area is spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Parking space to the side of the cottage was very convenient given the village is often quite busy in the daytime. Would definitely love to revisit at some point as its location in the area is perfect for exploring all over the dales.

Enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage for our wedding anniversary.

What a lovely clean and well presented apartment and great to find the bedrooms downstairs so no lugging cases up the stairs. Enjoyed the living area upstairs and there was everything needed for your stay. One slight flaw was that the second bedroom was advertised as a king size bed but was actually a double which our friends found a bit cramped as they are used to a king size bed. But would definitely return again to Rose Cottage.

We enjoyed a wonderful week on our second visit to the lovely Rose Cottage.

We were fortunate with the weather and saw amazing sunsets across the fells from the comfort of the sofa. The house is beautifully laid out and the upstairs Lounge provides bright, spacious accommodation with everything we required to enjoy our holiday. The bedrooms are comfortable with quality linen and the ensuite bathrooms are pristine as is the rest of the property. Grassington is a lovely village and we enjoyed good walks from the door. We would also recommend a day at Bolton Abbey with good walks, the paths being mainly accessible to everyone. We can recommend Rose Cottage which is in a great position in the village and the private parking space is a bonus. We know we will return.

Had a fantastic weekend in rose cottage, it’s a beautiful, immaculately presented, exceptionally clean and comfortable house, definitely a credit to the owners who have obviously put their heart and soles into the transformation of this lovely house, 100% one of the best holiday rentals we have ever stayed in :)

Lovely cottage providing everything that was needed.

Off road parking for two cars was particularly helpful as Grassington is a busy place. Local walks through Wharefedale straight from the front door were a delight. Lots of superb eating places all within 50 to 100 yards of the front door. Great week's holiday. Excellent

Lovely, properly equipped self catering cottage.

Generous parking for a large SUV was much appreciated. We liked the upside-down layout with a view of the main street & across to the hills in the distance. We would definitely return.

The cottage was really lovely and extremely well presented.

Well designed, open plan living space upstairs. bigger than the photo suggests so plenty of space. It was right in the centre of the village with the added bonus of a parking space.

Brilliantly situated in the centre of Grassington and with reasonable parking, you can’t fault this cottage for location!

Well appointed and comfortable, its position makes up for the lack of outside space. Just be aware that the central location means that you will find the cottage noisy. Grassington has become far busier in the last few years, probably as a result of the popularity of the new series of All Creatures Great and Small. Also, the downstairs wall shared with the neighbouring cottage is surprisingly thin given the age of the property. We could hear television noise and loud telephone conversations from early morning. That said, we enjoyed our stay very much.

We found it to be clean, comfortable, cosy, tastefully furnished and fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay a perfect home from home. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in what has to be the loveliest village in the Dales we can thoroughly recommend Rose Cottage. We hope to return someday in the not too distant future.

Loved the upside down layout .. excellent for people watching and the view of the hills! The cottage has a very cosy and comfortable feel to it. Everything you would need for your stay is provided and the off street parking is obviously a huge bonus. The pubs and shops are literally on the door step or 2 mins walk away and beautiful walks from the door step and surrounding areas. There are no negatives to Rose Cottage!

It's a beautifully kept super warm house. The parking off the street is so useful as the parking in the centre was very busy. It's 1-2 mins walk from all the pubs, cafes and shops which was great as we had 2 small kids. They also loved watching the people and tractors from the big upstairs window. The owners were very friendly and helpful too which we appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay here, thank you.

We must have had the worst weather of the winter. Storms Eunice Franklyn and snow! But The comfort and warmth of the cottage made up for the weather. Very well thought out renovation and a peaceful stay.couldn’t have asked for more.

Rose Cottage was well appointed, spacious and warm.

The owners have thought of everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The open plan living area was bigger than expected and we enjoyed the views down the hill and sunsets over the fells. The en-suite bedrooms are comfortable with quality linen and had ample storage for a weeks stay. Our family felt it was the perfect choice for us to spend time together after the restrictions of the last two years. We would hope to return.

Rose Cottage is a superb venue for a relaxing holiday in the Dales.

We like walking,eating and pubbing and the village of Grassing was ideal for all these things. The cottage is really lovely and immaculately clean. It had everything that we required. We would have enjoyed a bit of garden but we still managed to sit outside in the sun at the front door. That was good also as the local people are friendly and welcoming.

The cottage in grassington was superb and could not fault it at all.

This upside down cottage had been converted to a high standard and made the most of it’s excellent location on Main Street, with two parking spaces proving very useful.

