Sue was welcoming but not overpowering.

She left us a lovely lemon drizzle cake! The property is very 'cosy' and we felt very comfortable there. The location is good for local walks and historic places of interest.

This was a lovely place to stay and explore the nooks and the coast.

Handy for York and Castle Howard. Nice, friendly owner.

Lovely property and location.

Just a couple of negatives, the kettle wasn't very nice and it took a few uses to get rid of the scummy residue. The bedding was a bit tired and smelt strongly of washing powder. However its a pleasant place to stay. We were left a lovely lemon drizzle cake and only had any contact with the owner when we first arrived. Even when we knocked to say thank you and give back the key there was no response. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
