I loved my stay here, Hillary and Roger were very helpful, polite and friendly.

The cottage was excellent and views astounding. The location is perfect for exploring the dales which has plenty to offer. Cycling was challenging but worth the views plus, local drivers are very considerate. Racehorses a go-go! Hacking past the front window! Walking routes plenty of, beautiful, clean and quiet. Middleham is also steeped in history and the village trail is very interesting. Locally sourced food is always a plus for me and the Black Bull is a great pub selling well kept ale. I would've given all top marks for this lovely stay but knocked 1 off just for minor issues - parking wasn't always in same place, would have appreciated a couple hours heating last 2 nights but wall sockets supplying storage heaters wouldn't switch on. I hope this doesn't appear negative as this place is wonderful!

Unusual place to stay, but a very nice change.

Accommodation quite adequate for two, comfy chairs and bed, appreciated security of off street parking. Very friendly host who helped us with our luggage. We have already booked for next year in another if this host’s properties, which says it all. Middleham itself was great, small but with shop and several pubs/restaurants, and we loved the racehorses walking by.