The double height upstairs living area was a great place to spend time in, even on a very wet day, was well equipped and had a wood burner if needed. Both downstairs bedrooms were comfortable and had high quality en-suite shower rooms with instant hot water. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The cottage is also remarkably quiet despite being on the high street and 2 minutes walk from a good range of pubs, cafes, shops and takeaways. We loved the location and hardly used the car, walking from Grassington straight onto the fells, and along the Wharfe valley to pubs in nearby villages. We also cycled from the cottage to Bolton Abbey, Burnsall, Arnecliffe and Malham on quiet, if in places quite steep hills, with amazing views.

Rose Cottage is a perfect holiday Cottage.

Everything we needed, right in the heart of Grassington. The owners are friendly & very caring. We loved our previous Cottage 1,Brown Fold and it's been sold & made into a private house. So thought it would be hard to beat but zRose Cottage has done it. Once this problem with the Coronavirus recedes we shall certainly book again.

Rose Cottage is everything you could want for a stay in the dales.

It is warm and comfortable, having been lovingly renovated and is beautifully equipped. The situation is perfect being in the centre of the village and within easy reach of beautiful walks or a short ride to other beautiful areas of the dales. Excellent local hotel restaurants and cafes abound, having one situated across the road from the cottage! We only had a long weekend stay but look forward to returning for a longer stay. Fantastic cottage in the middle of a beautiful village and within easy reach of a number of towns, gardens and places of interest.

A perfect base to explore the Dales.

Situated right in the heart of the village, Rose Cottage is a lovely well equipped residence.

Clean, comforable, and with parking available outside, it's the best cottage we have rented in the village going back several years. Highly recommended

This was not an area of the country which we knew and Grassington proved to be an ideal base from which to explore.

Rose Cottage is well placed within the village and had everything we could have wanted as well as thew thoughtful touches of fresh milk and fruit on arrival. While we were out anbd about every day I feel we only scratched the surface - we will be back!

The cottage was first class, all the fixtures and fittings were top quality.

The beds were very comfy and the bedding was good quality. Having two en suites was extremely useful especially as we were two couples sharing. The location was very good being right in the village with pubs and shops close by. I would thoroughly recommend this cottage and would hope to return sometime in the future.

We stayed in a small village called grassing ton in the Yorkshire dales lovely place lots of walkers to do and a nice smal shops every we needed the cottage was very central and very comfortable and lovely bedrooms with with own showers were excellent.

ALso great pubs with very good food and nice little cake shop if you just wanted a cup of tea etc great bakers in the village which did fresh bread and great Cornish pasties

It is very well equipped and is clean and comfortable.It is our second visit and we will definitely go back.

The cottage was very cosy and warm and in the centre of Grassington convenient for 3 pubs and lots of cafes and shops.

The cottage was very modern with a bathroom in each bedroom, and a toilet in the open plan lounge upstairs. Each main room had a television and WIFI was available.

Rose Cottage was comfortable, spotlessly clean, fittings of a high standard, tastefully decorated and the location is absolutely perfect being right in the centre of the village for all it's facilities.

A major plus for this cottage is two parking places however once parked up you've no need to use it until home time because there are countless walks from the doorstep and there is a reasonable bus service to the various surrounding areas. Rose Cottage is on our list for a return visit in the future.

Lovely holiday, beautiful, well equipped cottage, very tastefully decorated.

The cottage was excellently located, in the heart of Grassington, and on the beautiful Yorkshire Dales cycle route.

The cottage had covered storage for our bikes, which meant we were free to cycle without having to load and unload from roof racks. The cottage is thoughtfully renovated, with a light, spacious and open living space upstairs. No details have been missed, and the owners were very friendly and approachable. Couldn't have asked for a better holiday.

Only a few minor details needed to get a full set of perfect scores.

Tiny things like a tooth brush mug and couple of small shelves for wash bags in the shower rooms. On a personal note we'd ditch the scatter cushions as they invariably get thrown to one side and there's really nowhere for them to be. A TV manual would be a plus too. Overall we loved the place though.

The upstairs living space has a real wow factor and it is really well equipped.We will definitely come back.

The only reason Rose Cottage did not get a big smiley for facilities was because the television was very frustrating to view and also instructions not supplied on how to turn on !

The cottage was beautiful and so comfortable.

We could not have been in a better location with the pubs and shops a few minutes walk away but so many lovely walks into the dales right on the doorstep as well. The 2 off street parking spaces are a massive bonus and having 2 bathrooms and a separate w.c is very handy. The wi-fi in the cottage was an unexpected bonus too! The cottage has been beautifully furnished and is a lovely place to come back to and relax in after a days walking. The upside down layout really works with lovely views down the lane from the living area. Only thing to note is there isn't actually a DVD player (although it was listed in the facilities). With plenty of cafe's and pubs to visit and a lovely fire to sit next to whilst reading or chatting it really was a relaxing getaway. Hope to visit the property again!
