Description

Sunny Mount Cottage is a delightful, mid-terrace cottage resting in the picturesque market town of Grassington, in the heart of the ever-popular Yorkshire Dales.

It is wonderfully presented throughout, with bright colour schemes and plush furnishings, making the most of an ideal setting.

Share this homely setup with your loved ones, lounging in the sitting room before the electric fire, with a Smart TV to provide on-demand entertainment.

Move into the kitchen to discover all you need for a self-catered stay; you can whip up a home-cooked meal in the electric oven and hob and wash any muddy clothing straight away in the washing machine.

Boasting two well-presented bedrooms, including one king-size and one single with an additional pull out bed, along with a shower room and additional cloakroom, Sunny Mount Cottage provides a pleasant layout for couples or small families.

Both bedrooms have a variety of furnishings for you to store your personal belongings, with quaint windows allowing plenty of natural lighting.

Outside, there is a small courtyard area which is a real suntrap throughout the day, perfect for enjoying the warm weather with a favourite drink.

Grassington is a small market town that feels like a village, home to a bustling and cobbled market square, lined with quirky shops and boutiques specialising in gifts and arts, as well as a superb selection of eateries from restaurants and bistros to pretty cafés and local delis.

Adding to this, the town hosts a monthly farmers market selling the finest fresh produce, along with the annual Grassington Music & Arts Festival where visitors can enjoy live shows and entertainment.

Walkers will be interested in the 80-mile long-distance Dales Way footpath which runs from Ilkley to the charming village of Kettlewell and the peak Great Whernside, finishing all the way in Bowness-on-Windermere.

There is also the beautiful scenery of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which is best explored on a thrilling cycle ride, making this an ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts.

For days out, head to Skipton to see the 12th century fortress of Skipton Castle, visit the National Trust Owned East Riddlesden Hall or tour the White Scar Cave, the longest show cave in England!

With so many activities to fill your itinerary, Sunny Mount Cottage is a lovely Grassington getaway, any time of year.

Accommodation very comfortable and it was always nice to come back to after a days walking and cycling.

Cooking facilities and utensils were very good as there was everything we needed. There were only two of us so the space was adequate although I think it would have been a little on the small side for a family of four.

Lovely quaint cottage in a great location with parking a real bonus.

The cottage was comfortable, great communication from the owner, we had a small issue which Darren sorted immediately. We had a lovely week here, good weather and lots of lovely walks from Grassington. Thank you
